9:30PM is the last reservation you can make. We made a reservation at 9:00PM and arrived at 9:12PM. Understanding we are late, I did not mind leaving if they are closing up. No special occasions, either. The servers/employees are already giving us weird looks, visibly upset to the point we can hear one of the ladies discuss about how late we've arrived. Our server (diogo) from the start was off putting and made it extremely uncomfortable by not voicing if we need anything and prefers a stare down. The ONLY person who made us feel welcomed was Liliana. I apologized to her for arriving late while a party of 6 was being seated behind us (Shortly leaving for some odd reason). I would give this place a 1 if it wasn't for Liliana reassuring us. I still tipped nearly 40% hoping it goes directly to her. Deserved every dollar, if not more. In terms of food, solid 8/10. A little dry, tad bit salty. Definitely a fan of the cheesy bread. Unbeknownst to me, i was charged $44 per person even though i put the special request on the reservation for the $39 taste of Brazil. Would have like to use that extra money to tip additionally if it went to her instead of our server who didn't do jack. Maybe I'll stick to Flemings across the street. At least I haven't had a bad experience with them having late night reservations. Do better. read more

ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR. The drinks were actually pretty good except the mint one. I only got $9 happy hour drinks but they were delicious. I tried all 5 of them cause of my friends. Besides the minty one, I would consider all of them again. As for the brunch, I think it's not for $49 per person. I don't think any of them really stand out for me but surprisingly and I usually don't say this but I actually thought the chicken was pretty delicious. The other stuff were pretty standard. My least favorite might have been the cheese pork one. I like the salad selection a lot and that's definitely a +++ for Fogo De chao. WIth that said, the reason why I gave it a 3 was because the service was very very slow. We actually had to ask the waiters(/different ones too) 3-4 times for sauces and please give us more cheese bread. It's not that they weren't friendly...but when you had to ask 3-4 times for sauces and cheese bread that many times each....it's an actual problem. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back especially for their ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR. Pretty damn nice.......that happy hour............as for the brunch selection of meat..it was ok. I'm sure the dinner one would provide better and higher quality ones. read more

I am currently sitting here at a Friday evening rush dinner service. I had first reserved for a party of three. First off the hostesses says that we can either choose to sit in the corner or the front near the entrance where guests are constantly talking and shouting next to us. When we first sat down not a single waiter or waitress even presented the menu or asked for drink orders. After sitting here for over 50 minutes, we have received three orders of sausage, one of each lamb, and basically the same sirloin or bacon wrapped sirloin. We have ordered and requested meat but to no avail. Out of all the Fogo de Chao in fact out of 10+ Brazilian steakhouses that I've been to including the location in downtown LA, Beverly Hills, and Irvine this is the worst service i have ever experienced. I'm not sure if the standards of Brazilian steakhouse from Fogo has fallen so low or is it an off day. It's particular funny to see only half the menu in an hour. At the moment we have placed orders with our server but once again it has not been successful. This experience has been a tremendous disappointment and I will likely never visit any of the Fogo branches or recommend it to anyone. read more

My family went here on Jan 1 for an early dinner. We did not have reservations but were seated within 15 minutes. We decided on the Full Churrasco which was the all you can eat for $75 per person. We were seated in the main room where one side of the table was couch seating. First off, those couch seats need to be updated because I sunk. I needed a pillow to sit on just so I can be level with the table. Shortly after being seated and served with the appetizers, the restaurant was getting full and a crowd, waiting to get seated, was forming. At this point, we got food from the salad bar and waiting for our first meat serving... this is when our experience went downhill. The gauchos were far in between especially those bringing the picanha, our favorite. Whenever we did get picanha, it wasn't cooked right. It was either over cooked or too red. We like our picanha with a little bit of fat, but we had cuts that had way too much fat. We tried other meats like the bottom sirloin, beef wrapped bacon, chicken wrapped bacon, parmesan beef and pork, lamb, filet mignon and beef rib. Unfortunately, all were quite dry from being over cooked. And I gotta say, we only got to have one serving of filet mignon and beef ribs! And we only got those serving towards the end of dinner after asking for it multiple times. Bottom line, I expected better cooked meats and better service for $75 per person. We left there feeling it wasn't worth it. Our experience showed that we only paid for the name of the restaurant and not for the taste and quality of their food. I believe the slow service was due to being short staffed especially during Rose Bowl. But that goes to show what kind of staff planning they made because its not like they are new to the location or to Rose Bowl. Maybe its just this location, but I would think really hard before going back. read more

I'm writing this review after my second time coming to this place. My first time was a month after their opening. My second time was just a few days ago from the time of me writing this review. I had reservations for both times so there was no wait. There is also no parking validation since their building is not connected to the plaza. Both times I had the churrasco experience which includes grabbing food from the salad bar. My favorite cuts were the picanha, ribeye, pork ribs, and filet mignon. I did try at least one of each cut of meat and they were all very good. I specifically only took the meats when they were cooked to medium rare or medium. I loved that they also gave fried plantains, some fried rice cake?, and the spherical breads. They were all very delicious and was a nice break from the constant meat eating. Overall, the food and service was exceptional both times. I also loved how open and spacious the dining area was, unlike many other restaurants where it feels too packed. Fogo de Chao almost always hits. Always end up eating way too much meat. The salad bar is alway high quality fruits and pickled vegetables. Love the dragon fruit, roasted garlic and artichokes. The servers are constantly walking around bringing you different cuts of meat. We love the chimichurri sauce. The Brazilian bread and the garlic mash potatoes they bring you is always a favorite.
