This is my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Fort Worth!! Food is tasty and fresh. I just love the atmosphere of the restaurant.

To honest this morning we were supposed to got to another restaurant this morning for breakfast, however they were closed unexpectedly. So we came to this First Watch location instead. This was by far the best experience service and food wise that I have ever experienced at any location. We ordered off the seasonal menu, we had the pumpkin mini donuts (forgot to take picture), the spare rib omelet and the truffle mushroom hash. OMG THE HASH! it was amazing and I seriously would go back tomorrow for another order. The spare rib omelet was also on point as were the donuts. However the truffle hash won everyone's vote at the table. We will come back specifically to this location it's beautiful and the service is amazing. read more

We've now eaten at First Watch 3 times over the past 3-4 weeks. Prior to our first visit we really weren't expecting much. But as you can tell by our number of visits over a short time we really did enjoy it!! Pros: Great food delivered hot by runners: it doesn't sit around waiting for your server to retrieve and deliver it! A jug of water left at your table for do it yourself refills. I like the clean, open & bright atmosphere. Cons: You are 'off the grid' once you step into this place, you cannot connect to internet. You will not be able to surf the net AT ALL while enjoying your company and meal. Wait, maybe this is a Pro?? They don't tell you the price for coffee. Even after researching the internet (from home) we couldn't tell if that pot they wave in front of you is free or not. It is NOT, nearly $3 for a cup of not worth it coffee. Tip: Get the First Watch App and 'get in line' before arriving. Wow I've never been to a First Watch before and this one is a new one opening at the alliance area. Let's just say they didn't disappoint! The food tasted amazing and was so fresh. I got the Chickichanga and a morning meditation for the drink. The Chickichanga was extremely good with a mix of flavors. Then you get fresh fruit on the side and potatoes! The morning meditation I was a little worried about bc the ingredients are orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger , agave nectar, and beet. But I figured might as well try it you never know and I loved it! When my husband seen it he thought I order an alcoholic drink I had to tell him no it's an orange juice drink. There was another customer that thought the same thing bc the beet juice is the red on top of the orange juice so it does look like it would be . But this is a place you should totally try! Good food and drinks, awful atmosphere. We started coming to First Watch after our "usual" Seven Mile would take about an hour just to get in for brunch on a Saturday. Upon walking in, you may notice that it is quite loud, I mistakenly wrote that off at the beginning... Servers here are usually bad. They either won't pay attention to you or will just completely get your order wrong. We've ordered everything from the avocado toast to the waffles and the food is always fresh, but never really goes past being "just good". Th Back to the noise level: it's always loud. As in, can't-hear-what-the-person-across-from-you-is-saying, loud. I would recommend driving a bit farther north to one of the Keller locations, as they don't seem nearly as loud as this location. read more

Came here accidentally last Saturday during their soft opening. We ordered Breakfast tacos, Cornbread carnitas, and Triple berry Acai bowl. All dishes were excellent!!! Not to mention their drinks. We tried their Kale tonic drink and Summer watermelon - both drinks were delicious. The restaurant was nice and clean. Servers were still training but I could tell they're on top of their game. I noticed this place a few months ago when they were opening but never been and I'm mad at myself for waiting so long! This place is DELICIOUS. For a starter, I got the donut bites with the three dipping sauces. The sauces were fresh and very strong (berry was tart, chocolate was rich, anglaise was kinda bland) but if you dipped your donut in multiple sauces it was very yummy. I ordered the Steak and potatoes skillet or hash with scrambled eggs. And man oh man was it good. Everything tasted fresh like they picked the vegetables that morning and just cut up the cow (sorry lol). I think my hubby got the Farm Skillet and he said it was also delicious. I tasted a bite from his plate and I've never had such delicious roasted tomatoes. I love that the food didn't make me feel heavy even though I ate it all. It's light and healthy and doesn't compromise on the taste! There were so many things on the menu I want to try and I will most definitely be going back. I'm interested in their pressed juices and specialty cocktails. The Rum cereal milk caught my eye. May do this place once a month and I love that there's more than one location. Nice morning weekday breakfast. New menu items are always interesting, so I tried the Truffled Mushroom Frittata. Not very Truffled, but it was nice. Side of Million dollar bacon came out noticably burned on one half of each piece. Dried burned edges. Checked just to be sure it wasn't carmalized sugar and Bleh! Definitely burned. Sent it back and asked for regular/plain bacon. That looked and tasted normal. Upon checking out noticed still charged for M$B instead of regular ol' bacon. Exasperated. I checked my family and I in on-line, when we got there we went up to the check-in stand to follow up with our online request. A mistake was made in checking us in and 3 parties went in front of us without us knowing. The manager or owner, Renee, went above and beyond to satisfy our frustration and impatience by quickly getting us seated and served once he found out that we were not correctly checked in. The food was great. and the hot syrup was even better! And we left full and happy! The environment is very diverse and welcoming. Definitely coming back. Thanks Renee. Ok the decor in the restaurant is pretty dope so there's that. Lemon ricotta pancakes are very tasty. Sometimes they're crispy, other times not so much, so depends on who's cooking that morning. Go easy on that lemon "frosting" they put atop the pancakes. That stuff is too sweet. I opted for the warm syrup. Purple Haze drink looks beautiful but kinda sweet as well. Not like orange soda sweet but you're gonna get sugared up if all this is consumed at once. The biscuits and gravy was a bit sodium rich, but still very good. Thick biscuit and some excellent turkey sausage gravy. Kale tonic sounds kinda healthy and not overly sweet, so a good choice. Steer clear of the Flavor Free Bob Mills Cheese Grits. Those aren't cheese grits. Service was a tad slow at times but everyone is friendly. Try it out. read more

