Full on is easily my favorite local restaurant/bar, and here's why: good food, laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, and a solid beer and wine menu (not to mention sangria). I went for my third time last night, and accidentally ordered the crab cake sandwich instead of the crab cake grilled cheese without realizing it until I was halfway through my meal (it was that good!). Even though it was 100% my fault for ordering the wrong item, the waiter offered several times to have the kitchen remake my sandwich. I am solely rating this on the one sandwhich I ordered which would be the crab cake grilled cheese that every one has been raving about on yelp. I ordered it TO-GO. The parking at Full On is very very small. I walked in and was greeted nicely. I picked up my order and left. Sometimes I feel like eating at the restaurant versus taking it to go might have a huge impact on how good it tastes. I love crab cake and grilled cheese so damn I was excited to order this. I ate it and it tasted like normal crab cake on two slices of normal bread. Nothing special about this sandwich, it got a little cold so maybe thats why it didn't taste as good? I wasn't wowed. First time eating here! I recently started a new job and I guess my coworkers frequent here. I got the turkey and avocado sandwich and was very pleased! The turkey was nice thick cuts, the avocado was PERFECTLY ripe, which I have found is not common in sandwich shops usually, and the bread was fluffy yet held together. Super cute little brewery and bites off of georgia and norbeck. My friends and I stopped by here for a beer and some grub. A smaller, cozier place than I expected but with plenty of bar stools and seating. Parking is pretty limited but we were told that we could park by the convenient store and walk over. We were more in the mood for apps and small eats, but their menu consists more of sandwiches and burgers. We did end up ordering the wings with thai and old bay sauces which were pretty good! Slightly on the drier side though. We also ended up ordering onion rings, not too special. They have a pretty good beer/drink selection. This place has done something that a lot of places could learn from- listened to their clients and gotten better with time.it has become our go to spot for weeknight dinner in days I don't feel like cooking. And when I was sick I send my guy for the potato soup- that or the tomato were pretty much all I could keep down while I recovered from my surgery. This place is awesome. Sadly, I was in the area with a group of friends for a memorial service. Afterward, we were desirous of some comfort food & a drink before parting ways. I did a quick search of the area, and my fellow Yelpers did not let me down. Don't be deterred by the modest exterior appearance. We arrived about 20 minutes before opening hours, and the staff were kind enough to let us in early, and also to rearrange tables for our large group. The server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and informed us that everything is made on site from scratch, with the exception of their bread, which is delivered fresh daily. I and several of my friends went with the server's recommendation of the crab cake grilled cheese sandwich and onion rings. SO. GOOD. Everyone else's food looked scrumptious as well, but I was mostly too engrossed in my delicious grilled cheese to ask them about their food. I also had a draft agave cerveza, which was also on point. Here's the kicker--my serving was so generous that I only ate half, AND when I ate the leftovers that night, it was STILL delicious! A reheated grilled cheese sandwich with crab that's delicious?! Yes! This place isn't very large inside, & by the time my group was done, almost all tables were taken. The two stars are strictly for the food...NOT the service. Do not go on a busy night because their staff do not know how to handle "stressful" situations with large parties. I went with a party of 5 and there were no tables to seat us. I asked if we could push two tables together, one of their waitresses Jen was very quick to say no and have an attitude. Her attitude lasted the entire night because of this "stressful" situation. Another helpful waitress offered to seat us at the bar because that was the only option...and apparently they wasn't allowed! Yes, 3 of my 5 were late. It was raining out and they were about 15 late. They said two people left due to their anger about me saving bar seats. A whole lot more people are going to leave due to your inability to handle stressful situations in a RESTAURANT environment on a WEEKEND NIGHT. The owner messaged me replying to my first post telling me the side of their story that it was stressful for me to have a party of 5 at the bar and they weren't there and offered that next time she would push two tables together. That was my initial suggestion before they sat me at the bar. I didn't want to sit at the bar anyway, it is hard to talk to your group when you're sitting next to each other. If you aren't allowed to hold bar seats then next time communicate that to your staff. In response to the owner Julie's comment on my post: No one is lying here.1 I was not offered a table to even wait for because only one table in your entire restaurant seats 6. 2 I suggested two tables be put together but jen was quick to say no. I am sure someone will take the time to read this review and see that the owner of a business fails to understand the importance of customer service, but is instead quick to defend her faulty staff. There is absolutely nothing ordinary about Full-On and that is a good thing. In these days of formulaic dining it is good to find a place that stands out on its own. Couple that with friendly, efficient service and Full On is a winner. Their menu is, in a word, unusual. That is not a problem at all, in fact, there are things on the menu I wish I could find elsewhere. If you like freshly cut and fried potato chips you will love theirs. They come hot from the cooker with a delicious dipping sauce. If you are not into chips you can pay $1.50 more for onion rings, a salad, or cole slaw. Sandwich portions are generous and their soups are fantastic. Sandwich prices range from $10 to $14.50. They also have large salads in the $14 range. They have an extensive selection of craft beers and good wines. The biggest problem is deciding which beer you want but that is not a problem because they will provide samples. If you are looking for Bud Light or Michelob you will have to look elsewhere. If you are looking for a brew pub with grinders and fries this is not your place; the Brew Pub in Olney does that well. If you want good beer, good wine, and an eclectic sandwich and salad menu then this may be the place for you. read more

