    French toast
    Randy S.

The food was mediocre, the French toast was dry as in not enough egg soaking before cooking. The syrup was watery as well. Probably will not order the pancakes or french toast ever again. The omelette was good but had too many onions on the uncooked side. Would work with a few less and better cooking. Their original iced coffee had too much cream in it. Overall this visit was a bit below average. The service folks are very nice and the dining room is clean. So a good 2 1/2 stars is my personal recommendation for this visit, as it needs improvement. Far below my last rating.

AM Superfoods Bowl next to an average size coffee mug

This is a DoorDash order review. Ordered DoorDash for breakfast this morning from First Watch. We ordered the traditional breakfast, kids egg breakfast and AM superfoods bowl. I received the AM Superfoods bowl in a small cup, $15 for a small cup of food and some toast. Do better! I understand that food prices have gone up but this is totally unacceptable. In the restaurant they give a beautiful "normal" size bowl with enough to take home. It's insulting to loyal customers and stock holders (yes I am a stock holder) of this business.

Recently came here for breakfast. Wait wasn't too bad thanks to their handy waitlist function via the web or their app. Upon seating we were greeted and our order taken. Our food came out minutes within us ordering it. My waffle was hot and fresh. Cooked perfectly. Crispy outside and tender on the inside. I washed it down with one of their delicious fresh pressed juices, the kale tonic. It was very fresh and crisp. Check out was speedy. You can either pay before leaving or scan the receipt and pay that way. I'll definitely patronize again.

Why would anyone put onions chopped this size into (basically) an omelet?!?

I work in the area and frequent this place for lunch (carryout). I usually get the turkey club and tomato soup. DELICIOUS every time. However, one 12/17, my coworkers and I came here for a sit-down lunch. I ordered the Frittata... WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ONIONS AND WHY ARE THE ONIONS SO BIG?!? Oh my gosh. LOL. It would have been delicious had the onions actually been chopped or something. The onions in the pic were taken from just HALF the frittata that was leftover. It was really hard to enjoy the meal like this. I gave it 4 stars because I've never had a complaint about the meal I normally get for lunch. If I had to rate the frittata, it would be a 2.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was probably one of the nicer locations I've been to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hostesses were very friendly and made some recommendations we enjoyed, including these pancakes. The food was top notch.

First Watch is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch. They have a wide selection of beverages, including coffee, teas, fresh juices, sodas and even brunch cocktails. They also have plenty of options for breakfast from your classics eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, etc. to healthier options like avocado toast, oatmeal, granola bowls, etc. They also offer sandwiches, salads and a kids menu. All in all they have something for everyone, and can accommodate if you have a special dietary request. I opted for The Traditional, which included a choice of two eggs, turkey links, seasoned potatoes, and a side of whole grain toast with house made preserves. This was a lot of food and I ended up sharing most of my plate, but everything was cooked & seasoned well. I don't remember our waiter's name, but he was very kind and checked on us several times to make sure everything was good or if we needed anything. There were no complaints from my table and we enjoyed our food. The restaurant was a bit busy when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait for a table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have indoor and outdoor seating for the summer at least.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Weekends seem especially busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

First Watch is a franchise from Kansas and their location in Glen Burnie apparently has been around for 6 years. A superb option for the community, this place offers everything breakfast brunch to lunch, fresh juices, frittatas, power bowls, salads, and sandwiches. Yummm to all incorporating seasonal ingredients! Our table shared the Hawaiian French Toast, Morning Market vegetable omelet, and belgian waffle. Coffee stayed hot in my mug with bottomless refills! *carafe at the table. Everything came out perfect and delicious, simple and satisfying. Marley was our server, and she was the sweetest! Come early, this place gets packed! Definitely recommend it and can't wait to visit again when in the area! Parking gets full, so find extra spots over by nearby Lowe's.

I was on an Avocado Toast kick so when my sis came in town, I decided we'd find a spot with the toast! I got waayyy more than I asked for! First Watch is so incognito yet, it's really, "A Go-To Brunch Spot". The shopping center is small but offers ample free parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is indoor and outdoor seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is full of breakfast & brunch favorites healthy and not so healthy (Lol). Having dined here twice with others, I can confidently advise that the food is GOODT. I had the Elevated Egg sandwich with Million Dollar Bacon (YUM!). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean restaurant, inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and great customer service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restroom was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The prices are reasonable. I enjoyed my meal and plan to return again and again. Check them out! :-)

If you like soggy greens and bad service; this is your place. Today's experience has turned me off 100%. I hope you fair better than me.

