Great food her at freaking tacos, I had to try there asada quesadilla with sour cream and gauc... fabulous just so tasty meaty highly recommend ... also got 4 asada street tacos and 4 pollo street tacos and for carnitas tacos!!!!!!! The carnitas are the star here moist tender and so juicy loved every bite, the pollo ones were slightly behind the carnitas very slightly, just bursting with flavor, and the asada were really good too moist meaty and tender!!! This place rocks great prices and young girl who waited on me was so friendly, happy and helpful also very beautiful smile!!!! Overall u must come here if u love street tacos and quesadillas !!!! Pretty cool little spot. Limited selection but at a deal of a price. Don't know if they only $1 tacos and $5 burritos because they just opened or is this the regular price. Friendly staff, good prices, and delicious tacos. I decided I wanted to try out a new taco place and Freaking Tacos was always coming up in my searches. It was a bit difficult to locate pulling into the lot as their signage only says taqueria. But once you enter the restaurant you'll see signs for FT, in reference to Freaking Tacos. I decided on three al pastor tacos and a side of guac. These are some legit tacos! But watch out, they are pretty spicy. I was also impressed with the guacamole. Some restaurants over season or add too much lime loosing the fresh avocado tastes.This guacamole was simple and fresh, just the way I like it! To top it off, the cashier was friendly and thorough, making double sure to give me the correct order. Can't wait to return! read more

The staff are so nice & accommodating especially for how busy they are because they're tacos are freaking fuegoooooooo I come here all the time when I am in town and recommend the pastor tacos, carne asada & Barbacoa though chicken & carnitas are good too. Freaking Tacos- So straight away, let me say that if you have $5- you can be treated to 5 flavor packed mini tacos as a great intro to this really neat little restaurant in the Roseland district of Santa Rosa, not far from Guy Fieri's "Guy's Grocery Game" set even!! I strongly recommend trying the $5 special and then branching out to other menu items. It's a zero risk decision! We have tried the carne asada (chopped steak) mini tacos, the al pastor (BBQ pork) and pollo (chicken) and loved them all. It's basically a "2-3 bite street taco X5." Good amount of meat, fresh chopped onions and cilantro, and salsa. The way the deal works is you pick ONE meat for all 5 and it's all $5! One of my favorite things is seemingly one of the overlooked things about restaurant tacos. Tortillas that are what brings the meaty, oniony and salsa zing together in your taco, OR puts a dry and mealy texture in your mouth- depending on how it's treated. In the case of Freaking Tacos, your tortillas are perfectly grilled so that they have the slight firm bite of the sear of the griddle, but cooked through so they are almost bread-like! That texture and flavor married with the seared meat, onion, cilantro and salsa really make the tummy happy! What goes best with a delicious and very affordable meal in a clean and comfortable space? How about wonderful service? And again, Freaking Tacos delivers! The people at this neighborhood gem seem to truly understand and appreciate the term "hospitality." Not only are they welcoming and polite, we've watch them periodically looking around the restaurant to see how customers are enjoying the food. After 5 years of living in Santa Rosa, "Me llegó el día". Translation:"My day has come". Freaking Tacos does make freaking great tacos and burritos. I've tried many "Mexican" taquerias and unfortunately "Chipotle" beats most, but not Freaking Tacos! Their offering of various meats is limited to basic pork like carnitas, chicken, and beef, but it's excellent. Their burritos are moist, very well seasoned, and one can taste the various ingredients used because they're fresh. The tacos are killers along with their salsa. So if your tired of mediocre tacos and burritos that are so dry that require liquid in order to swallow and a lot of extra salsa to provide some flavor, you've got to give Freaking Tacos a try. 2.75.... So torn between a 2 or 3 star. I'd be lying if I said I liked it. Unfortunately this place didn't work out for me as I was hoping to. First off - There is ZERO dining inside and only 2 small tables in front. Not so great when you can smell the cigarette smoke coming from the guy outside the laundry mat. Kind of turned me off my meal. Super gross! Do yourself a favor and just get it to go. There is room inside if they wanted to add a few tables inside. Just sayin! Secondly - I was bummed at the chip quality. I am 99.9% sure they are store bought. Taste like the Mission brand. And you only get those chips if you get a combo meal. You will not get chips with your meal otherwise. Thirdly - NO SALSA BAR THE FOOD : The $1.50 tacos are street tacos. You know, the smallest size they make that are the palm of your hand. 2 bites and they are gone. Order at least 5 so you don't leave hungry like I did. The other Yelpers are right - The Pastor did have pineapple chunks in it. That's what drove me here. However, the pastor is so thinly sliced as if it was cut on a deli meat slicer. Perfect for the itty bitty tacos. The perks - the girl taking our order was an absolute sweetheart and wanted to know how we heard about them ? She even checked in with us.
