Every time my order has gone well, it has been great. However when things go bad, they go really bad. My most recent experience started on 5/28/25. I had a Newport Brass faucet that had an issue and was covered under their warranty. I was told to call Newport Brass. After contacting both WDC and Newport, it seemed like a simple process: WDC had to simply fill out some paperwork and Newport would ship me a new faucet. I was following up with WDC monthly to check on the status and was obviously lied to every time--working on it, it's on back order, my customer service team and I are handling it, it should be in next month, I'm not sure what's going on, etc.. My last exchange with WDC was on 12/14/25. Newport Brass says this isn't a big deal and they do this all the time, essentially blaming WDC for not following through with simple paperwork. It has been almost a year, I still don't have a faucet, and I've heard nothing from WDC in 4 months.

We were assured that it was the top of the line, so without seeing anything in person, we took the word of the sales manager and ordered it. Once it was installed (by the installer they set up for us) it was immediately evident that it was "rickety" at best. It was also an eyesore, with bright, plastic looking chrome on the handle which would have been impossible to see from the tiny thumbnail across the counter we looked at before agreeing to purchase (totally on us). But more importantly it wasn't stable. It rattles horribly when you open it. It rattles horribly when you close it. And it moves all around inside of its compartment. When we contacted the store, complete with video, we were told "no refunds," which was never disclosed during the purchase process. The receipt is emailed to you with the disclosure after you purchased the item and leave the store. The response from the manager was that this was the highest quality trash compactor on the market, despite the videos showing the contrary. He said maybe the install was dome incorrectly but his installer, who is very nice, told us that was the best he could do, so it was basically too bad for us. Buyer beware.

He ordered the part and charged me a small fortune. When he came to replace the part he dropped it on the floor. Installed it anyway and said to make sure I use the oven. he left and I tried it out same code apparently it needed a another part. they ordered it and that took about another 4 days to get it, came out installed it. Didn't work same code he told me that he recommended that we replace the whole oven. Ask for a refund he told me it will take a few days for the refund. It only took 5 minutes to take the money out of my account. The oven is only 6 years old. what really got to me is that the tech didn't want to listen to anything I would suggest. I've been a mechanic for 50+ years and I know how to troubleshoot. I will not recommend this company. The best thing you can say about him is he came. But that's all! I would still use this company but request a different technician

This was my experience with AMPM Appliance Services, all today:…read more 1 Sent a Yelp email out requesting a quote for a washing machine diagnostic and potential subsequent repairs around 8AM. A response came from Jason within the hour, indicating that a diagnostic is $65 which would be applied to any subsequent repair costs. 2 I called the business around 9AM and was told a technician Gary would be available between 10AM-12PM. 3 Gary arrived a little after 11AM and was great with the diagnostic. I was nosy and he was explaining along the way about the control panel. In the end it turned out that the repair costs would be around the price within a few hundred dollars of a new machine, as the panels were shorting out. All in all really great experience particularly due to Gary's candor, knowledge sharing and honesty. We have a GE machine and he advised to only get LG, top-loader preferred with as few features as possible. He also gave a vendor recommendation for discount washing machines. I very much appreciate his time although I probably slowed him down with my questions. I would highly recommend this business and especially Gary - very trustworthy and honest establishment and representation. Thank you! Editing not a week later! The dishwasher had flooded onto the floor and was not starting a new cycle last night. Kevin came in and was able to diagnose the problem immediately which was of my own making when I installed the garbage disposal a few days ago and didn't knock out the blocker in the disposal where the dishwasher drain attaches (HUMILIATING) thus causing the flooding. Not only did Kevin successfully drain the dishwasher pan without being able to fully pull the unit out (the floors were installed after the dishwasher was placed and the back feet didn't have clearance) BUT he also reinstalled the garbage disposal! I cannot say enough about this business and I am going to recommend them to everyone with appliance issues. This is my 2nd engagement with the company and both technicians have gone above and beyond to explain the problem and solution, are fast, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Kevin! First, Egor arrived exactly when he said he would, which is always a good start! Then when he saw what was wrong, he simply showed us how to fix it for future reference and declined to charge us because the visit was maybe 10 minutes long. He could have charged us a visit fee and he could chosen not to show us how to handle it ourselves, but he was generous with both his time and knowledge. After an hour the repairman said it was the compressor and he didn't have the part and it would be $300 when he came back on Monday. So today he showed up, spent another hour, said he had fixed it and left. I told him the fan in the freezer was too loud but he said that was normal. Shortly after that the same problem was occurring. The fan in the freezer compartment sounds like a lawn mower and the refrigerator compartment is not cold. I called the company and they just argued with me and said the best they could do is send someone again tomorrow. At that point I called Andy Kao and left a message on his voicemail begging for help. Within an hour he called me back and was able to diagnose the problem on the phone. He was on his way home but he came over to my house instead. Within a few minutes he had fixed the problem which turned out to be a loose fan. I was getting desperate as I'm due to have surgery on Wednesday and couldn't deal with this mess, and no food!
