This guy is a fucking idiot. No idea what he's doing he had my car for 4 months throwing random part at it and had such bad communication I was about to call the police because he didn't respond for two weeks. GUESS WHAT after I got my car back from him I drove it for 20 miles and boom same problem happened left me stranded on the high way. Frank will just throw parts at a car and not tell you and just give you a bill... completely unprofessional. He is a fraud. I went to go see my car after it being with him for 2 months.. the car was extremely dirty it looked like he drove it in the mud (it was a corvette) and the bumper, side skirts and fenders were in a pile in the corner of his "shop".. leaving scratches all over it costing a total of 2,500$ of paint damage. Frank is going to be my mechanic so long as I'm in this area!! I completely trust him and his knowledge on cars. I first found frank when my AC broke on my Nissan Altima while I went out of town. After getting quotes from several shops, I found frank and asked him to come check it out. We scheduled something, he came, and fixed my baby right up. Soon after, I knew I needed my brakes changed since I had a brake light on, (I think it was due to brake fluid) and he fixed that and change my brakes. He found that I needed one set of front rotors and I trusted that opinion. I could also hear my rear bearings make noise when I drive and he found that it was broken on the inside, so he charged me only what he felt was right since he changed it while changing my brakes. Just as others have reviewed, Frank is an honest, knowledge mechanic that probably saved me close to $200 on a relatively *simple* emissions sensor replacement that was just a little too challenging for me to take on. After getting the part and making an attempt, I asked for a quote and he replied promptly. Quote was more than reasonable but he pointed out he was a bit backed up and it would be a few days before he could get to me, which didn't sit well with my expired inspection sticker. He then added encouraging advice to try again and give it another shot myself. Sadly and embarrassingly, Yelpers, i still couldn't manage the replacement on my own... whamp whamp... the sensor I needed replaced was almost impossible to reach and I'd have to do it all blindly because it's just that hidden in the bowels of the engine. He still squeezed me in within a couple of evenings and my car passed inspection the next day. I'll be using him again for any future automotive needs, no question. read more

2013 Expedition Fuel injectors The mechanic who came out was very on time, nice and professiona. l. I really want to give 5 stars But unfortunate I cannot in good conscience due to 2 things. First while re installing the air tub on the air mixer/ carb he did not have it on fully which I had to point out and he adjusted not a big deal. Second after taking for a test drive I noticed the idle was not steady which I just thought maybe everything just needed to settle in so I excepted the work and gladly paid for the job. The next day I was driving and the idle did not level out. The engine idled between 400 & 600 rpm causing me some concern. I investigated thinking there was a vacuum leak. I checked all the lines and they were fine. I was about to give up and just happened to notice the air box lid had only 1 clip attached out of 3 and was not sitting properly leaving a gap for air to enter the box which meant no vacuum inside the box so the sensor was not able to function correctly. After reinstalling the lid correctly the idle settled back to normal. These are very minor things but if I had no experience with mechanics I would have had to call the mechanic back. Even with these minor issues I would not hesitate to use Franks again. Thank you. read more

Well, Frank fixed my car. That's about all I can say. On the first day of the repair, he showed up 4 HOURS late (was supposed to arrive at 12:30, arrived in fact at 4:30), and I had to text him repeatedly to find out when he was showing up. He never apologized or acknowledged in any way that he had kept me waiting all day long. Then it turned out that I needed a part, which he called and ordered from the dealer, assuring me that he'd be back first thing the next morning to complete the job. The next morning there was no Frank. I waited until 1pm to check in and make sure he was still coming. He responded that he had forgotten to text me but since the part was ordered after 5pm (wouldn't have been a problem if he'd shown up on time on day 1) it would in fact be arriving the NEXT day. He told me he'd be there at 9:30am the following morning. 9:30 comes and goes, no Frank. At 10:30 I texted him to ask what was going on and he just said "the parts should be arriving soon" but again, didn't give me a time or any addition information. I eventually left the house and left my car unlocked, as he told me I didn't need to be there and that as long as it was unlocked it would be fine. After the theme of my entire relationship with Frank being that he won't tell me when he's going to be at my house or what's going on with the parts or when I can expect my car to be finished and I have to text him to find out anything at all...it was amazing that as SOON as the job was finished he became Mister Communication and began absolutely blowing up my phone with text messages, "U almost done?" "Can i get paid?" "It's been over an hour" etc etc etc. I had already agreed to pay via Venmo and had gotten his information, but I was having a nice bike ride with friends and wasn't looking at my phone so imagine my surprise when I saw these messages, and imagine my further surprise when after TWO HOURS he says that he's been waiting at my house this whole time and he's not leaving until he gets paid. I told him that I was heading home soon, but I wasn't going to pay until I took a look at the car and was met with "What time u gonna get here?" "How many mins?" "I'm trying to go home not wait here all day" I arrived back home and sure enough, Frank was in his truck outside. I then paid him and told him that it's pretty unprofessional to send your customers a barrage of text messages demanding payment the instant a job is finished. He then told me that it was my fault for not responding to all his messages and accused me of avoiding him. If your policy is to get paid as soon as the job is done you need to tell that to the customer, especially if the customer has told you that they aren't going to be home. And if you're sitting there waiting, you should mention that too. Don't just keep texting and texting and saying "when u gonna pay me?" If you're going to be late, tell the customer. If the parts don't come in, tell the customer. A little basic communication would have made this a mildly annoying but ultimately forgettable car repair but because I was left waiting for two days and then absolutely hounded for money the instant the job was done I will not only remember it forever but will not be hiring Frank again. read more