I stopped pass for a yummy sandwich and spent an hour here sending emails and having an early dinner. My vegetarian meal included a yummy southwestern blt (avocado substitute for bacon), side beet salad, and a cup of tomato soup. Everything was great. Next time I'll have rye bread. Great place for sandwiches and beer! Dropped by for lunch on a Sunday with my boyfriend and our friend and we were seated immediately at the bar with no wait. Food came out quick and the sandwiches were delicious. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which was so good. I also tried a bite of my boyfriend's chipotle BBQ beef sandwich and I'd definitely recommend that one as well! I will note that they have a TON of sandwiches on their menu and making a decision on which sandwich to get took me forever, lol. I'll just have to come back to try out more of them :). read more

If you want a solid craft beer and sandwich this is your jam. So long as you can find the place and then find a parking spot. I've tried several of their sandwiches and have been pleased with all of them. No major complaints yet at the same time, given the prices regardless of what I order, I'm expecting it to be one of the most epic sandwiches ever. Yes, they're good. Maybe even great. But not epic. While I respect what they stand for, at $11.50 for a roast beef and horseradish sandwich, it better be the best roast beef and horseradish sandwich of all time. Negative. Good to great but not epic. If you're a vegetarian you're looking at $10-11 for a cauliflower (euuuuuch!) sandwich or portobello caprese (tempting I have to admit but not spending $11 for something that doesn't even have meat!) If you want to swap out the chips for another side it's an extra $1.50. I'm sorry but coleslaw is so not worth an additional $1.50. Now to what really bugs me about this place: logistics. Now it's not necessarily their fault. The location isn't quite a strip mall nor is it a shopping center. It's behind the historic White's Hardware (ACE) which is an old historical building. With that comes all sorts of hoopla which I'm guessing at the end of the day explains the bizarre layout of the restaurants and parking lot (or lack thereof) in the adjacent area. While getting into the parking lot etc. is easy (so long as you can find a space) getting out and situating yourself in whichever direction you need to go when leaving is a royal pain in the bum. No joke, I can stand the prices every now and then, but this parking nonsense is the sole reason why I don't come here as often as I'd like. The Greek place next door has a Wednesday special so if you're looking to try Full On the best advice I can possibly give is to not visit on a Weds. around noon! You're more than likely going to be blocked in by someone parked illegally in hot pursuit of a $5 gyro. It's happened to me twice! read more

Since my buddy was home for the holidays and lived in Virginia and we were near Baltimore, we thought this place was a nice centralized location to grab a bite to eat. The parking situation is dismal at best. We lucked out and saw a woman pulling out as soon as we pulled up. Upon entering, I guess after everything I'd read, I thought this place would be more spacious. Once again, we were lucky enough to see an open table and immediately snagged it while we waited for the other half of our party. Their beer menu was decent. With a name like Craft Eats and Drinks, I was expecting their selection to be a bit more extensive, but they offered some amazing brews. Their menu had a little bit for everyone. The portobello caprese was absolutely wonderful! The portion size was just right and all the flavors meshed perfectly together. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't the life-changing experience Yelpers are making it out to be. If I were right next to this place and starving, I'd come back again, because they do serve respectable food. But I wouldn't seek this place out, especially considering you've only got about a 50/50 chance of securing a parking spot. If you're trapped in an office and just need something for lunch, it's good for that. But if you want a really satisfying dinner or even weekend lunch, go elsewhere.
