This was my first visit to First Watch and overall a good experience. We had a super sweet waiter, Jason. He made some good recommendations. I ordered the skillet meal and we shared the Million Dollar Bacon appetizer...delish! My skillet plate came with breakfast potatoes that were seasoned to perfection, chopped bacon, cheese, grilled onions and topped with an egg made your way. The meal also came with 2 thick cut slices of whole grain toast and some fruit. Very filling! Overall cute ambiance and large hearty portions. Will go back and try the avocado toast! read more

This place is not the typical chain restaurant. The staff here never lets you see an empty glass of water or cold cup of coffee. The food is always fresh and creative. I always order from the seasonal menu because I love variety. Justin is typically my waiter or Crystal is my waitress however today I had someone new. I didn't catch her name, but she was fantastic too. I always bring my clients here because we can plug into the community table with our laptops and have our food severed quickly. read more

Man, people rave about this place, including my SO! So I was excited when we had an opportunity to go for brunch on a Sunday. I was ready for a punch in the mouth of flavor and innovative menu. The menu had a lot of options with unique platters and even some more traditional versions. I loved that they had nearly every type of brunch food you could ask for and had healthier options like gluten-free bread. I ordered a cheese, bacon, and avocado omelette with gluten-free bread. When it came, it was missing the pico de gallo on the side that was listed in the menu. My mother-in-law ordered the same thing and hers was missing as well. We flagged down the waiter and he got us some pico but I realized afterward that my bread looked like everyone else's. When I grabbed he waiter again to inquire, he realized the kitchen had given me regular bread instead of gluten-free, which is offered everywhere on the menu. These weren't major issues but toss in that the omelette was bland--like no seasoning--and it just wasn't great. It was just...food. My SO thought here was delicious, so I'll have to try it again. Hopefully my second time will prove more flavorful and attentive in the kitchen. read more

I am super disappointed with this follow up visit after such an amazing experience at the First Watch Yelp Event in League City. My husband and I were so excited after the event we planned on visiting the First Watch - Pearland location that same weekend. Biggest issue for me was nothing tasted fresh like our initial experience which extremely disappointing since that's their trademark. "Yeah, it's fresh" Apparently, it was not that day. Every dish where we had avocado...you can see and taste that it was at the end of its life. But, I guess if you drench the avocado in lemon juice to prevent it from browning more than it actually already has will make things better. Nope. Everything was just very lemony, acidic, and very unpleasant. We loved the avocado toast so much during the event we could not resist getting it again. Did not love it again after this experience with the avocado being the star of the dish and the issue with the avocados. Our basted eggs were also over cooked, and the bread didn't taste fresh either. It was crispy because its toasted, but it also tasted stale unlike our first experience where it was lightly toasty, but still soft and fluffy in the center. I decided to try the Eggs Benedict - Florentine. Same issue with the avocados on this dish. Browning, drenched in lemon juice; just awful. The hollandaise sauce was also disgusting; when you think of a hollandaise sauce you think of something rich and creamy. Their hollandaise was very strange; it 'looked' watery...but it was 'gloopy' consistency. It also tasted like someone got a bottle of lemon juice from HEB and went to town on the sauce. Terrible. My eggs were over cooked as well and the ciabatta bread was just too thick and hard. Doesn't quite go well with eggs Benedict like how an english muffin does. Needless to say, by the time we got to our lemon ricotta pancakes we had enough of the lemon flavor. Couldn't quite enjoy the pancakes to its utmost potential. They were fluffy, big, and the ricotta sweetness worked well with the acidity of the lemon. Overall, will not reorder most of these items again (Unfortunately). Will have to reconsider if we will return as well. read more

We went to brunch today, Saturday, and waited 30 minutes to be seated not bad for a weekend. The couple sitting at the table near us said they waited a long time for their food, so I decided to see how long it would take after we ordered. 51 minutes later we got our food and yes I used my stop watch on my phone. 51 minutes. That is ridiculous. We asked to speak with the manager and he never came to our table. Take out orders a more important than customers actually coming on to eat. read more

I attend the Yelp Elite event, and I'm giving it 5 stars mainly because of how much the leadership team prides itself in quality food and service. During the event, we got to sample avocado toast, the chickichanga, the pesto chicken quinoa bowl, the banana granola crunch pancake, the roast beef and harvarti sandwich, and various juices. My favorites were the roast beef and harvarti sandwich and quinoa bowl. They had great flavor. The pancake could have been fluffier, but I guess this way makes it healthier. The avocado toast tastes like any standard avocado toast... (make sure to squeeze lemon). Its thick-cut whole grain bread had great texture. I didn't care for the potatoes with the chickichanga as I wish they were a bit more roasted (and crispy). Definitely 100% better than I-Hop and Denny's. I'm very impressed with the Yelp Elite event. Our hosts were funny and very welcoming. They gave a gift card for our next visit and a blueberry muffin. I had the muffin the next day for breakfast and it was still moist! read more

