We had a great weekday lunch experience at Four Day Ray Brewing. After many days and meals with family, my husband and I venture out on our own for a break. I was looking for places near Top Golf in Fishers and this came up in my Google searching - it was in the right area, it was well-reviewed, and it was a brewery. Ding, ding, ding! We easily found street parking right near the restaurant when we arrived. The space is huge. I didn't get much opportunity to look at it (we requested outdoor seating) but it looked like a pretty standard brewpub with big light fixtures, lots of seating options, some merch for sale in the front alongside a carryout beer cooler, and big windows. I was worried about service because the tables on both sides of us, within minutes of our arrival, were being turbo high maintenance. Nothing to worry about - we had a different server who was was more available (sorry to that other server - those people were ridiculous). We started with the baller tots. They're homemade tots and include smoked gouda, bacon, and sriracha ranch. They had a crisp outside and good flavor without being too spicy. They definitely aren't your traditional tots and are a fun spin on your elementary school cafeteria staple. I had the chicken sandwich and can easily understand why it's featured on the menu. It's huge and was fried lightly so the chicken was tender and the breading crisp. The chive buttermilk sauce on the sandwich was a creamy and flavorful complement. Service was great throughout our lunch. I had one beer; my husband had a flight. Everything we ordered was incredible, and the service was top notch! The beer list was extensive, and my partner really enjoyed the stouts. They had a great cocktail and wine menu as well. I tried the Apple Cider Margarita, and would definitely order if again. This would be the perfect place to watch a game with friends! Truffle Grilled Cheese: Fantastic vegetarian option, but you can also add bacon! The Goat: This was actual perfection. The strawberry-fig jam, jowl bacon & goat cheese made for the best flavor combo I've had in a while. Nashville Tenders: These babies are SPICY, but really good with their buttermilk & chive dip. Southwest Salad with Blackened Shrimp: This salad was LOADED, and I loved the pineapple salsa on it. "Baller" Tots: Great appetizer to share with friends. You really can't go wrong when something is topped with sriracha ranch. Truffle Fries: I highly recommend upgrading your side to Truffle Fries or Sweet Potato Fries. Both were delicious! FDR is one our favorite spots for pub food in Fishers. We have never been here at high noon before and parking was an issue. Finally parked in a parking garage that was a significant distance for a 70 year old to handle. That's not the restaurant's issue. Although busy, a table for four was immediately available and our server was very prompt and very personable. In fact, she was one of the best we have had at FDR. My first test of a pub is the quality of their old fashion cocktail. That is top notch here. We shared some boomer tots which were great. I ordered the Stout Onion soup and truffle grilled cheese. The soup had great flavor and if you like an abundance of cheese in your onion soup this is the one for you. The grilled cheese was perfect and is one of my favorites. My wife had the daily soup of chicken spaetzle and loved it. However, shel would not share even a spoonful. One of our party ordered the street corn which he raved about. Yelp hint of the day........ another party member ordered pulled pork sandwich and a side of white truffle Mac n Cheese. We went here mainly because they had covered outdoor seating and they are dog friendly. They have a nice, large patio that is partially covered. Bring your phone because you need to scan a QR code to see the menu and to pay. We had the Raspberry Arugula salad and the Indiana tenderloin. Both were very tasty. Four day ray is in a location that I frequent, but I had never been before. Conveniently down the street from the Well Coffeehouse (one of my faves!), they have a stunning dining room + outdoor patio space. I got the nashville hot chicken tenders, which were delightfully flavored and enormous! I had enough for two meals. The fries were also great, as was the aioli that came with them. We started with the Duck Poutine, which had cheese curds in it as well. The fries were well fried, but overall, the poutine was a little overly salty. I decided to have The Goat burger - and it was so good, I would go again to order this. The server said it was his favorite as well. It had a nice balance of savory and sweetness (from the strawberry fig jam) and I love goat cheese so it was a great combination. I also had a side of the Mexican Street Corn - which was okay, but way too creamy for my taste. We also ordered carry out another day and I had their Crispy Chicken Sando - Fuego! It was spicy! Craving an amazing salad... you NEED to try the Blackened Shrimp Salad at Four Day Ray Brewing. This salad exceeded my expectations, the mix of flavors were on point, LOVE the pineapple salsa! I was here on a Tuesday evening, no reservation and no issue being seated immediately. Everyone from the hostesses, waitstaff... managers were amazing. I was here with a friend, towards the end of our dinner we left our table to say hi to someone we hadn't seen in awhile... when we returned to our table we realized it had been cleaned and my friends to-go box was no longer there. A manager stopped over and offered to have the kitchen remake what was in the box. We waited at the bar, when the box was brought out we noticed they had also included another order of fries and dipping sauce along with a fresh fish filet to replace the filet that had been accidentally tossed out. This was my friends first time at this restaurant and because of the way this was handled will definitely be a return customer! I have been to this location a few times and have always had a great experience. I 100% recommend this restaurant. I came here while I was driving back to Kentucky during a small Roadtrip and was super excited because their beers looked like fun. I ordered 3 tacos to eat along with a beer to try and I wasn't disappointed. My favorite taco was the ahi taco and I wish I would of just ordered three of those because I would of devoured them but instead I also got the chicken and carne asada I believe. I've been here a handful of times and every single time I've been here, I've never been disappointed. I have had