Returned because who can resist the pancakes at First Watch...not me! One rude manager is not going to rain on my parade. Plus our server was amazing! Her energy alone had me proud I gave this place another chance. The general manager also greeted our table along with many others. The true Texan hospitality filled the room. Of course I had coffee and thy kept them coming! I hope to be back soon. Happy Yelping!

Ordered the French toast with a side of turkey sausage along with a mimosa. All were so good!! The staff were all very friendly and the service was fast!

Very very very very very thin slices of the good stuff: the toppings. Cheap.

This experience was disappointing. The space is nice enough and more voluminous than Webster location. My server was nice enough but she did not know anything. Like she had started working there today. Every question I asked required a trip somewhere to consult someone. They were pretty easy question: Do you have thousand island dressing? (BTW they do not). Is the ranch dressing made on site? (The answer is no and it's not great commercial dressing). The service at the Webster location is terrible too so maybe they need to implement some proper training systems. The food: I ordered a half sandwich and Cobb salad. I started with a Bloody Mary and typically it's good. The bacon was as limp as a spaghetti noodle and the carafe was room temperature. The food came and the ham and Gruyère melt was truly unremarkable. The Gruyère had no personality, the brioche bread was under-grilled. The salad was a mass of spring mix. The toppings were all sliced so thin as to maximize coverage. It's a stingy Cobb salad that has *at most* 1/4 of an avocado, 1/3 of a boiled egg and less than a tablespoon of chopped tomato. This restaurant has rampant food waste... you can see when the tables are bussed that they throw away mountains of food. So why then is my Cobb salad so sad? All this cost $24 before tip. I don't see myself going back to this location.

The food was very good it came pretty quick and all correct. The server was really nice and attentive, there was a slight wait but that's normal. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, overall good experience definitely will continue coming!

I went for breakfast last Sunday and had a great experience. Even though it was busy we were able to get seated quickly and we also received our food and drinks in a timely manner. The service was amazing and the food was so tasty!

It's been a few years since we tried this location, and despite the negative experience the first time, felt it was time to check-in and see if there has been an improvement. So glad we did. It certainly was a better experience this time around. Staff was friendly, food was served in a reasonable time, hot and tasty. I decided to go with a seasonal dish and ordered The TRAILBLAZER BOWL (Hand-pulled roasted turkey, house-roasted sweet potatoes, cage-free scrambled eggs, lemon tahini arugula, fresh avocado with superseed crunch and fresh herbs). If you like breakfast hashes/bowls, this was a good one. I have tried many takes on this type of breakfast bowls, but never had one with roasted turkey so I was not sure if I would like it - well, I loved it! If you like breakfast hashes, and you like these particular ingredients, it is worth a try; you too might find a new favorite. Oh, can't leave off the coffee, it was hot and strong, just like I like it.

My mom and I are huge breakfast fans and we love first watch! The location is close by to us so we try to make it here when we can. Weekends are usually crowded but with great food and service it's worth the wait. We went today and our server Stephen. M greeted us at the door and sat us immediately. I ordered the biscuit and gravy and my mom got the trifecta. The millionaire bacon is awesome and compliments the meal nicely. Food was great and came out at a reasonable time. Stephen was awesome ! Consistently checked up on us and made sure we were accommodated too the entirety of our visit. Can't wait to come again!

I go here weekly for breakfast. I get the farm skillet with no eggs and cheese to make it vegan. It's really good.

