Hostess was really nice but my husband, daughter & I were seated and waited for over 20 minutes and not a single waiter or waitress stopped at our table. Saw one waitress standing there chatting with customers for several minutes but couldn't get anyone to our table. I'd understand if it was busy but there were literally a bunch of empty tables. First time going to this place for breakfast and I will definitely be back! The food and the customer service was top notch! Julie was our waitress and she was the best server I had in a long time! She had a great personality and super hard working! They are lucky to have her if I must say ! I ordered turkey sausage and gravy platter that came with eggs and potatoes and I also ordered the special seasonal fruit toast on brioche bread! Amazing! It was delicious!! My hubby got an omelette and side of bacon that was caramelize with maple syrup! There is not any other place like this in Glenburnie especially for breakfast!! I highly recommend it if you like a fancier breakfast sometimes! But their prices are definitely very reasonable if you ask me way better quality than IHOP or Denny's which are your other options around that area on Ritchie Highway! read more

Loved this spot! It just opened up and I've been several times. I enjoy their fun juices like Carrot Crush and Morning Meditation as a pick-me-up for the day. They're french toast, pancakes, and healthy morning bowls are all delectable options. The staff seem to still be getting used to the flow of things and familiarity with the menu options. They are friendly, nonetheless, and are quick to rectify any errors on their end. I would highly recommend stopping by here for an enjoyable, fresh breakfast. read more

By far one of the best breakfast spots in the area. Whether you go to Timonium, Reistertown Columbia... wherever. It's my new fav. (Cracker barrel was my previous pick) The service is always excellent, clean and cool atmosphere and great customer service/interaction even when it's crowded. Now let get to the food... grilled blueberry muffin tops with fresh fruit? Yummy! Best omelets anywhere. Natural whipped up morning tonics. First and last time visiting this location. I ordered an AVOCADO chicken salad and received with no avocado. So I waited almost 10 minutes till we got a server's (not our server) attention then they give us barely a slice of an avocado when the photo CLEARLY shows 3-4 slices of an avocado.I didn't want to further complain because my grandfather was almost finished with his meal at this point. This place is AMAZING!!! Everything from the greeting to the food was excellent. We came in at around 8 am and the same waitress that took care of us, greeted and seated us. Her name was Nicole & she was FANTASTIC! I've never had a waitress be this personal and attentive. She was well versed on the menu. She explained the story behind the coffee beans that are used, even explained their Colombian origin, and the business being women owned. Then she explained the menu items as this was our first time eating here. Her suggestions were right on point! Not only was she a stellar waitress, she was also manning the hosting until the host came in, and packaging what seemed like a huge influx of grub hub orders. I don't know how she did it, but she did and did it well. Now to the food, delicious is an understatement. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. I went on a Wednesday morning right before noon. The seating area is small, but there weren't too many guests, and there looked to be at least two wait staff as well as front of house. So one would think that service was would relatively snappy. It was incredibly slow, but also weirdly rushed. More on that in a minute. First, let's discuss the meal. I ordered the BLTE sandwich, broccoli cheese soup, and cheesy grits. When my meal was delivered, the grits were missing. When asked if there was anything else they could get me, I inquired about the grits and was informed they would be served "after". After what? It makes me think they forgot to place the order for them. After about five minutes, the grits arrived and I could finally tuck into my meal. The sandwich was just ok. It was nothing special; the bacon was thick cut but strangely flavorless. The field greens tasted too sharp on a simple egg and bacon toast. The bread was bland. The grits were also bland. Their cheese grits consists of very bland grits with melted cheese on top. Definitely not the kind of cheese grits I've had at other places, but that's me setting expectations too high. However, the broccoli cheese soup was disgusting. Overly salted, processed cheese flavored wallpaper paste with nary a floret to be found. You can go across the street to Panera and get a better quality broccoli soup, which is sad. Now, about the slow-yet-rushed service: I had just started eating my grits when the waitress asked if I wanted a box and tried to take half of my sandwich! But not once did she ask if I wanted a water or a refill on my soft drink. After I told her I was still working on it, she disappeared. Then I saw her and asked for a refill, when she once again asked if I wanted a box. I was eating the other part of the sandwich at the time. All in all, the service is spotty, the food is mediocre at best, and I will not be back. read more

I'm not typically a kale fan but this juice was fantastic! The coffee was even top notch! Like a barista had prepared it for me. I had the braised short rib eggs Bennie. It was hands down the best I've ever had! My daughter LOVED her berry toast and my mother hasn't stopped talking about her sandwich! The portions are very generous. I couldn't finish everything! This is the third time coming to this location and beside one mishap with a waitress a few months ago I really like this place. The food is consistent and really delicious. I always get the farmhouse skillet and the million dollar bacon. We also ordered the avocado toast today which I thought was a bit bland. I will say that every time I use their table side half and half it's spoiled and I have to get new coffee and half and half from the kitchen. I don't understand why they can't manage their little half and half cups better. It can't be a coincidence that every time it's spoiled and swims up to the top. The flavored ones don't seem to be the issue. Our waitress today, Pua, was incredible. She was very nice and accommodating. read more

My husband and I woke up late called first watch and they were willing to accommodate us before closing. The food was phenomenal and we received Superb customer service from the waitress Tara. She went above and beyond. We were the last patrons for the day but Tara treated us like the first patrons walking in the door. If you go to First watch on Ritchie Hwy ask for Tara. read more

I really really really want to like this First Watch location more. I discovered this chain in the Midwest and it was great, but this location is very hit or miss. I've had undercooked eggs on benedicts that were unsettling and cold food with takeout that was super late coming out (e.g. today my waffle was very cold and my husband's toast wasn't toasted). The wait staff is very nice but it's clear that they are understaffed an the restaurant doesn't seem to be managed very well. Major warning about takeout too! The app is NOT accurate. It said my food would be done by 10:00 a.m. Got there at 10:05 and had to wait over 30 minutes. Other people were in the same boat. Might want to avoid getting takeout... I give it a 3 because I like the idea of the First Watch and the low prices, but this location isn't up to par. :( read more

The food is really good but each time we go the wait take 30 minutes to an hour or so. Half the time we have reserved a space on line to be on the waitlist and arrive 5 minutes or so ahead of the time it says we should be seated and its still 30 minutes to an hour after our reservation to get seated. The food is really pretty good but you have to have no plans and considerable patience to eat there. Today it took 2 hours for 2 people to eat brunch. We collectively got 2 eggs, 1 pancake, 2 strips of bacon, a muffin and a bowl of oatmeal. That took 2 hours!!! An it's always a long visit. read more

We waited an hour and a half for 4 items, seeing tables being turned over all around us as we waited. When I went to the front to ask, she was incredibly sassy and made excuses.
