    Spicy Shrimp

We got the Hot and Spicy Shrimp, right after trying Jenny's right down the road. And would definitely recommend Jenny's Shrimp (like 200 feet away) if there is a huge line for Giovanni's. The Shrimp was very small and the hot sauce we are pretty sure was just Tabasco sauce lol. If you do come here definitely get the Shrimp Scampi instead of the spicy shrimp, the garlic shrimp is a lot better. Other than that you get to sign the truck too which I thought was a cool concept.

First time here and it was soooo good!!! Staff was friendly as well, and the food court area was very clean and nice to hangout in! Definitely would recommend the garlic shrimp!

I've eaten at their food truck in North shore several times but first time in this locations. I thought their garlic shrimp tasted much better. I usually don't really like how their rice is cooked(too mushy )but the rice at this location was great!

The shrimp was fresh, perfectly deveined, and came out piping hot. The employee gave us a heads-up to get the hot sauce on the side. They weren't kidding, it's seriously spicy! It's a casual walk-up spot in the food court at the top of H Mart, but don't let that fool you. The tables were clean and well-kept, making it an easy place to sit and enjoy your food. Hands down, the best garlic shrimp I've ever had. Loaded with tons of real garlic and served over rice, every bite was flavorful and satisfying. I'd come back just for this.

~ * Packed with Flavor * ~ Inside a food court, upstairs of Hmart! (free 1 hr parking) Fast service! I brought it back home with me to Cali and it still tasted the same heated up

Half portion of spicy shrimp with garlic rice. YUM!!!

Pre-kids we enjoyed driving to the other locations when visiting Oahu but this location is a much easier experience with tired kiddos tagging along. Air conditioned, clean tables, proper bathrooms, no flies and easy parking. SAME amazing spicy shrimp. Kids did not want shrimp but enjoyed fried chicken and acai bowl from another vendor there. We are so happy to have this location as an easy option.

Garlic-Packed Scampi & Heartfelt Service Food (5 / 5): I ordered the Scampi Shrimp with Rice, and it was superb. The garlic flavor really shines without being overpowering, and it pairs perfectly with the well-cooked rice. The shrimp were a good size and cooked just right -- tender, not overdone. My parents are visiting Hawaii for the first time and they genuinely loved this meal. At around $17 a plate, it's a great value for the quality and portion. Service (5 / 5): I want to give a special shoutout to one of the employees who is deaf. Even without hearing, he went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. I also really appreciate businesses that create opportunities for individuals with disabilities -- and honestly, that team member deserves a raise. Ambience / Décor: The restaurant is located upstairs inside H Mart in a small food court setting. We went on a Tuesday night around 7pm and there were plenty of seats available for our family of four. It's casual, clean, and comfortable -- easy place to sit down and enjoy a warm plate of food. Overall: Flavorful scampi, fair pricing, and genuinely memorable service make this spot worth visiting. Not comparing it to any other location -- just judging it on its own -- and it absolutely stands on its own merits. Definitely recommended.

This location is a must visit every time I'm in Honolulu. Located above the H Mart, this Giovanni's is in the corner of the food court. Parking in the attached garage is free for the first 90 mins. Register your vehicle plate as it is now license plate based. We usually come early before dinner to avoid the crowds and have plenty of seating. They are always consistent with the flavor and buttery garlic goodness. You can split the plate with a friend or be like me and devour the entire thing in one sitting.

Love this place! Their shrimp is super flavorful, so rice is a must! Their portion size is pretty good with a generous amount of shrimp. The truck is often alongside Jenny's Shrimp Truck as well (which I honestly prefer...), but Giovanni's is definitely more popular. It super crowded and hard to find seating, but there are always chickens running around :)

    Chris R.

Def recommend this place even though this place is surrounded and crowded by tourists this place is killah! Get the shrimp scampi with extra garlic sauce it comes with two swoops of rice make sure you also sign their food truck with your name Food is excellent and customer service is amazing. I made a lot of friends in my time in Hawaii during Christmas and new years break! Will beback soon Mahalo!

