I heard a lot about this place and how good the food would be, so I decided to come here. For sure to say, if you want to come here, best to try to make a reservation online before going because there tends to be a long wait. I didn't wait too long, but waited about 30-40 minutes. I decided to get one of the specials at the time, so I decided to get the Mediterranean "Baked" Eggs. This dish was eggs over easy with a sauce that was supposed to be a Shakshuka-style sauce of tomatoes, onions, and red bell pepper, with grilled chicken, feta and fresh herbs, but the sauce tasted to be almost a watered down marina sauce. The grilled herb ciabatta was a little hard to eat as if it was an old batch of bread, not fresh. Overall, the service was good as the server came to us very soon after we were seated, and always came back to see if my table had needed anything. I've heard about first watch from a lot of people. I kept hearing it's a great place for breakfast. I finally got to go last week. I ordered their crab omelet from their summer menu and it was alright. For drink, I got the summer blush and it was delicious and refreshing but if you don't like sweet drinks it's not for you because it is quite sweet. My friend got their pick 2 for lunch and it came out to only $8 which was a great deal. The salad she got which was honey pecan I believe was amazing, I kept eating off her plate! Ha! I'd go back again just for that salad alone lol. I went to the Pembroke Pines location and was seated right away. My server was attentive and nice. I have visited this location a few times before today. Each time I feel the service has gone down. Today was ridiculous. I ordered Poached Eggs. I had never had them before and decided to give them a try. When they came out, the eggs, Hollandaise sauce, ham and bread beneath were cold, like they came out of the fridge. I asked the server, "I have never ordered this before. Is it supposed to be served hot or cold?" He said that it was most definitely supposed to be hot. He picked up my dish and said he'd have the kitchen remake it. Thirty minutes went by and we hadn't heard anything. When our server eventually came by I asked, "is it coming out soon?" He told me the kitchen dropped it on the floor and they were remaking it. The rest of my party had finished their breakfast and their plates were already cleaned up. It took another 10-15 minutes for my meal to come out. When the server was bringing it out, he dropped one of the two poached eggs on the floor. I told him just serve it because I wanted to get out of there. We had already spent almost two hours at the restaurant. The manager did comp my food, but not until it was dropped in the back kitchen. The manager never came out and talked to us, never apologized or anything. When my meal was served, the iced tea that I had been drinking was all watery (I had stopped drinking it when my food was gone because I was saving it to accompany my meal. Our service wasn't very good and I didn't know if I 'd get a refill). The server should have given my a new tea when he put the plate down just to sort of make things a little better. The portion I did eat was ok. I was really bummed that the other egg has dropped on the floor, because that was the best part. Even though this location is very close to my house, I will not return. The ambiance is perfect for families or catch up with colleagues. I have never been dissappointed with the service and usually order the elevated egg sandwich. However, I met a colleague for breakfast on September 9th and was seated at a table serviced by Jade (like the stone - precious!). She not only catered to our every need, but her suggestion of the Million Dollar Harvest was spot on delicious! Breakfast was just what we were looking for and then some. While the wait can be extensive, getting on the list using their website cuts wait time significantly. Upon arriving to the building, it was easy to locate, but parking was limited and i had to park across to the nearby shopping plaza. the wait to be seated was only 5 min. we had a very friendly waiter who suggested the trifecta. The last time I ate here, the must eat menu item it the million dollar bacon, and trust me it doesn't disappoint. I exchanged the pancakes with a Belgium waffle that was fluffy and tasty, tagged with warmed maple syrup. Overall this place is great. Would have rated four stars, but I was initially seated next to the only other table with people (Rona times, spread it out) so I asked to move. I was told "wherever I like" but it felt like it was out of aggravation. Service was not great, I felt the two waitresses were overworked and they showed it. And this was at 7:30 in the morning. It wasn't particularly busy, I feel they need to know this. Coffee was good, took a while to get the sweetener from them. I was in that area for a meeting and that's why we went to this location, I'd go back if I was in the area, but I'd hope for a slightly better experience. Our waitress greeted us quickly with a pot of coffee and water. We each wanted coffee and they serve it by the pot so that's nice that it sat on our table while we chatted and we could warm it up as needed. Our waitress explained the menu favorites and we ordered the breakfast trifecta and steak & hash special. So far, so good. My husband's food came out first. Another server put his on the table and said "yours will be right out." Then he waited for the syrup because who can eat pancakes without syrup. When the syrup came out it was very hot and without a warning. When our server brought the syrup out she said "They're still working on your food." Alrighty then. At that time a cook came over and apologized and said it was his fault that my food wasn't out. I told him it was alright as I know that mistakes happen. Our entrees came out at least 10 minutes apart... my husband was done eating by the time my food arrived. I didn't take a picture of my food since I was hungry and