Stay away. My order was completely messed up and the manager tried to act like it was my fault. I will never return and will actively steer my friends away from all of these locations.

My favorite breakfast spot again not disappointed at all I don't know who came up with this hash but it was delicious very flavorful. And than washed it down with a mimosa.

Found this randomly searching for breakfast places around me and I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the food! Had a blood Mary which was sweet from the bacon garnish, but not bad. Ordered the hacienda hash which was so tasty. Hubby got biscuit with turkey gravy and egg whites plus potatoes. He ate it all, he said it was fab. The portions are good size. Great bases menu plus a seasonal menu. The set up of the restaurant could be better, too much of a jam at front and no where to wait really. Loved our server. Excellent experience. Must try!

The lady greeted us promptly and took us to our seats. The server came over and got the drink order just as smoothly . We knew what we wanted and ordered right away and served very quickly. This was a weekday afternoon. My husband ordered the Floridian, a French toast base, topped with fresh fruit and a double serving of berry compote. I ordered an all greens salad with their lemon dressing, really good, a perfect dressing. Also, an order of their million dollar bacon, done crisply. They brought out the bacon, and I sent it back, too well done, charred parts, and I guess some folks like it that way. The second try was just right. The server also left a bottle of cold water, which was so good and a lot less running for her. We'll be back, great food, very clean, an an all-around good atmosphere. There is plenty of free parking.

It might look tiny, but don't misjudge the coffee and other drinks they are making here! I actually went back after my first order to try another beverage, it was that good. I started with a Fall-flavored 'refresher,' though I can't honestly remember the name. But, it was amazing! I was down the strip a few shops for an event, so I popped back to The Big Bean before they closed for their "Not Ready for Winter" coffee concoction. Another winner! I also picked up a couple of biscotti for later. When we did finally get around to trying them, they were incredible! Very hard and crunchy as a biscotti should be, and perfect for soaking up some coffee for dunking. And the flavors are perfect. Other people were ordering their breakfast sandwiches, which honestly looked and smelled incredible... I just didn't have room for food that day. Or, I would have totally ordered one just based off of others' orders alone! The real five-star facet here, though, was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful, despite how busy they were. They still found time for friendly and cheerful banter while ringing everyone up. I don't think team members get enough credit when they go above and beyond, but please take the time to tip or at least acknowledge the fantastic folks here! Overall, it's a wonderful coffee shop that I wish were closer to home! And... had more parking! The number and orientation of spots here isn't ideal, but it's worth an extra walk (huge lot across the street) for the drinks, snacks, and people at The Big Bean. Outstanding overall experience!

It took a while for the flight to be prepared because I think they're a little bit shortstaffed on a Monday morning, but they had a lot of comfortable places to sit and wait. The corn beef sandwich came out good and I mentioned it was simple because it's literally just corn beef with some white bread and some cheese, but it was actually pretty tasty for breakfast. The coffee flight came out and it's on a large paddle and it looked really delicious. I have to say the regular flavored lattes and the croissant weren't my favorite choices, but as I started moving down the paddleboard towards flavored lattes and the Blondi bar, it was pretty good. My favorite latte was the butter beer and my favorite pastry actually turned out to be the Blondie brownie bar. The inside has enough seating for about 50 people and it's really cutely decorated. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the mood for a coffee after a day of shopping in Ellicott city.

There were 6 of us, and they were able to put two tables together to accommodate us. I was overall disappointed with the food. The waffle which I paid $5 for was super small and there were just chunks of sugar in it. I also ordered scrambled eggs with spinach and cheese. The spinach came out on the side of the eggs and was uncooked. The cheese was not melted, and the eggs were burnt (dark brown and dry). The waitress was kind enough to take the eggs back for the cheese and spinach to be mixed/melted. They were still burnt and flavorless. I picked around and ate what I could. I also ordered some kind of spinach and feta pastry from the front case, which was good. We also all enjoyed the homefries which were crispy with a unique seasoning. We ordered the stuffed french toast which had a great flavor, but it wasn't really stuffed, there were just toppings on it. My nephew ordered the chicken and waffles. He's 15. I'm guessing that waitress assumed he was a kid and gave him the kids portion. Either way, the fried chicken looked like two pieces of frozen chicken schnitzel. My mother ordered the Reuben and did not like it at all because it lacked flavor.
