However, you have to have an acquired taste in order to enjoy and crave their food because it's not appetizing to an average person who doesn't eat... this type of healthy lol. Want to eat healthy around Lenox? Look no further than Flower Child. Both my coworker and I wanted something that wasn't heavy and/or greasy so after a little research we ended up here. It was my first time here and it made a good impression. It was busy but the line moved quickly and efficiently. They have a large menu of healthy options to choose from. It wasn't hard to find something that sounded appetizing. I decided on the "forbidden" rice bowl and found it to be pretty darn good. My only real gripe is that you are certainly paying a premium to eat healthily. Prices are on the high side even factoring in that the food is healthy and that you're in the middle of Buckhead. After tipping and adding chicken to my bowl (it doesn't come with a protein) I ended up paying $16. If you decided to get a drink or a more expensive protein you couldn't easily spend $20. Now, it's good, don't get me wrong. But there are significantly cheaper options in the area for something healthy and tasty. I'll probably end up back here at some point. Flower Child has locations in a number of cities. I have also been to their location in Austin, TX. This one is near Lenox Mall, which is very convenient. I have not been in a long time, but I remember how amazing my meal was when I did. My personal favorite is definitely the sweet potato side. The macaroni & cheese can be a little dry and not as seasoned, but likely because they are made healthier than typical mac 'n cheese. Their salads and vegetables are also delicious. Run don't walk to this place. I've been vegan for 3.5 years and Flower Child is my most favorite place that I have found unexpectedly. I really fell in love that the food is built from fresh vegetables rather than alternative meats. My food was so fresh and full flavor. I really wish that I had one of these near me in Orlando. The prices were very good and the portion was just what I needed. Not too much, but not skimpy. I usually like to have a glass of bubbly with my lunch or dinner and they had two to choose from. The people were cool, the vibe was chill and the ambience girly and bright. They have a nice patio area with umbrellas where you can sit among nicely potted flowers, but it was a scorcher this weekend so the cool air on the inside was a retreat. I immediately fell in love with everything about this restaurant and not just because the decor is in my favorite color (green ). It's such a cute, bright, and happy place with so many yummy sounding items on their menu. I wish I knew about this place sooner but I don't really visit the Buckhead area that often. I'm praying that we get a location in East Atlanta or Midtown area because the food was absolutely amazing. On a Sunday at 1pm there was a line out the door but the restaurant crew had a very efficient process, they went through the line asking for party size and then assigned you a table. The cashiers processed the orders very quickly and although there was a line, I didn't feel rushed when I had a few questions to ask. So you order your food at the register when you walk in (there's a menu above the registers, to the right on a wall and you also have a paper option) then take your seat and wait for a server to bring you your food. Although it was a very busy sunday, I received my food in a decent length of time with a smile. The restaurant is colorfully and beautifully decorated that it was hard and pretty impossible to not scan every area and take everything in. I just felt so happy! Food: -I started with crushed avocado toast with no egg. Avocado, sesame seasoning and white cheddar cheese were perfect, I only wished the toast was a little more crispy (toasted). $8 -I had cinnamon tea with no sweetener and it wasn't needed, the loose leaf tea was the perfect beverage for a cold day. $3.50 - Entree included a plate with 3 items $10: sichuan green beans, roasted butternut squash, and indian spiced cauliflower. Flower Child is like the hipper version of Panera, but they have way more options at Flower Child (and wayyy healthier than Panera). The interior is very spacious - I would have dined in if it wasn't for some patrons not wearing their mask while entering the store. :( All of the workers wore masks though, so if it wasn't so busy I would have felt comfortable dining in. Flower Child has an open kitchen concept, so you can watch the workers make the food while you wait. Parking is easy - there's a huge lot and its right next to Lenox Mall. I went on a weekday, so it was easy to find parking, but it does get more crowded on the weekends. They package everything in sustainable packaging and everything was packaged neatly. For some reason they only included one set of utensils even though we ordered two entrees, so that was kind of weird but not a big deal because we just took it home to eat. I ordered the turkey lasagna - the "noodles" are actually made with zucchini (so less carbs!), so it was still delicious and surprisingly very filing. I'm glad I finally got to try Flower Child after having it bookmarked for a while - I heard the sandwiches were good here, so I think I'll have to try that next time along with their kombucha on tap. read more

Pros: cute ambiance, excellent customer service. I asked for no cucumbers on my salad and the server asked for confirmation it was not an allergy. Being a nurse and having a boyfriend with a severe nut allergy, I always appreciate when a restaurant goes out of their way to take that safety measure. My salmon was really good and in theory the salad probably would have been too had it been dressed appropriately. Cons: salad was so overdressed I couldn't eat half of it. The space is also very, very loud. I was catching up with a girlfriend from college and found myself screaming to make sure she could hear me and we didn't sit down until 1:45pm so on the later end of the lunch crowd. Ultimately, $17 for an overpriced salad just doesn't cut it for me, particularly given this a Panera style dining option where you order at the entrance and they give you a number to take to your table. read more