Wow! Food so great, that every weekend you will need to wait a few minutes to get a table, but the quality and service is to superb that it's worth it. We went on a Friday around 11, got seated pretty fast the server was very pleasant and quick. The place is very cute. Now let me tell you about the food I got the tri fecta I felt my food was not hot, I can't eat waffles when they are cold, the bacon was hard. The waitress brought me another plate and it didn't take long at all, the syrup was really hot so when I poured it on the waffle it kind of help. The drink I really enjoyed the most!!! The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the menu is pretty limited; I'm a steak and eggs breakfast guy and they don't offer it. What they do offer is an eclectic variety that can be best summed up as hipster heaven (IMO). I was eating solo and found the "community table" to be inviting, basically a high top that probably seats 10, definitely beats waiting in line! I had the carnitas bowl and it was a nice blend of flavors, they had me at avocado. The portion side was a little on the light side from what I'm used to but I admit I left there without feeling like a glutton and wasn't hungry so maybe it was a happy medium? The person who I assume was my server then came over and dropped off my water without saying a word to me. After my order was placed it took 22 minutes for my food to come out wrong. A very accommodating manager came over to apologize for the food being wrong. I proceeded to tell her about my experience in her restaurant up to that point. She was also very kind and apologetic. She ended up payed for my meal and gave me a gift card to apologize. I will be back to give it another shot in hopes to give more stars. Had it not been for the manager and the host this would have been a two star review. Food was good. Eggs were not bad. Visited for my first time last week with my boyfriend and everything was AMAZING. The service was great, our server was friendly and attentive. The food was to die for!! I love the concept is farm to table (maybe? I think) but it's healthier alternatives too and whole grain pancakes that are amazing and HUGE for an awesome price. The place isn't accommodating a huge amount of tables i'm assuming the capacity is a lot smaller so it feels more empty without tables everywhere. The coffee was good i've also had the iced coffee take out option before work one day and that's even really good how it comes! I just can't give much more then this. I had such high hopes. I'm not dieting to lose weight. I'm on sodium restriction that's life or death. Trust me it SUCKS trying to find things i can eat. I felt good about coming here. Was told they had a menu with every sodium amount in each item. Yes and everything was buried in sodium. I was so sad. I finally ordered a salad and asked if i could have a simple plain grilled chicken breast (preferably not brined) on the salad instead of turkey lunch meat which is notoriously high in sodium. I was assured no issue with this. I get iced cold precooked salty as heck chicken chopped. It's highly processed. They had salmon (still salty not sure what's on it) but i hate hate salmon. It's too fishy for me. I legit could not find anything to eat that was under 500mg of sodium. I settled on a salad with 750 mg of sodium and lemon dressing. Now that dressing is why it has a solid 2 star. No sodium and delicious. I ended up getting the salad with zero chicken and giving the chicken to my kid. It wasn't worth the headache or the trip to the bathroom to cry. I don't understand why food workers or better yet, OWNERS, don't understand why some people have truly life or death sodium restrictions but we still want to socialize with our family. Why can you not offer a could of items geared toward lower sodium? Whole grains less fat and sodium. We're not that picky. In fact we get giddy when we find something and don't have to ask a million questions hoping the person answering realizes that this could actually hurt us if the answers is incorrect. read more

I was told a 25 minute wait... we waited 40min. The waiting area is too small and cramped for the wait list. Also we have been to two other locations frequently, just moved to this area, and this by far was the worst food and service. They brought our ticket out and we weren't even halfway done with our meal. As if we were being rushed out the door after 25 minutes of sitting down. Our food was cold. I will definitely never come back to this location. Even though they are a newer location, they should have the same training and at least customer service skills. Best one of the First Watch restraunts in Fort Worth-clean, big with lots of tables & space (lots more than the others), outside patio and a brunch bar!! Location very easy to get in and out of & lots of parking. It's also very near the professional building where I work. First Watch has always been our favorite place to eat, so happy with this new location. Great experience here at this location, will be back often & probably only come to this one from now on because of its size & location. The wait times & complaints that people are posting on here are not fair reviews. For example, if you've ever eaten at First Watch on the weekend EVERY location has a very long wait. The food is is that good and that unique that people flock to these restraunts. If the restraunt is overrun you might not get your order placed within 5 minutes of sitting down, but you certainly aren't waiting hours at a table the servers wouldn't be able to continue working there because server salaries in Texas are a very meager amount and the rest is based on tips=moving tables. Check in online or go during off peak hours. This location is a brand new restraunt. I'd hate for this restraunt to not do well & get new patrons coming in due to some keyboard warriors who like to vent online. Be nice & you will probably get excellent service, as I always have. read more

I cannot begin to express how angry I am right now. We waited two hours for a table this morning. Granted it's Mother's Day, understandable. Once we were seated it was 50 minutes without food, and we told it would be an additional 30 minutes due to the kitchen being backed up. If you don't have the staff, don't open! There is no way that breakfast food should take 1.5 to be prepared. Table after table started walking out, and we did the same. Horrible Mother's Day experience, and we will never return to First Watch after completely waiting almost 3.5 hours on absolutely nothing.
