I'm a huge fan of first watch. Food is always 10/10! So of course hubby and I were excited when we finally got one here in queen creek. Love the queen creek touch on the walls. We were sat rather quickly (weekday) and our server was very nice but could have been more attentive (only reason why I'm giving 4 stars) - another server had to bring us our bill and not once did she check to see if we liked our food or had any questions once food arrived. I've been to First Watch before. The Queen Creek location just opened. I sat at the bar and waited to be greeted by the bartender. Finally I grabbed her attention and asked for a coffee. She dropped an empty mug in front of me and went off to make some drinks. She finally came back and said "There making a fresh pot." That would have been nice to know when I first ordered the coffee. I was almost done eating and she finally asked if everything was ok. I also left her a 25% cash tip... nothing. Not a thank you. Not a thanks for coming. Nothing. On the site of where Panera/Paradise Bakery used to be, the area in front of the restaurant has a fountain which is relaxing. It is also in a covered breezeway which is nice during the hotter months. Inside, the the decor is similar to that of other First Watch locations which has a farmhouse chic kind of flair. I did confirm that since they just opened, they don't yet do a seasonal menu...didn't get a clear answer on when that will change. I do like that you can pay with a QR code on the receipt. The waitress we had was nice, but very busy, so there wasn't that personal, hospitable touch. Asked for my Traditional to be well done and the toast was not, neither was the bacon. I actually sent the bacon back to be cooked more. They actually brought out new bacon which wasn't recently cooked, it was a well done piece from when they cooked it earlier in the morning, so it was well done, but had a hard crunch to it as it had been sitting out for a while. I do like the several types of seating configuration, including bar seating which has big windows that open to the patio. read more

My wife and I ate with another couple on January 11 of 2026. My wife and I both ordered the traditional breakfast when we received it. It really looked good. The only problem is the potatoes and the eggs were cold. We had eaten there a couple of times before and had no problems, but this was not up to par. For debating on going back or not. read more

Normally I really enjoy First Watch but today was rough for the cook. I had ordered the breakfast sandwich and ordered the egg over medium. They brought out my first sandwich and it was hard in the middle, nothing over medium about it. So they brought me another one after 15ish minutes and this one was worse than my first. My son had eggs Benedict and his poached eggs were basically hard boiled eggs. I didn't take a picture of that, but he said he was too hungry to have them remake it. read more

This location is in the Queen Creek marketplace location where the old Panera was. I walked in for breakfast this morning and was good from a wonderful hostess. I noticed they have fully remodeled this whole location. They went above and beyond with a new clean look. The menu has the basic breakfast with a variety of great vegetarian options, which I prefer. Our server, kylie was just excellent and knowledgeable with the menu. The manager, Anna welcomed us so warmly and appreciated our visit. It's so comforting to have a place like this near me. First time trying this restaurant. Everything was nice and clean inside. I ordered the typical American breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage links and toast. Eggs were cooked perfectly, sausages were tasty and quite large. I also tried their "million dollar " potatoes which were good. My daughter ordered a Cobb Salad. I was impressed with the size and appearance of the ingredients. We were fortunate to get the absolute nicest server. She was quick, efficient and took good care of us. Maybe it is just this location, but I have been in 3 times and 2 of those times I have had servers who clearly do not care about the dining experience for guests. I sat at the bar today so that I wouldn't take a table for myself since there was a long wait. It is 50 degrees outside. I ordered and received my food and immediately after she set down my plate, the server opened the patio window. A blast of cold and dust blew everywhere, including on my food. I tried to huddle in the corner so the cold breeze from outside didn't get to my food. Within 2 minutes my hot skillet was ice cold. Needless to say, I did not finish it and when I mentioned my concern to the server, she just said that the windows open at 9 AM and handed me my check without a word. So disappointing. read more

I had the Tri-Fecta, While the Belgian waffle was good, the fried eggs which I specified being over medium the yokes were still runny. The apple sausage patties were okay. We've been to other First Watches in Phoenix and Tucson and they've always been one of our favorite breakfast places. Unfortunately this is not the case for the Queen Creek location. We stopped there in mid morning and there were very few customers and staff there. Service was great and also the server. Food was another story. We ordered 2 pancakes, 1 Belgian waffle and 2 coffees, no sides. While the pancakes were huge they were dry and nothing special. The waffle came with about 2 tablespoons of "fruit compote" and was also dry. The bill came to just under $40 with tip which I find ridiculous. read more

Food was okay, my wife and I got the potatoes. I asked for mine to be a big crispier than hers, but regardless of crispness they just tasted... not great seasoning wise. Also had a pancake that was very large but bland. There aren't really servers here, they feel more just like order takers, so if you don't like full on service then this might be a good fit for you. I was so excited to hear that First Watch was coming to Queen Creek! Now that it's open I have gone twice now since it opened about 3 weeks ago and enjoyed my visit each time . Absolutely delicious coffee , that you can buy bags of to take home by the way , AND the food was delicious! I love the Chicken and Pesto Power Bowl. Fresh and light.
