I am a frequent flyer at First Watch and have been to many of their locations and it has always been A+. My daughter and I were in Dallas for a funeral and stopped in. Our server, Kortabia was amazing. Her energy was contagious and was just pleasant. Too many people are quick to write negative reviews or complain. However, I would like to do the opposite and point out an amazing person that changed the tone with a smile. Kudos to you. Kortabia. Thank you! A++++++

Can never go wrong at First Watch. With amazing service, great ambiance, and delicious food the experience made is always right. Highly recommend to eat here for brunch, but do expect it will take time for food to come out but it will be fresh. Love eating here.

I wanted to have breakfast at First Watch for a second time in a week. Yeah I enjoyed dining at First Watch in Hurst, TX. so much I wanted to find one close in the area that I was in. Normally I get the servers names but this time I neglected to ask her name. I did get the General Manager's name Latisha was very helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. The hostess/greeter was also very sweet as well. The entire staff were in smiles and helping one another out that's definitely what team work is supposed to look like. Our food was a 10/10, my Glam daughter ate all her food I couldn't have been more happy to have seen this.

Very good breakfast this morning with Boss Lady, but I wish I could have said "great breakfast." Although the dishes came out quick and hot. It needs just a few tweaks. My smoked salmon and veg fritatta was good, but whatever white sauce that was streamed on top of it was too much, and my "toast" wasn't. Her BLT benedict was tasty, but the bread was hard to cut, and the potatoes needed more crust and flavor. Our server was super sweet and gave us a cinnamon roll because it was National Kindness Day. We'll definitely try this location again!

If you want a nourishing breakfast, this is the place to go! The food is fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious! I love their lunch options more than breakfast because the portion sizes are just perfect. The tomato basil soup is fantastic with a sandwich. Also the beet orange juice is sp refreshing and it just looks nutritious. Our server was attentive and recommended great choices for my friend. It is always busy since they're opened for lunch and dinner. Despite this, the restrooms and the entire place are very clean. This is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants! You'll enjoy it!

Food was great, my server Joel was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the menu and suggested the million dollar potatoes as a side and they did not disappoint. Overall service and environment was really good!

The Works with creamy grits and toast. Soooo good!

Host, Martinus, greeted me with a friendly smile and lead me to a comfortable, clean table. Restaurant is busy and music playing makes for enjoyable breakfast. Tena greeted me with friendly smile and fresh cup coffee. Continued with great service throughout my meal. The Works, yummy bacon, onions, ham, sausage, mushrooms, fluffy eggs, and dollop of sour cream hits the spot. So good! With creamy grits on the side, this just adds to the goodness of this breakfast. Grabbed a drink for on the way home, The Meditation with a shit of vitamins. I ordered to go, The Barbados Quesadilla Benedict, for a late lunch or early dinner. Can't wait to try this. Was told this is the last week to order, so glad I snatched this menu item. Gotta eat at The Watch! So good!

    Farmhouse Skillet Hash

Definitely a great breakfast spot! I got the Farmhouse Skillet Hash which is served with two cage-free eggs any way you want on top of fresh, seasoned potatoes. It comes with whole grain artisan toast with all-natural house preserves. There's three different skillet hash options and the Farmhouse one comes with bacon, avocado, house-roasted onions and tomatoes with Cheddar and Monterey Jack. My friend got the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl and we shared the Million Dollar Bacon. Also tried the Morning Meditation juice which has orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. Everything tasted so fresh and healthy. Service was fast, everyone was super friendly, and when you're done, you pay up front. This is for sure a spot I'll be visiting again.

Betty waited on our table. She had such good energy and was super knowledgeable about the menu. I'd like to come back and request her specifically. My husband had the smoked shrimp and grits and I had the smoked fried chicken with lemon mashed potatoes and street corn. Both were excellent! I'm not in this area of Dallas often, but I will make it a point to come back. I forgot to mention my cocktail! I had the Honey Bourbon Limoncello and boy was it good. The highlight of the night was easily our server, truly one of the best I've ever had. Friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. If the review were based on service alone, it would be five stars. We started with the chicken nachos, which were fresh and actually pretty good. For entrees, we ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Unfortunately, the chicken fried steak was very bland and tasted like it was missing seasoning altogether. The sides were okay, but nothing memorable. We also tried the rib plate with corn and mashed potatoes. Again, it was edible, but the flavors just didn't pop, everything felt like it needed more seasoning or a stronger profile to stand out. The staff was great across the board, but the food just didn't match the level of service. Not the worst experience, but definitely not the best food wise.

First up, the pirogies--holy moly, these little pockets of joy were just unreal. Perfectly soft, stuffed to the brim, and fried up just right. I'm pretty sure if my tasted these, she'd give a polite nod and say, "Not bad, eh?" Then came the pot roast poutine, and let me tell ya--this isn't just food, it's a life experience. You've got those crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds (as they should be, eh!), and gravy so rich it could probably pay rent in Toronto. And then--BAM--tender pot roast on top. I nearly stood up and sang "O Canada," no joke. Now the Canadian Eggs Benedict? Ohhh, beauty. The peameal bacon was thick, juicy, and cooked just right, sittin' pretty under those poached eggs with hollandaise sauce that was smoother than a fresh sheet of ice. Absolute perfection, eh. And don't even get me started on the everyday breakfast. Classic, hearty, and no funny business--just how we like it. Eggs done right, toast that actually tastes like toast (imagine that!), and portions big enough to fuel ya through a full day of shovelin' snow... or, you know, strolling around Dallas. All in all, Maple Leaf Diner absolutely crushed it. Let me tell ya, the service was so fast and smooth, I thought I was dreaming eh. Great food, friendly vibes, and enough Canadian charm to make ya wanna say "sorry" when someone else bumps into you. 10/10, would recommend--now pass the syrup, eh?

It's a cool restaurant that has a lot of seating, and cool decor with Guitars displayed on the wall and a small stage for performers. We walked up to where you order. It was counter service and the guy that took our order was laid back. We paid, he gave us a number and then we chose a place to sit and waited for our food. We ordered several items to share. We started off with a charcuterie board that had meats, cheeses, nuts, fruit, and toasted bread. It was really good. The bread was able to hold the ingredients and was nice and crispy but not overly crispy. The meats were good and the different cheeses were flavorful with different textures. The fruit was fresh and the nuts were a nice crunchy addition. Very yummy start. We also shared the Tejas Nachos with Brisket. The Nachos come with tortilla chips covered in cheese, queso, jalapenos, tomatoes, and crema. They were okay. The Brisket was plentiful. There was a lot of cheese and queso spread out all over the nachos. It was a little too much. The chips got soggier the closer you got to the bottom of the pile. Our last shared item was the ZZ Top BBQ Flatbread. It was okay. It came with an overabundance of cheese. It also came with jalapenos, BBQ sauce, and we ordered it with Chicken. It was okay. The cheese was gooey but overwhelming. The jalapenos added a spicy flavor and the BBQ sauce was tasty. Overall the restaurant has a cool atmosphere with good service. The counter service, ordering and paying process was quick and easy. Everytime someone brought our food to us they were friendly. The food was okay and literally very cheesy.

My husband got the H.L. Hunt and really enjoyed the candied bacon. Our son had the Royale with Cheese and it filled him up so much that he didn't even touch fries--and he loves fries, so that says a lot. Speaking of fries, the order was HUGE--easily enough for 5-6 people. If we come back, I'd definitely dig into those first while the cheese is still warm and gooey. By the time we got to them after our burgers, everything had kind of stuck together. Overall, a fun, casual spot with solid burgers and massive portions--just plan for a slower-paced experience.
