The food was delicious, service was good and the ambiance was pleasant. Location makes it hard to find.

The family brought me here for a nice Mother's Day dinner, and we were all quite pleased with our meal. To start, the nice hostess validated our parking so that neither of us would forget, which I thought was a smart and classy move. Elissa was our server and she was a sweetie: professional, but personable and good at her job. We tried the Toasted Ravioli appetizer because it seems to be their thing. You can order meat or jalapeño cheese, so we got half of each. Both are delicious and the marinara was terrific. In the future, I'd only order them if I was getting a light entree. Next, they brought a small pan of complimentary bread. While the bread was not hot, it was still good and the accompanying herb butter really elevates it. My husband ordered the petite filet and it was incredible! So tender and flavorful. My son and I couldn't resist the prime rib sandwich. It's really expensive for what it is, but they do give you a generous portion of prime rib. Serving it on a garlic toasted French baguette makes it even better, but that price point, still...The only huge misstep of the night were the French fries. Absolutely dreadful- as they had that awful taste you get when the fryer oil hasn't been changed out. As a nice touch, the restaurant gave us a free butter cake on the house for Mother's Day. It was plenty for the three of us to share, and a really delicious way to end the evening. Frasher's is definitely a special occasion kind of restaurant but we enjoyed our visit here. read more

Our server Hannah was absolutely fantastic and made the whole experience unforgettable. She truly made our night and recommended the best food! To begin, they'll ask give you bread as a starter with I believe 6 pieces. Our favorites for the evening were definitely the seared scallops, the prime rib, and the lobster tails. Everything came out fairly quickly and it was all very flavorful. The sautéed mushrooms came out on a sizzling skillet and were really good; Unfortunately we were way too stuffed to finish it! For a Saturday night, two days before Christmas, it was surprisingly extremely empty. There were only a few group tables but otherwise, not many people came in that night. We didn't mind because the food was great and above all else, Hannah was fantastic and hilarious; We'd come back just for her service alone and she deserves the praise! read more

I tried the Summer Berry Martini (thanks for the recommendation Sydney) and it was light & refreshing. Food was excellent - we joined the "Clean Plate Club" and had to pass on dessert even though it was Oh So Tempting. It didn't help that we knocked out the bread & butter as soon as it hit the table! My family came here for a special occasion dinner. The service was top-notch and the food was fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly and, while the place was full, we did not feel at all like we were rushed, nor did we struggle for waitstaff attention. The waitress made suggestions for appetizers (we had the toasted ravioli w/ marinara 50/50 cheese/meat and we enjoyed them. I believe the consensus was that the meat ones were slightly better. Their signature Manhattan is very well done and has good flavor with the maple and rye. My ribeye was perfectly cooked -- it is expensive, but it is a quality piece of meat that is cooked very well. I buy, butcher and cook a lot of steaks and I am willing to pay for someone else to do it if it is done well. I will come back here. It is a bit of a drive for us, but it is worth the trip to support a local business and have a great meal. read more

We're in town for Spring Training and wanted a nice steak dinner, Frasher's Tavern was the perfect spot! The food was excellent, BEST Prime Rib I've had, the Ribeye was cooked to perfection. The French Onion soup was on point and the house salad was very tasty. Then to top it off, a delightful Butter cake, unbelievable! Our server Dominic kind and helpful, also very attentive. Tucked away in a corner with other business buildings and surprisingly good! It's got a neighborhood mom and pop feel to it, and I liked how different it feels from other typical old town Scottsdale steakhouses. The main dining area were a bit noisy but we got to sit by the bar and it wasn't as bad. Ribeye and Steak Sandwich were good. And the mushroom as a side was well worth it for the price. I do wish I asked for light or no cheese on the steak sandwich though, because it does cover up too much flavor from the steak for my personal preference. read more

I was excited to try this place. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. I felt like I ate old cafeteria food. The ambience was okay. If, you want to go to and an old lions club meeting. They had one server that looked overwhelmed. The table next to me kept saying their water smelled like eggs. I definitely won't try this place again. It's just definitely not worth the price. Last night, we had a plan with some friends to finally have dinner here. And I sure am glad that we did. I ordered the pork chop and my girlfriend got one of the last 2 cuts of prime rub. Both were absolutely off the charts! So good. My friend Craig also ordered the pork chop and he said it was the best he'd ever had. Sydney is a great bartender, and fellow cat lover. And the ambiance is an "Old School steakhouse kinda vibe". We loved every single thing about it. I've said this before and will again...it really feels like what Don and Charlies used to feel like before they closed. It's got a classy baseball energy while being dimly lit. I was part of a group of eight who was meeting with Jennifer, the events coordinator to discuss an upcoming large party. Wow - just wow! I love the ambiance - both casual and elegant at the same time. Service was top-notch! We sampled a number of the appetizers - the charcuterie board was beautiful!! The wings were smoky and delicious. We also enjoyed the ravioli (the cheese has quite the kick!!), and everyone raved about the crab cakes (I'm allergic, so can't say!). After our meeting, my husband and I split the giant porterhouse that was on special. They know how to prepare a great steak! The garlic mashed and broccoli rabe were the perfect sides, and the bread! Their bbq is really tasty - from the burnt ends to the pulled pork. My StL favorites aside from the pizza, are the toasted ravioli and the gooey butter cake - a must try dessert!! Our excitement quickly turned sour as soon as we walked in though the doors unfortunately. There was absolutely no ambiance! This restaurant was very, very loud, even Dominic was having trouble hearing us when we were ordering. So we ordered a Summer Berry Martini, which was very good. Really enjoyed this local steakhouse. It's locally owned, been in business for over 20 years. Ordered the Ribeye medium rare, cooked perfect! Their secret sauce they use is great. I could cut the steak with a butter knife. The house salad dressing is really good for the side salad. I wish they had a baked potato, but we ordered the shrooms and corn, both were delicious.