If you're staying in Waikiki and there's a Giovanni's location nearby, there is no need to drive to the OG truck unless you really want the true Giovanni's experience. This location is inside of H Mart in the second floor dining hall with other food vendors. When I went for dinner there was no line and there were plenty of tables available for dining. The shrimp tasted just like the shrimp from the truck, though if I had to make any comparison, my batch did taste a bit saltier than I am used to. Maybe this was a one-off but the shrimp was still delicious. Parking in the area is okay since there is a parking lot for the grocery store but street parking is also available. Since I went for dinner, the area did look a bit sketch after dark so keep that in mind as well.

Last year, I went to North Shore with the plan to try Giovanni's but the line was massive and did not get a chance to try. When I found out there was a Giovanni's located inside Hmart, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to go. There are other surrounding restaurants and the place had no line. The food came out quickly and the food court is air conditioned!!! I ordered the Scampi plate! The garlic rice is flavorful as well as the shrimp! The shrimp is slightly pre-peeled for you, which makes it very easy to eat. There is plenty of seating and it's overall a great vibe here.

    Kara B.

I love that we didn't have to drive all the way around the island for some Giovanni's. Ordered and didn't have to wait too long for my order. They call out your number through the intercom, so just keeps your ears open. When we got the shrimp, we love how it was easy to peel. Only junkie was there's no shrimp head lol. So you pay the price for not a full shrimp. Anyway, still was yummy. Will come back when craving :)

And we just can't go here anymore unless changes are made! We used to prefer them over Zippy's, but now they are less than 7-Eleven quality, while charging higher-end prices for the neighborhood. We have given them many chances, hoping it was just a fluke, but we have repeatedly been disappointed. Their chicken has become chewy and fatty, their rice is mediocre, and condiments such as mayonnaise are stripped down to the bare minimum quantity. Chile is poured so lightly that it is practically a minuscule amount. And their prices have continued to rise. I don't know if greedy people took over the restaurant who just don't care anymore, or what is going on. I remember when I used to take people here, and they would be impressed with the quality and quantity--plates just heaping with good cuts of meat, noodles, and rice. Those days are no more. As they say in Japan, the price performance is poor. Furthermore, their staff is rude. I can only imagine it was an owner working this day because it was a face I haven't seen that often. An older gentleman who appeared to be of Okinawan descent, working the cashier register, accosted us because I was privately discussing with my family about splitting different items with them. We were all ordering something, so he wasn't losing any money, but he told us about how prices are double in Waikīkī. First of all, it is rude to interrupt your customers that way. Secondly, we don't go to Waikīkī or care about Waikīkī. What happened to serving the locals? Third, Waikīkī has an assortment of restaurants, prices, and qualities, and they shouldn't be how you base your services. Lastly, I guarantee I could find a better deal in Waikīkī if I wanted to. Next time you're in the area, just go get a $6 bento or a $5 burrito from 7-Eleven next door. I assure you, the price performance and experience will be better. If Rainbow Drive-In is in the business of comparing themselves to other things, let's compare them to 7-Eleven and at least try to be better than them, right? I can get mochiko chicken from 7-Eleven for $6.99 that is similar in portion size and better quality. Meanwhile, they are serving their fatty, dry chicken for $16.75. Highway robbery! And they are not fancy, with their dirty picnic tables and plastic cutlery. They are just a step above a food truck, if that. Save yourself from the hype. They have gone downhill like a landslide. Go elsewhere.

