We started our day drinking adventures here at Ford's Garage. It was a very busy Saturday for them but they were organized about checking in guests until a table was ready. We waited about 20 min Sind ethers was no room at the bar. We started off with the spiked frozen lemonades because Texas summers are HOT. They are available in assorted flavors, try the strawberry! After watching the servers walk by with delicious looking food, food was a must. The onion ring tower was my favorite, the chipotle ketchup made them taste better and I don't even like ketchup! I had the Nashville hot wings, a little crispier than I prefer but definitely spicy! Someone else ordered the brisket & cheese sandwich that they raved about. Oh and those burgers looked great! It wasn't until after I ordered that I saw they offer Gluten Free Buns for the burger. That changes everything !! Cute place for the experience. I ordered a chicken burger. It wasn't spectacular but they have a great assortment of food. A tad bit overpriced. Waiters were really nice. Came here for lunch after watching a movie. It's decorated so cute with the cars and gear and Ford memorabilia. Went on a Saturday night. I liked the food and variety on the menu. Wait was not too long. automotive flair throughout provides a nice theme. Service could have been better, but it wasn't terrible. I sat at the bar, which has an old-time Ford Model A on display and provides a band of frost all the way around on which to set your drink to keep it cold. I ordered the Sweet Heat Burger. Apparently it's a special burger that's a limited time menu item. I appreciated that the bartender asked how I wanted my burger cooked and if everything on it was ok with me. The burger came out pretty quick and was a brilliant combination of flavors. It was big but held together nicely and didn't become a mess, which is not always the case in my experience. The fries were hot & fresh with a tasty seasoning. The ambience is really unique & fun. All kinds of Ford memorabila on display and the napkins are literallly shop rags. First time at Ford's Garage. Marvin - one of the managers - seated us swiftly. The restaurant was not busy at the time we arrived. Meadow - our server, greeted us promptly and took our order (fried pickle spears, fish n' chips and BBQ pulled pork mac n' cheese). The food was INCREDIBLE. The portions were fantastic (the fish would have been enough for two). Meadow continued to check on us, refilled water and brought us another round of drinks. The restaurant turned busy about half way through our meal and it was phenomenal to see how well the team worked together. The bussers were on top - no dirty table for more that 2-3 minutes after guests left (if even that). I finally went back here with my roommate to see if they changed anything. I started off with the Ford's Classic Wings $15.50 Buffalo, with ranch. The wing sauce had good flavor but the outside is not crispy at all. I do not remember the exact number of wings but seemed like a good amount. The texture was soggy and mushy, not sure if they oven bake their wings or fry them but not to my liking. She got the Cheese Curbs $11.99, which were okay, the sauce was good flavor wise but very runny. I went with the Estate Burger $15.99 this time, cooked Medium. The burger patty is still juicy but they still put the greens on the bottom which wilts them since it is such a heavy and juicy patty. The marmalade was also overpowering since it was so sweet. Our service was pretty good but I really am not sure I would go back. The issues I had the first time still seem to be a problem and the food for the cost just is not worth it to me. read more

I think we got 8 pieces for around $14 which I found to be kind of ridiculous but man was it delicious so I couldn't be that upset . I ordered their seasonal burger and I hate that I can't remember the name of it because it was amazing. It has this onion marmalade that I absolutely loved. The burger was huge and cooked perfectly. Awful service and had to leave. My husband had a few friends coming in from out of town, it was his friends birthday and wanted to take them to Fords for a great experience and food, but it was anything but that. I called around noon to set a reservation for a large group. I specifically had asked if they would be playing the UFC fight (it was not pay per view) and the gentleman that answered the phone put me on hold to ask his manager if it would be on as he was unsure. He reassured me that they would have it on and even stated that if it wasn't on they could put it on if requested where they would be seated. I asked and reiterated multiple times to make sure as his friends specifically wanted to watch the fights that night and we decided to go to Fords based on the assumption that it would be on. My husband and his friends showed up to their reservation where they were greeted and seated by the hostess. They asked her if the fights were on as they didn't see it was playing. She said "No we typically don't play those on the TVs". So my husband asked for the manager whom came out and was extremely rude. She said we must have called the wrong place and said "Yeah. We're not going to do to that for you." then questioned who we had talked to. They ended up leaving and finding somewhere else to dine and watch the fights. Super disappointed when promised something and not only does it not follow through but is also followed by rude and unprofessional behavior. read more

Finally able to make it to Ford's Garage in Plano. Heard good things so had to put their burgers to the challenge. The place was rather empty at 4:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. The place was clean and great to see all the car details throughout the restaurant. We were promptly seated in a 2 person booth but appreciated that it was away from the bar area and able to see it all. It took the server a while to come and greet but once he did, he tended to hover around making sure everything was okay. So we ordered a Mushroom Swiss and the popular Estate Burger. I decided to go with sweet potato tots instead of fries. Well here's what we thought: - my fiancé asked for medium well but got a medium rare patty - I asked for medium rare but mine was more medium although I can't fault the kitchen for that. - both burger patties lacked seasoning and any flavor - both hamburger flavors came from the sauces. The sweet onion marmalade and bacon aioli on the estate are good!! - both cheeses, the Swiss and smoked Gouda were bland and the kitchen didn't even bother melting the them. All in all I have had better burgers in Dallas. Such a shame. As we had time to kill we opted for dessert, a key lime pie. This was good and the key lime custard wasn't too tart. Oh and a quick visit to the restroom to find a novel way to relieve oneself into a cut open beer keg. Might prove challenging for anyone taller than my 6'1 stature!
