My husband has fond high school memories of eating here with friends, so he was so excited to show me all the hype! The employees were very friendly and really knew how to make a burger. I'd highly recommend adding bacon- it makes the burger pricier, but the taste is delicious! The area is a little sketchy at night, but this hole in the wall joint sure is popular! We came on a Monday night at 6:30 pm, and there were 7 other customers besides us. We had to wait a bit for our burgers and fries, and then did takeout to feel more comfortable regarding COVID. Oh man. I can't say enough praise about this place. What a great hidden gem! We got a burger, grilled ham and cheese, two orders of fries and two drinks and a slice of cheesecake for dessert. For two, it cost about 25 dollars! For the amount of food we got, I felt this was incredibly reasonable! The quality of the food was amazing. The burger was fresh and cooked to perfection. My grilled ham and cheese was so delicious and not overwhelmingly greasy. It's the perfect mom and pop place that's tucked to the side of Fry's. The service was great and the wait wasn't long at all. We went mid day during the week so I'm not sure of how long the wait is during peak hours. There was only one waitress working at the time we went. Where have I been all my life?! I've always driven by this place and I had never stopped in... why? We were craving burgers on Sunday and this place popped up on my feed. I saw that it had great reviews and so we decided to try it out. The inside is small but there are plenty of booths and tables. There was nobody in line and so we were helped right away. We ordered two cheeseburgers and added mushrooms to both for an additional 90cents each. My friend had a bacon cheeseburger with all the toppings. (Lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, mustard) Oh and pickles on the side! We also ordered two small fries, one strawberry shake, and one medium drink. My total came out to be $35. We sat down and we were starving. The food took about 15 to 20 minutes to come out but we saw that they were making everything fresh!! The waiter then brought out our food and he made sure we had everything we needed. He was so nice. The food? IT WAS DELICIOUS. The burgers were so juicy, and yes they were GIANT. The french fries were so crunchy and hotttttttt. Mmmm everything tasted so good. The strawberry shake was the perfect way to end such a great meal. The shake was creamy and it even had pieces of strawberry, umm yum. I will be back!!! read more

No way in hell, I mean Az in the summer, can this place can have almost 5 legitimate stars, no way it can't be, I refuse to believe it. Bla bla bla, I wanted so bad to give this place good review, yada yada yada, I always support locally owned ma-pa shops....yes all that's true, however I'm gonna just cut to the bland meat and moldy potatoes. Worst food ever! Super soggy, so much con fact that all my food squished to the dirty covid ridden asphalt after it ripped they the soaked bag. I actually heard a splat, almost like the sound a wet dish towel makes when it hits the ground. I was able to salvage both soggy bottom burgers and one fry. I get in the house and flick off the little covid particles and plate the scraps. One burger had MOLD all over the bun so it was not eaten . Now we are down to one bland watered down burger and one fry. Question if we should eat the food for obvious reasons. We try, it was $24.00 so what the heck. Burger was bland, ZERO flavor, lettuce was mostly brown slimy, tomatoes were ok. Absolutely nothing special about this place. I hope we don't get sick. WOW what a gem. I had to make a delivery to the UPS store and saw giant hamburgers sign in the little strip mall. I was thinking about getting a burger and decided to come down and try it. This restaurant reminds me of an old 50s style, and the men wear black pants white short dress shirts and black ties. You don't see that very often! My food came within a reasonable amount of time. The dish appears to be kind of on the sloppy side. It was also a little bland for chili. Sofa refills were slow as they seem to spend a lot of time "in the back" doing whatever. It also too a while to get the check. It was my first time here, but definitely will not be my last. The restaurant is small with a limited menu. They have burgers, hot dogs, fries, sandwiches, and some breakfast items. They do serve breakfast all day. I got a burger and it truly was giant and delicious. I ate all of it! I was just your classic grilled burger, but probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I also ordered some chili cheese fries. The cheese they use is slices of cheese. I prefer shredded cheese on my chili cheese fries, but they were still good. The chili was so good it made up for the slices of cheese.