didn't want to wait to eat, but the food was good. However, the point of enjoying a meal together is eating at the same time not watching the other eat their breakfast as you wait anxiously. That wasn't the worst part... our waitress brought our bill as I was eating and left it on the table and said she comped my breakfast, which was very generous. We put our card out for payment and then she returned to take my plate and said that we pay at the front... no problem until my husband went to pay and the line was out the door. He waited an additional 10+ minutes to pay our bill in a very disorganized line. We tipped the waitress $10 because we felt bad for the situation, but we won't return here as there are many more organized, stress-free breakfast places in the area. First visit, very popular place for breakfast/brunch. We were able to put our name on their waitlist with Yelp which was very convenient. First off very cute place! We went in, checked in asked for a menu to start looking at options. They have a good variety of options from healthy to hearty. We were greeted and had ordered a large sized orange juice and reg sized iced coffee. They provide you with a large serving of water to pour at your own convenience. Orange juice has pulp and their ice coffee is already sweetened so we didn't have to add any extra sugar or creamers. It was actually delicious. We ordered our entrees with our drinks. Luckily because it was quite busy and our server didn't make too many table visits. Started off with their million dollar bacon this was awesome. Then the Carbonara Benedict (specialty item) and I ordered the Farmhouse Hash. We also ordered a side pancake. One chocolate chip and one blueberry. The food took a lonnnnnggggg time. Put it this way. We drank our coffees, oj and water by the time food came out. And there where no time for refills. Also we received dish by dish. So it didn't come out all at once. But I will say the food was absolutely delicious. It was hot and fresh too. Their accompanied jams and fruit where really good too. At checkout they provide you with the check that you take to the front and pay there. Honestly we were rushed. The lady went from card tip and there's the pen in about 10 seconds. I arrived at this location at 11:30am for a late breakfast. When I walked in, all the tables were occupied. I told the person at the register that i just needed a table for one. He suggested I sit at the 'community table.' I thanked him but told him I preferred my own table and that I was willing to wait for the next one that became available. I waited by the registers, as I saw one of the servers cleaning off a recently vacated table. About 5 minutes later, a couple walked in and asked for a table. The same server I had spoken to when I first walked in, proceeded to pass me and seat the couple at the table that had just become available! Needless to say, I was not too happy about being disrespected like that. A few minutes later, another server came over and offered to seat me. I complained to her about what had just happened. She apologized for her co-worker and proceeded to seat me at another table. A word of advice to this location. Just because someone comes in by themselves to eat, doesn't mean they deserve any less respect than those that come in as couples or larger groups. You're getting my money just the same. We where seated and the Irish Saint's sent our server Shannon. A fellow NYer & Long Islander, so I knew we where in good hands. The wait for our food was long & we where so hungry, the kitchen was backed up. Shannon went on her own bringing us whole grain toast & then fruit to hold us over. She is very professional & her customer service & interpersonal skills are a 100% on point. I couldn't have been happier, she was very attentive to our needs & checked on us often. Went in for breakfast at around 8:30 am on December 20, 2024. The double crunch breakfast tacos could have been better: the tomatoes did not appear or taste fresh, as if they had been chopped a few days ago and held in a cooler, same for the carnita meat - it did not appear to be or taste fresh, as if it was cooked days earlier and then defrosted. The restaurant was so cold inside, it made our food get cold very rapidly. Moreover, it was just plain uncomfortable to sit there. The worst thing was the lackadaisical service from the waitress. She was very slow. She took a very long time to come back and ask us if we needed anything else. When she brought me the diet coke I ordered, she didn't even think to ask if I wanted a straw. I had to ask for one when she showed up like 20 minutes later. After I left her a $1.00 tip, this waitress acted very unprofessionally and confronted me about the low tip, demanding to know what she did wrong. She had the temerity to blame her failure to give me a straw for my drink on a "policy" that the restaurant has not to give out straws unless they are asked for. However, there is no signage or other information that would advise customers of this "policy" if it even exists. The staff of this restaurant seems generally unhappy and demoralized. I surmise that the management of this restaurant are a bunch of egotistical martinets who care only about what is convenient for them. The fish rots from the head. First time I visit and the customer service in Zoe broke Pines was 100% the best food, best customer services, best drink. I fall in love with the place. I went on a Saturday for Brunch. Good thing we had the app to reserve out place in line. It was full the day. The inside of the locations is nice. They have community tables and regular tables. Staff in the front was friendly as was our waitress. The prices are a little higher than some of your usual breakfast places. I had the Multigrain pancakes with eggs and bacon. It all tasted delicious and fresh. The food did not take long and we were satisfied with everything. I would recommend and come back to eat breakfast here anytime.