Easy to find accessible park. The restaurant also has tons of seating inside and outside. You can also get a private table or space if you have a group of 10 or more. The menu is a bit of a build it model with wraps, salads, and harvest bowls ranging $7-9. Then you can add protein - chicken, shrimp, and salmon for $5-9. The market bowl is the best! They also have kombucha, iced teas, juices, beer, and wine. I think it's slightly pricey for a fast casual place but the food quality is great, and it's in a fun location. read more

What an adorable place! We went on a Sunday, about 11, and easily got our pick of tables in the spacious, cheery dining room. It definitely filled up by the time we left an hour or so later. I am a sucker for avocado whether it's on trend or not, and the thick multi grain toast with avo, soft boiled egg, and shredded white cheddar was delicious. Plenty for each of us as a meal. There are tons of options including all kinds of make your own salad, sandwich, etc option. Located at the Shops around Lenox, it's a convenient location for the working Buckhead professional or the non-working shopper. I'll have to say, this is the perfect location - every basic b**** on a health craze will be here. It's definitely a little similar to True Food Kitchen, but without the sit-down and order experience. There was a slight line at the register, even at 12:45pm. They provided fruit/cucumber infused water for while we waited, which was a nice touch! I'm glad for the extra time because I kept wavering back and forth between a couple of options on the menu. You can choose from some of their sides, a salad or a bowl. I asked the girl manning the register and she recommended the skinny Cobb ($8) and I added the grass-fed steak ($6) to it. Another worker asked for our seating preferences and got us 4 seats at the bar, since there were no more tables available inside for 4. The patio just looked way too hot to be sitting at today. Our food was fantastic! The vegetables were fresh and crisp and perfectly dressed. The steak was borderline dry, but it WAS cooked medium as promised on the menu board. Not my favorite cook temperature, but the seasoning was spot on. My coworker Tanesha A. got salmon on her forbidden rice bowl and it looked and smelled delicious (mental note for next time). Overall, yes, it's a little pricey - you have to pay to eat healthy these days (#thankswholefoods)... But the food is fresh and tasty and I am not falling asleep (yet) at work afterward. It replaced the American Apparel and the plaza itself has been updated with new stores like West Elm and added murals that it became a bit hipsterish. Flower Child has a huge presence in the plaza as it is located smack in the middle. Colorful and chic patio seating is very inviting as well as the bright indoor seating. Once you walk in, you order and pay for your food and have a seat. Staff will bring you the food based on the order # and they do have a separate line for to-go orders. I've tried the Vegan ingredient salad with Chicken added. At first I was surprised that it was salty and tried my friend's orders and noticed that they garnish all salads with sea salt. It wasn't to the degree that I couldn't eat it but did feel like it was a bit on the heavy side. Overall, the salad was good and chicken was moist and tender. I also picked on my husband's mother earth plate with beef and it was hearty yet healthy that it was delicious. Friend had the turkey wrap, which was recommended by the staff as a popular dish, but it was just ok for me. Overall, if you're in the mood for a healthy meal, this is the place for you. Mother of Earth! Why isn't there one of these in midtown?! With the exception of no soft drinks (I've know they are the devil) and no fizzy alternative, this place is a hole run. There's a Warm interior, with a sort of a country home feel. The staff was quick to tell me all the favorites when I asked and I ended up getting the Mother Earth Bowl with a flower child water in aluminum, they said they donate some proceeds to ocean plastic clean up, win win. Let's talk about this bowl. Fresh and bright on one side, and earthy and grounded on the other; a great blend of sweet potatoes, onions and mushrooms paired with a pesto, greens and fresh avocado. This dish is a home run and I can see myself coming all the way back to get it again. Mind the parking, I came to go to lululemon and heard for dinner, but I popped over to the mall to see if a friend wanted to join me, in the seven minutes that took I was booted! Stopped in Flower Child for the first time on a Friday for a late lunch with a friend. Nestled next to Lenox Mall, there is ample parking with a ton of cute shops surrounding the restaurant. All employees were wearing masks and they had a great amount of outdoor seating, which are a must in this Covid environment. Service was good and quick. The food was truly the best part of a great experience. I ordered the Game Dre Meal, which came with salmon, smashed sweet potatoes, and mac and cheese. Everything was flavorful and portioned well. It was so tasty that I forgot it was also healthy! If you're looking for a light but yummy meal, I'd definitely come here and try the variety of bowls, wraps, and salads.
