We hit this spot on our way home from San Diego, and it easily became one of our favorite finds of the trip. We each built a customized regular Poke Bowl, and everything was spot-on. The fish was incredibly fresh and served in a very generous portion, the toppings were crisp, and the sauces were delicious. The bowls are a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it and spot-on for a tourist area. The service was seamless and quick, and the vibe inside is funky and modern with plenty of picnic-table-style seating that could accommodate any size group. I wanted to love this place because it looks nice, clean and that is something that worries me every time I am in PB, that many restaurants look dirty. This one is not and there is a pleasant vibe to it. However, I was disappointed with my poke bowl. It had no flavor, even I asked for the spicy sauce. It says sushi rice but the consistency and lack of glue looked like regular white rice to me. My bowl was a lot of rice and little amount of fish. Delicious fresh poke. My daughter and I each ordered a regular bowl which comes with three scoops of fish. Their white rice isn't just white rice, it is sushi rice and it is so good. My bowl had two scoops of the Hawaiian Poke and one scoops of salmon. My daughter had three scoops of the Hawaiian Poke. The fish was super fresh and the toppings (while a bit scarce) were fresh and tasty too. The place is cute and less than a block from the beach so you definitely have that beachy vibe. Service was friendly and quick. They get the line through fast. They also offer a good selection of sushi and dishes from the kitchen (teriyaki chicken, etc). It was still super fast ordering but there was no line and ordering via the app wasn't necessary). Even though this place is known for their poke, I wanted to try their speciality salmon sushi. The first time I went, the Salmon Carpaccio was great though the Salmon Lover roll was alright to me. I came back again today to try their Smokey Salmon roll without cream cheese, to which I enjoyed much more. The times that I visited this place were during my lunch breaks, so I really appreciate the timely manner in delivering good quality sushi. Just an FYI, the poke bowls aren't "Hawaiian" style in the way where it's just poke and rice, but F&T offers a lot of toppings and relies on the sauce. Really solid poke spot. The vibe is chill, it's super clean inside, and only about a 2-minute walk from the beach. Perfect location if you're hungry after hanging out near the water. I got the large bowl which comes with 5 proteins. I went with 3 tuna, 1 salmon, and 2 spicy salmon. The 6th scoop was extra, but I was hungry and it was worth it. You can pick two bases but I kept it simple with just sushi rice so I could track my macros easier. For toppings, I did green onion, edamame, cilantro, and two scoops of seaweed salad. The second scoop of seaweed was also an extra charge, but again, no regrets. They let you grab one of each regular topping without charging extra which is rare and honestly appreciated. I also grabbed a Diet Coke and a side of white rice for my kid. Total was $34.36 after adding a tip. The bowl was legit. Super fresh and good portions. The tables even have little games on them. We had Connect 4 and my kid was entertained the whole time. Bathrooms were clean too which is always a good sign. Definitely would come back. Note: a few items on their hot menu can take some time to prepare, so if you're coming with a group keep this in mind! There's lots of seating, good enough for larger groups or smaller groups. I got the regular bowl with 2 scoops of spicy salmon and 1 scoop of F&T mix, which is premarinated ahi tuna and salmon in a spicy and savory sauce. The F&T mix was so good! I wish I had 2 scoops instead. The spicy salmon was good, but the F&T mix just had that extra spice kick. Together with all the toppings and sauces, it was just incredible.