Remton is only like 2 minutes from my home and I've only heard wonderful things about it…read more I've been long overdue to check it out so I stopped by for dinner yesterday evening and ordered from their HRW menu. I also planned to order things I either had never tried before or that I rarely eat. Every single course gave me everything I needed. First course: chawanmushi. A deliciously savory egg custard dish with shrimp, chicken and mushrooms. From looking at it you're not sure if your going to like it but WOW! The custard itself was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the shrimp and chicken made it more than just an egg custard and the mushroom...idk what kind of mushroom it was but it kinda tasted like a flavorful meatball and was SO delicious. SECOND COURSE: Tuna tartare - an award winning chef must craft these dishes because the flavor profiles of the food and way they put different ingredients together that you wouldn't expect is nothing short of culinary wizardry. The tuna with the mango with the cucumber and onions and everything was incredible fresh. Impeccable. Third course: Beef curry. Absolutely amazing! The beef was super tender, the curry had a light hint of Coconut, everything was seasoned to perfection and there wasn't a single grain of jasmine rice that was undercooked. The carrots in the curry were perfectly cooked. Dessert: mango sticky rice. The rice perfectly cooked. The mango was perfectly sliced and super fresh and the sauce, I'm guessing it wasa condensed milk and sugar mixture. It was delicious and comforting. Basically a delicious mango rice pudding after pouring the sauce on it. Artistry: The food was all plated and presented to me beautifully. It was nothing less than edible art and they clearly put care and heart into not just the taste but the look of the food. Parking is plentiful, service is top tier and the ambience is lovely, well decorated and clean. I'll definitely be back. They also had plenty of variety for every diet. Even keto which can be difficult with Asian restaurants due to all the rice.

Bot chien was a pleasant surprise! I like the way they did it, and it kept me well full. Very generous with egg. Pho broth wasn't crazily oily, which is great. Perfect seasoning and sodium level. I would eat the pho here again. Banh xeo was HUGE. It was delicious and the greens they provided with were abundant. Service was great and attentive. The server was very respectful and made sure to do the accommodations I requested (no cilantro). Now for the cons. The pork bun was too dry. Bun Bo hue was actually so incorrect. The seasoning and broth were not right. No hints of lemongrass anywhere. It's like they created their own recipe and called it bun bo hue. The good thing about this restaurant is that there's something for everyone in terms of Asian cuisine. I'm glad I got to try samples of everyone's dish to get a feel of how they run things in the kitchen. Some things need serious improvement while others were excellent; and that's okay. 4/5. Will return, but also not a priority to.

Our server SAL was top notch, explained everything on the menu that I drilled him about - really painted a picture of what the items was all about, helped me with making a selection! Give that kid a Gold Star - he is my server for life at Red OAK. He took care of us with a smile and quick service, what a shining star they got when they hired him! Now for the food - mercy is all I can say - the biscuits were out of this world - flaky, fluffy and fabulous! This isn't a shiny, soulless concept bar with Edison bulbs and a marketing team. It's a neighborhood joint that understands the fundamentals: cold beer, poured correctly; food that knows what it is; prices that don't insult you; and a staff that actually gives a damn. Let's talk beer first, because they clearly do. The draft list is deep and thoughtful--enough variety to satisfy the hop-chasers, the lager loyalists, and the folks who just want something cold and honest after a long day. And yes, they know how to pour a proper Guinness. Settle time. Correct head. No shortcuts. That alone tells you everything you need to know about their priorities. The menu doesn't try to reinvent the wheel or lecture you about provenance. It's bar food done with intention. The street tacos are the kind you order expecting "good enough" and end up wishing you'd ordered two more. Balanced, flavorful, no unnecessary nonsense. The fried cod special? Exactly what it should be--hot, crisp, flaky inside, and served without ego. Comfort food that respects the eater. Prices are fair. Refreshingly fair. The kind of prices that make you relax, order another round, maybe stay longer than planned. That's not an accident--it's hospitality. This is the kind of place that reminds you why local bars matter. Today was a solo mission and I went through the drive thru. I love that this location is very close to me so is much more convenient than trekking over to the silver lake area of town. I had the following kolaches today: ranchero, chicken enchilada and I also ordered a strawberry fruit kolache and cinnamon roll to satisfy the sweet tooth I'll probably have later. Man I have been bad about the carbs and sugar lately but the holidays and we only live once, right? Shoot bring out that sugary, bready goodness! I'm here for it. The ranchero and chicken enchilada kolaches were perfect. The bread is always so soft and fluffy. Ingredients fresh and well seasoned. The drive thru service was swift and the gentleman who helped me was very pleasant and kind. He even offered me a pup cup for my fur child who was with me. NOTE: They do offer free pup cups. I also ordered a regular hot small latte. No flavored syrup just plain. They do have all of the classic options however: vanilla, caramel and mocha. You can also get them iced which is what I typically prefer but I went with hot today. The Kolache Factory was a wonderful treat for me today. Welcome to East Pearland! We're so happy to have you!
