This place is my absolute favorite when I'm craving legit Cantonese seafood. The fish, crab, you name it, it's always fresh and cooked perfectly, just like luxury seafood restaurants in Guangzhou, China. I swear, every bite takes me back to family dinners. It's also a perfect spot for big groups (they have a karaoke machine). We've rolled up with over 10 people, and they took care of us with huge portions, lazy Susans spinning, no stress. And if you speak Cantonese, chat up the aunties! They're hilarious and will probably tease you while recommending the best/freshest dishes. 100% my comfort-food go-to in Seattle when I visit.

Felt hungry at 8:50pm and despite them closing at 9pm, they were able to accommodate our order and get the food out hot and ready within 10 minutes! We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Chinese Broccoli, Wonton Soup, and Crispy Noodles. They were all solid, except the wonton soup was below average. Would recommend pairing an extra bowl of rice to-go with the Kung Pao chicken. We hesitated to order from here because of the reviews on Yelp but honestly not bad! Does the job when you're looking for standard Chinese food.

Food here is pretty good, also their waitress/servers has always been very nice to me. They also got some dishes that other places don't. Like the beef innards, I haven't found any other places in Seattle that sells that, and they make that really good too~ Their dim sum is also really good, but make sure you go early cause it's more fresh, they stop making them probably around 2-3pm. Should definitely give this place a try!

This appetizer is very good- it's called rice noodle with spareribs. The other picture is rice noodles.

Good food, great variety on the menu. Try the Shanghai style pork noodles. We have not been to the restaurant; we have only gotten delivery.

For most people, I feel that we find a Chinese restaurant and if we like it, we commit forever. I haven't had Fortune Garden and felt adventurous, was not disappointed in taste though I'd be interested in comparing value across the shops in Chinatown. They have some nice lunch combos, but sucks that they don't provide soup for takeout. Could substitute with a rice or something! Honey Walnuts Prawns - honey walnut shrimp is such a classic, easily one of my favorites from childhood and still near the top of my list. I don't know if it's the takeout container, but the quantity with respect the box was disappointing. Felt like there was less shrimp and walnuts compared to what I'm used to, but I think I also pay closer to $22-25 for the dish (the one here was $20). Minced Pork with Green Bean - now this was a hefty box, lots of green beans tossed with the classic XO sauce and a solid amount of pork. Honestly not much to comment on, this was a hearty dish and very comforting. Would recommend for green bean or string bean lovers.

The Chinese name, 全記麵家, has little to do with the name Mike, but is nevertheless an excellent choice for anyone in the area. The staff is very Cantonese through and through. It is a cash only establishment and their menu is heavy on the noodles, be it in soup form or dry. There isn't a ton of room for large groups, but the turnover is quick and thus the weights are usually quite minimal. Service is very good overall and super friendly. I would highly not recommend using their bathroom, as it's tiny, cramped, and not in the best condition. The noodle soups vary from wonton noodles to fishballs. They also specialize in beef brisket and fishballs, making this feel like a bit of a Hong Kong style cafe. Most of the soups average out to be $14-16, depending on size. It's a joy to watch them assemble the bowls in lightning quick fashion. Wontons are excellent. They're plump with just enough skin for texture and are complemented by a fragrant soup and very little skimpage on the noodle (#1). The large dumpling (aka "sui kau") is an excellent wonton alternative for those looking for similar textures. The beef brisket is tender and they also have a dedicated section for just congee. There aren't a lot of places like Mike's anymore, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second for an opportunity to come back. In fact, I'll make sure it's part of the Seattle rotation (#2) for whenever I'm back. __________ (#1) Read: very good portions. (#2) Unless of course, I'm on my way to Vancouver BC.

We got the preserved meat clay pot rice, salt and pepper fried fish filet, and beef brisket and wonton noodle soup. The clay pot rice was okay - the pricing is fair but the execution could be a bit better. I felt like the rice was a bit lacking in flavor, and they only have the standard soy sauce, not the ones in a sauce tray that is usually a bit sweeter. The salt and pepper fried fish filet was good - definitely recommend that for the taste and value. The noodle soup was also good - the wontons were okay but I loved the beef brisket. Noodles seem to be handmade as the texture is a bit uneven, but I appreciate these types of noodles more. This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. There are so many other items on the menu that I'm eager to try, so I will definitely be back.

H Bistro 3.8/5…read more Food - 3.8/5 Quality: 3/5 Portion sizes: 5/5 Flavor: 3.5/5 We ordered the staples like chow mein, house fried rice, angus beef, and my personal favorite: the honey walnut prawns. To start, the portion sizes are amazing. When I saw the waiter pull out a whole vat of fried rice, I was already nodding in approval. They're big and make you feel like you're getting your money's worth. The quality of the food I would say is slightly better than average. While the fried rice and noodles were great, the shrimp used for the honey walnut prawns had that rubbery/synthetic mouth-feel, so docked off some points for that. Taste-wise, the noodles and rice were pretty light and a bit bland, which makes sense why the soy sauce tasted extra salty. Use it as a good counterbalance. I doused that rice in soy sauce and sriracha because it was me, but if you're not a fan of bold flavors and are looking to lose weight (but still love fried rice), it may be more up your alley. Honey walnut prawns were buss (not minding the texture thing), and the angus beef was seasoned to perfection. I'll take 3 more plates of that angus beef if not for the fact that my dish was 1 part beef and 3 parts zucchini. Would've preferred more beef for a dish that was 23 bucks. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the zucchini dish with a side of beef. Water tasted like tea and and not the other way around. Service - 4.3/5 Hospitality - 4/5 Speed - 4/5 Wait times - 5/5 Nothing too remarkable here. It's a family owned restaurant so the vibes were very homey. We got seated right away because we were loitering outside the door before the open sign turned on. Wait times were fine. It took roughly 15 mins for everything to be pushed out, with the fried rice being the first dish to land on our table. Hospitality was average. The waiter checked in on us a few times and asked if we needed refills for our water, but that's about it. I enjoyed saying hi to the occasional kid who popped in the shop. Design - 3.25/5 Interior: 4/5 Exterior: 2/5 Neighborhood: 3/5 Amenities: 4/5 Outside is mid, but the inside is lit with decorations and fun lights. Again, very homey and easy to navigate around the place. Neighborhood is the CID which can be shady at night, but we went during the daytime so it was chill. Just look over your shoulder every once in a while and carry pepper spray. Bonus points because the trip to the bathrooms didn't feel like going to the backrooms. Overall, food was semi-buss, waiter said hi, I didn't get jumped, the inside wasn't a liminal space, and the bathrooms wasn't a trip to the backrooms. 7.6/10.

Then came the Xiao Long Bao--delicately steamed, filled with luscious juices and a lovely little morsel of pork hiding inside. One bite and careful, darling... don't spill the treasure! The Peanut Chiu Chow Dumpling, Hong Kong Bistro style, was another delightful surprise--steamed, nutty and packed with wonderful flavor.