Came here for breakfast on a random weekday and the place was pretty busy by 10am. The host was very friendly and sat us within 5minutes of being there. Great service despite being short staff. Smoked salmon eggs Benedict was average, hollandaise sauce was a bit bland. The breakfast tacos were flavorful and the juices were also pretty good. Service was slightly better only because we were overly proactive, waitress was very sweet but they seem to have no organized plan for who covers what area. They're just running all over the place. That being said, sorry First Watch i still won't be coming back. The food was worst this time. Pictures attached of 'over easy' eggs and potatoes. Potatoes were still hard and cold in the middle. My husband, who eats anything and everything, didn't finish his skillet - food was undercooked. Wish it was a hit since I live so close! If you want to eat within the hour you are seated don't come here. Food is mediocre but the ambiance is cute. I won't be visiting again purely because everything from getting your water, your food, and your bill goes at a ridiculous pace. read more

To start off, the service here is great. I wish I remembered the name of my server but he was very nice and checked up on us regularly to make sure what we liked and didn't like about our food. A+ for him. I ordered from the spring seasonal menu which I believe is gone now. I got the matcha pancakes and the chicken chimichurri hash. The matcha pancakes were definitely not worth my money, they didn't taste like anything. The chimmichurri dish however was really good. I didn't finish it and took it him and oddly enough it tasted even better after I've reheated it. My boyfriend got the elevated egg sandwich and omg it was soooo good! The sandwich was so soft and it melted in my mouth. I am for sure getting it for myself when I come back. The place is very nice and clean. I would have to say, this was my second time ever coming to this location, I was excited to try a new dish as last time I had one of the skillets. Well, this visit wasn't good at all. So I ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict, the millionaire bacon, and a side of potatoes. Well what came out was the Clasic Eggs Benedict, the bacon and potatoes were correct. So after telling my waiter the mistake that was made, he kindly apologized and had the kitchen remake my order correctly this time.... well.... yea... I'm guessing the kitchen was mad they had to remake the meal cause what came out looked like someone threw some stuff on a plate and stabbed at it with a fork out of anger... Needless to say, it looked so unpleasant that I didn't eat any of it... I ate my bacon and some of my potatoes... My waiter on the other hand was so nice and so apologetic. He only charged me for the bacon and apologized for the mistakes. I told him it wasn't his fault, and that the kitchen staff and cooks are the ones that should be out here apologizing. But they were too busy trying to clean up so they could leave! Smh... This was a horrible visit, and I pray the next time I come here, the person that was cooking my food isnt the one cooking it then! Whoever owns this location or business should really talk with their management on customer service... with how messed up my order was, a manager should of came up to me and spoken to me at least.... if I was one of those butthole people, there would of been a lot of yelling and cussing and I'm sure the waiter wouldn't of gotten a tip, even though the messed up order wasn't his fault, but I tipped him. I'm not that person. Amyways!! DONT EVER GO AFTER 2PM. So unorganized. The food is not bad when you can finally get a waitress to take your order and bring your food. We were sat at a "clean" table that was sticky (reasons we do not frequent places like iHop). On top of having to wait for everything drinks, to get our order taken, to receive our food... the wait to get our check and our card back was long as well and then the waitress wanted to talk to us like she's known us forever while we were signing to leave. Maybe care about your customers during their whole experience or just the part where they are tipping you. read more

Ate here today with my family. Made reservations on the yelp app which cut down our wait time for a table! Definitely recommend doing this! Restaurant was very crowded but things were clean and moved along nicely. I ordered breakfast tacos with eggs, chicken, chorizo, cheese and avocado. They were fabulous! Came with a side of black beans. I also got the morning meditation drink which was very fresh tasting. My daughter got the chocolate chip pancake which was HUGE! It was also very tasty. My other daughter got the scrambled eggs and bacon. It came with toast and fresh fruit which was also very good she told me. The million dollar bacon was super yummy! Still can't give this restaurant a positive review, I try once or twice a year and they can't get it right. Lost to go orders, missing items on orders, slow service, and today we joined the 20-30 minute wait list but when we arrive after 30 minutes, they told me it would be another 20-30 minute wait!
