I suppose I'm one of few not satisfied with the service here. Went in for my brakes in April, was treated with respect and patience in the office, (I don't know any-thing about cars, nor have I ever cared enough to learn. Take me safely from Point A to Point B and I'm satisfied...) and after asking a hundred questions, agreed to change my rotors despite not having issues with them. I was told they would need to be replaced soon, so might as well get it done while there and agreed that was a sensible decision to make. I chose something in-between worst and best, and left fairly satisfied with the service. Fast-forward to beginning of July and my brakes have started screeching louder than cats battling for a dead rat. If my rotors and brakes were changed to brand new ones, and if the parts I purchased from them weren't cheaply made, why would they make so much noise after just a couple of months ? Either I was unlucky in getting something defective, I was sold crappy parts, what I bought wasn't what was installed, or they didn't do a satisfactory job with the installation itself. Whatever the case, after paying hundreds of dollars not three months ago, there is no reason as to why the noise my brakes make is actually worse than what it was before taking my car in. I am now wondering if the brakes were even changed and whether I'm driving on something defective and potentially dangerous. It's sad to be slapped with shoddy work and lies as I had liked the service enough to initially assume they would be my mechanic from now on. Onto the search for another mechanic, I suppose. So, treatment by employees was respectful; service and actual work done is awful. Hope this isn't the experience anyone else, but super disappointed with all of it. read more

First off, got a rock bottom price on tires and alignment and were fast negotiators. I made an appointment for the next day when they said the tires would arrive. The carrier took an extra day to ship the tires so I had to reschedule my appointment for the following day. They did a great job on the wheels and alignment but when I brought the car back home I noticed my $125 Scangauge that I left in the back seat had a cracked display. I'm not going to bother calling to find out if they can do anything for me because, technically it's my fault for trusting service techs with valuables in my car. But come on! Where do I start... I have a Audi s4 and had a great day thru the canyons. Unfortunately ,and thank God it was when I pulled up to the gas station where things went sour. My crank shaft pulley malfunctioned and shredded the belts causing all the alarms go off in the cockpit . Called FOA and talked to Arthur . Had me a quote over phone in 10 min. Called back seemed fair,had AAA flatbed it over. AAA can't have u drive with them .....and someone has to been present to receive car. Arthur came back to shop and waited even after I messed up AAA route. 1.5 hrs later car shows up Arthur calls. We're good. I talked to George at the Burbank location where my car was. I got more work done in the end as it needed a major maintenance. All the time I was informed about price and Needed work which it did. So The Bill went from about $600.00 to about $3000.00. Normally you would say omg. But let me tell you . They went out of there way to make sure I was satisfied and the work is top gun. They don't use cheap parts as some could. Nothing but the best. I have found a shop for all my vehicles. My s4 runs better than ever. This car ran great before this problem , but now. WOW. the work done here is second to none . I went here to get an alignment. I liked that their lobby was clean, and decorared with a personal automotive touch. I thought that was unique. There was also no wait and the guy at the front desk was nice, polite, and calm. When my car was done, they told me to take my time getting it as I was on a business call. Horrible rude service, I simply asked a question about my car to see if he knew the problem. He was rude and said no I can't do that . That I would have to pay first before he looks at it. I usually don't go for extended warranties and such, figuring it's just high-profit extras for the shop. But, I trusted Arthur and got the coverage for both cars, mine and my husband's. I'm glad I took his advice. It more than covered the cost of the insurance on both of my cars when I needed yet further repairs and by finally last week, having my front tires replaced at no cost to me. Highly recommend. Talk with Arthur, he will hook you up. They do excellent work. Came in to have some aftermarket exhaust tips installed and they notified me my rear tires needed to be replaced. But first, the exhaust. The old tips had to be cut, then a pipe fitted to account for the larger diameter inlet on the new tips. Tips were clamped on and they look good! Now for the tires. I went with the Hankooks again and was given a very fair price. Dropped my car off the next morning and the tires were fitted, balanced, and aligned. What I appreciate most about this place is the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the quality work. I was given a fair price and I was taken care of as a customer. I brought my car in here after the dealership was trying to steal my money. I had an issue with my right side losing power to the lights. I talked to the service tech and he explained how the process worked and really took interest in my needs. Basically it's $80 for a diagnosis. That price is the same no matter how long it takes. If you choose to get service done there, that will be a credit. If you go elsewhere, you only pay $80 for a little more knowledge then what you started with. They were able to get my lights fixed and the only issue I had was the service tech cracked my light fixture housing because he screwed the nut too hard. They also didn't correct the headlight alignment so all night I was blinding people. I did call the next day and they were kind and apologetic for not seeing that beforehand. They fixed it and it's almost perfect not. This is a great company to consider on your next car repair. Very helpful, friendly, and understanding of life's issues!
