The decor is absolutely awesome and I appreciated the attention to details since I'm from Michigan I was really looking forward to eating here. However, the waitress was offended when I remarked the chair was wobbly at our table. At this point it kind of went downhill. The evening was saved by a very conscientious manager. Attractive, friendly and kind of fun, casual atmosphere. Great, convenient location along the north Dallas tollway in Plano. Food is average to very good. Hamburgers are a big deal here. Buns are smallish but with the meat and condiments on the burgers make them so tall I found it impossible to get in my mouth. Didn't enjoy eating with a knife and fork. The atmosphere is so appealing that you will want to go back but there are better burgers elsewhere for sure. And probably at a lower price. read more

Awesome place! My boss came in from out of town and we decided to come here for lunch. We came around 11:30am and it was pretty dead but once noon came around, the place was so packed! The place is like a literal garage but with tables and seating. I ordered the Estates burger with sweet potato tots. The burger was cooked Medium well. It contains a sweet grilled onion mix and though it was good, I'm not sure if I would get it again. Unless you like that sweet and savory burger, then this is for you! The tots were OKAY. I'd rather stick with regular fries or regular tots in my opinion. It wasn't crispy enough and the inside was pretty mushy, though you can tell the chunks of sweet potato. Our service was sweet too. This was our first time here and we will DEFINITELY be back! As regular movie goers next door, we've always wanted to try it and I'm so glad we did. We started with the hot pretzel and beer cheese dip- yum! And our crew had the Estate Burger- Fords Signature- the Americana - a pulled pork Mac n cheese () and the burnt ends melt , some with tots and others with fries. The burgers and meals were all delicious and Tots were a big hit and the fries were the twice fried kind which I don't love but others did. What sold us all though was the SERVICE! I really hope you get Amber as your server because she is a GEM and we were honestly ready to just have her sit down and eat with us. I feel it is rare these days to have amazing customer service and if only people knew what a difference it truly makes and she definitely made a difference. Happy to have finally tried Ford's! Had avoided for Sunday brunch given what I heard about wait times. Went at 1:30 this past Sunday, waited two minutes. The theme extends from decor to staff to napkin rings, even door handles are gas pump handles, super cool! Service was fast friendly and on point. Two main dishes were a bit cold, may have been waiting for the rest of the order before serving the table. Drinks were good - the mechanic Bloody Mary comes with an ipa back which was fun. The mix could use some kick. App of onion rings were perfectly breaded n fried - see pic! Monte cristo was crispy but light. The scramble with burnt tips was excellent. Chicken n waffles with bacon in the batter was a good spin. The burger drew raves. Big bar and beer selection with some TVs throughout, definitely would be good for Sunday football! read more

Fun decorations with lots old Fords and other Ford memorabilia. Wanted to come by and try it out. Napkins are wrapped with hose clamps, etc. We had the Onion Ring appetizer which was okay. Hard to get the rings off the funnel contraption. But beyond the presentation, they were pretty standard onion rings for the price. Burgers were good and although pricey, they do come with a side. I had the Model A burger which was very tasty and cooked great with a perfectly cooked egg on top. Plenty of fries too. Only complaint was they charged $.50 more for my beer than the price on the menu. Don't like when that happens. read more

I got together with several friends on the evening of 5/21/2024. I ordered the fish and chips, friends ordered different burgers and a salad. We all LOVED our food. The proportions are very generous, especially the cod. It's a HUGE piece of fish, and delicious. Our server was Cassandra and she was amazing. The restaurant was extremely busy and she handed it like a champ. She was very attentive and did such a wonderful job. The only negative thing to say about Ford's Garage is that it was very loud in there. We were sitting in a large round booth, and unfortunately I couldn't hear my friends who were sitting across from me. I have great hearing, but between the music and crowded restaurant (even on a Tuesday night) the noise level was really high. Overall, a great restaurant, great service, and delicious food. Burger was cooked medium, wasn't very warm, romaine lettuce was brown on edges. Peanut butter was in a glob, so glad I opened the bun, so I took a millisecond to take my knife and give it a good smear. Bun was cold, it appeared that there was a feeble attempt to toast it. Hubby had the Ford signature burger, basically bacon cheese burger. His burger also wasn't very warm, same bun action Tater tits good could have been a little crispier. Coleslaw good a little chunky. The staff looks like they're ready to service your '64 1/2 and the menu is more exciting and original than this month's Auto Trader. They do birthdays right, and knew my wife and I were celebrating ours based on a gift on the table. Typically we love this place. Good food and service. Also handicap friendly, which is vital for our family. But the car shows on Sundays are ridiculous. Today they have their largest parking lot blacked off- including all handicap parking spots and entry to the restaurant. They used meds than 1:3 of what was blocked off. We struggled to even enter the building due to rude people just standing on every sidewalk. Forced to take service dog and wheelchair into the rocks to get in. It's a car themed restaurant. I normally enjoy your restaurant and frequent it about 1-2 times a month. This past weekend I had a terrible experience with my entree and the first drink I ordered. I asked what type of martini's you had and my server, Brianna suggested I try the Lemon Drop. I tried it and it was awful! All I could taste was a vodka and it did not have lemon or lemon liqueur and it tasted very watered down. I asked her to bring me a regular Grey Goose martini which she did, but the glass was half full. Just wondering about your bartender - more training? I ordered the cedar plank salmon salad and when it was delivered to my table it was missing the salmon!! All it had was lettuce greens and avocado. They quickly brought out a piece of salmon and placed it on my plate. Needless to say, I was not happy and I realize it's not the server's fault but you should have better quality control. read more

The service is to be expected since it is busy but the staff are good. It's a reasonably new establishment and the staff will get their flow. It wasn't 5 star because of little things. When you give them your phone number you receive a text which also has a join the club option. I did it and it said to earn points for this visit make sure to tell your server. Well being old we forgot so it would have been nice to get a reminder before check out if we signed up and to make sure it is entered. I'm going to email them and see it it works. I would definitely make this a visit but be prepared to wait we waited maybe 20-30min which wasn't bad since you can take pictures by the cars and benches to sit! The presentation of the O-rings was awesome, but the taste? Average. I am pretty sure they were not hand-breaded (at least didn't taste that way). They were small and had little taste.