a number of different items on the menu, & I'm always satisfied after each meal. I loooove the baller tots! Those are a must. I paired it with a wedge salad this time because I wasn't super hungry. The wedge salad was a basic wedge salad, until I added the bbq pulled pork! That was the best decision I've made all day. It was a perfect match. I got ranch and blue cheese dressing because I didn't know which one I was feeling more. The ranch won (not surprised because I'm a ranch gal). Some other honorable mentions that I've had in the past are the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, the French onion soup (very random but very good), and the drunken dory (aka fish and chips). Shoutout to FDR for continuing to offer safe, curbside pickup during COVID-19! My boyfriend was craving a tenderloin and I told him FDR has one of the best. We ordered our food online, easy peasy, and picked it up 20-25 minutes later. A server brought it to our car and we were off to go enjoy our food. I had heard others rave about the cheeseburger, and it did not disappoint! We live above 20 minutes away from the restaurant, so by the time we ate the food wasn't as piping hot as it would be if dining in, but that's to be expected with carryout. I went here for my nephew's birthday and didn't know what to expect. When I first walked I was surprised to see a brewery. I didn't have enough time to explore it, but I def want to check it out. The wait was a little long but I heard the food was good, so I was looking forward to the meal. The decor was super nice and industrial. We ended up sitting upstairs that overlooked the restaurant. I ordered a Sangria and it was delicious! I wanted to order another but wanted to play it safe. I selected the fish sandwich, but it tasted very fishy. I was hoping that I would enjoy it but the fishy taste overpowered the sandwich and my fries were a little salty. I had a great experience during my first time at Four Day Ray. This is a cool space with indoor and outdoor seating. We intially intended to go for just a beer or two, but ultimately got hungry and decided to split a snack. We decided on the pepperoni, sausage, and sweet pepper flatbread, and this was a great decision. The flatbread was actually a true flatbread - not just subbing in a thinner crust pizza and calling it a day. The crust had a nice crunch, but the toppings were flavorful and the stars of the show. I have to call out the sauce in particular; this was incredible pizza sauce that had a nice sweetness to it that complemented the meats and peppers. We both enjoyed our beers as well. We dined in-house during a time where Indianapolis and its suburbs were starting to reopen, and I appreciate the measures FDR took to make us feel comfortable. They had all servers wearing masks, and they had a system with a little card on a table that allowed you to flip to one side when you needed service and the other side for when you didn't. I don't know if this was more to keep servers or guests at ease, but either way it minimized unnecessary interactions up close. The beer was good and the flatbread was great, so I will be back to FDR in the future. read more

Impromptu lunch after an appointment across the street. Four Day Ray lived up to the hype!! Had a lovely lunch on their back patio. It was perfectly shaded for a summer day. The Ahi Poke tacos stole the show. SO GOOD. Wish we would have ordered 10. So fresh tasting. The truffle fries were recommended by our server and were incredible. Large portion too! Definitely big enough for up to 4 people to share. Delicious aioli that was served with them. My raspberry arugula salad was so fresh and a really great flavor combo with the chicken, goat cheese, and raspberries. I didn't want the candied pecans on my salad and they were quick to substitute sunflower seeds for me per request. Topped it all off with a refreshing blood orange blonde beer. Just wish we could have tried more beer options today. I will have to order a flight next time. We will be back! My family and I ate here this Saturday. The food was just okay....First we had the fried pickles and the cheese curds for appetizers. I enjoyed the fried pickles, but the cheese curds had a weird breading that was not my favorite. I ordered the crispy chicken sando for my meal and chose the southern crisp. The sandwich looked great ( pictured below) but the fries were over fried and I could barely eat any. The chicken sando was greasy and made my stomach hurt afterward. My fiancé enjoyed the FDR burger with a light beer. However had similar experiences with the over fried french fries. My sister enjoyed the tacos and said she would get them again. We were around the location on a late Saturday evening and decided to go in. I think there was a pre-independence day celebration that evening in the nickel plate area and the restaurants around had been super busy. So the staff seemed to be already tired. So even though we got seated promptly, we didn't have our server check in on us for a very long time. We were quick with placing our order and had our drinks come in fairly soon. My husband tried one of their beers and I had a pretty good old fashioned there. One order of our kids lemonade was forgotten for a while, till we had to remind our server. For our dinner my kids had the sausage and pepperoni pizza and kids Mac and cheese. No issues with the taste of the food there. I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was very good. I also got truffle fries as a side and we all shared it and loved it a lot. Kids were asking for more of it constantly. My husband had the brisket burger which was a pretty messy affair but he enjoyed the combo of the brisket and burger. A great venue with amazing customer service and delicious food! I met a colleague for a lunch meeting and found myself with a dilemma, which one of these delicious food choices was I going to pick? The struggle was real! Great tacos, amazing salads, and delicious sandwiches were all here at Four Day Ray. I made my selection and even asked for some customization which the staff was happy to help me make. I ended up with an amazing salad with their Nashville Chicken on their raspberry arugula salad. It was an awesome flavor combo! I would strongly recommend it. I also tried the Ahi taco and found myself torn, I need a salad and taco combo meal. :) Seriously, the food is amazing, the venue is great, and now that Indiana stopped sending us snow, the outdoor patio is a great option for a meal.
