My expectations were too high. Brisket Burnt End Melt was okay, but nothing special. Lacked smoke and sauce was a miss. Needs more punch. Tater tots were good, but 30 more seconds in the fryer would have put the perfect crisp on em. I'll go back as service was on point and way too many other dishes to try. read more

It was my dad's 70th birthday and we wanted to take him somewhere unique. A car club was parked outside on arrival, so there was much to see. Burgers are their specialty, so I would say go for it!! Onion ring tower is a must if you like onion rings. For the birthday celebration, they blow and old time car horn and come out and sing and give a dessert. Food was great and atmosphere was fun. It was a dark and stormy day...but we ate here anyway. I'm a Ford guy, so I had to try FGs at least once. The ambiance is impeccable; as a novice gearhead the decor is great! The food was fine but not what I was expected with such a limited menu. Most joints that have a small menu usually do everything well. I had the meat loaf (always a gamble), and the Mrs had their classic hamburger. We didn't experience the bar, which looks impressive. We stopped in here for lunch and the decor and atmosphere is so fun. Make sure you check out the bathroom so you can see the fun tire sinks and gasoline fuel pump nozzle. We sat at the bar to eat and they have a strip of ice in front of every seat that you can sit your cold glass on. Great idea! Our servers were Erica and Ben and they were helpful w menu suggestions and delivered good service. We split the American Standard burger with fries. Ambiance was very inviting and place was decorated with an old school, vintage car feel, always love a good themed restaurant especially when it's cars! We went within the first couple weeks of opening and even though they were working kinks out, you'd have never known it. Ford's Garage is a fun place with pretty decent food. It has a fun vibe and feel to it, like you are eating in a Ford Garage back in the 40's. Is it gimmicky? Maybe a little but they back up the gimmick with good food and great service! So far I have had the Ford Signature Burger (really good!), the Black and Blue Burger (eh, good, but I wouldn't order it again, especially on the pretzel bun it comes on), and the Henry's Chicken. There are some burger places where they truly focus on the "burger", the meat, the way it's cooked, etc. This place was all about what was ON the burger- and quite frankly, that's how I like it. I got the estate burger. The truffle aioli, arugula, and Gouda combination was made for me. And a brioche bun? You've got me. We also got pretzels as an app- they were good, but I've had better. Clever naming conventions for menu items are surpasses by the quality of the food. Their signature burgers are 1/2 lb. The 1/3 lb version is in a different section of the menu. I had a side salad with an added angus beef patty on top. I was very pleased with this selection. The side salad included tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers, chickpeas, and Parmesan. She made recommendations on specific foods and we're glad she did because it was delicious! We had a big party and she handled all of us with great respect and friendliness the whole night.