It's been a few years since I've gone to a Jolly Bee and I had imagined the spaghetti to only be sweet and savory. It was actually pretty good! (Not in an Italian way though. It was a little spicy, which I loved! I wasn't expecting it to be spicy so it was a very pleasant surprise! It was a tad sweet...just the right amount! I arrived around 5:40 PM, but getting into the parking lot took longer than expected because of the very long drive-thru line and limited parking. Once inside, I waited about 5 minutes at the counter before anyone acknowledged me. I was the only customer waiting inside. I even stood near the online pickup area for a while, hoping someone would ask if I needed help, but several employees walked by without acknowledging me. Two cashiers looked in my direction multiple times but continued their conversation instead of checking whether I was waiting for an order. I finally interrupted to let them know I was there for an online pickup and gave them my name. Unfortunately, there seemed to be confusion about my order. One employee pointed to another, who then pointed back to the first employee while continuing to prepare food. No one was able to tell me whether my order was ready. Thankfully, an employee wearing a different colored shirt (a manager I'm assuming) noticed I hadn't been helped. She immediately apologized, asked for my name, checked on my order, and informed the kitchen that more chicken needed to be prepared. Shortly after, another manager also stepped in, apologized, and helped get everything together. I finally left with my order at 6:09 PM, nearly 40 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. The food was fresh, delicious, and the restaurant itself was clean, which is why I'm giving 5 stars for the food and cleanliness. However, this isn't the first time I've had to wait an unusually long time just to be acknowledged for an online pickup. In the past, my food has at least been ready once someone finally helped me. This visit was different because not only was I ignored, but my order also wasn't ready. I understand that restaurants are fast-paced environments and that unexpected staffing shortages can happen if someone calls out sick. However, there appeared to be plenty of staff working during my visit. My concern wasn't the number of employees--it was the lack of communication, urgency, and teamwork. I believe additional customer service and workflow training could help employees become more productive and ensure that customers, especially those picking up online orders, are acknowledged promptly. A simple greeting such as, "We'll be right with you," or "Let me check on your order," would have made a significant difference. Good communication goes a long way and leaves customers feeling valued, even during busy times.

Everything was very nice and fresh, fries were hot and crispy nothing really negative to say...just that it was boring for me personally and yes the order came rather fast making me think it was already made and kept warm didn't bother me the choices was very minimal and no other added flavors like hot and spicy or sauce options during this hot summer was made even on this National Fried Chicken Day.

Everything about this little shop is awesome. I believe the owner was there to take our order and…read morethe menu is pretty straight forward. At the time, he stated that him and his partner were in a competition to see how many triples they could sell, but figured I'd keep that in the back of my mind for our next visit. We came here on a recommendation from my boyfriend's coworker and I'm glad we came! The burgers and fries were made fresh. There are only a hand full of tables inside and a small bar area, but there is also outdoor seating outside, too! A neat fact is that there were pictures posted from when the shop first opened up and to see They Daley as a fixture in Chinatown is amazing since they've stuck around and adapted to the development around. The burger was delicious, too. They have an aioli sauce that was good with diced up pickles. Usually I request no pickles but the small bursts really added to the texture and feel of the burger overall. 10/10 would come again!

This was my first visit to The Daley in years ... I love their burgers, and most time their fries,…read morebut my last order was left wanting. I'm pleased to report that this latest order contained a perfectly prepared burger and a bag of crispy fries (as ordered). The remaining nitpicks were: 1) having to wait an additional 10 minutes past the time the order was supposed to be ready, 2) paying $6 for a bag of fries. Increase the price of the burger by $1 and reduce the price of the fries. Yes, the total would be the same but the value would be where it belongs. In any case, $10 is money well spent for a great burger.

I have sinned by passing by this place whilst on my run... I had a mishap of trying the blueberry…read morecream cheese scone the first time and didn't care for it... But I decided to give it another chance... I thoroughly enjoyed it! I think I came on an off day before. The scone was moist but not to the point where it was squishy and it went well with the cream cheese and nothing to complain about the size - their scones are huger than your average scone. Definitely thoroughly satisfied with the scone this time as opposed to my previous visit! I would recommend the blueberry cream cheese scone. I feel like all of their cakes are goated but that is sinful slices. If I ate that lemon crunch cake I'd have to run Diamond Head multiple times and starve myself to offset the calories *cries* LOL.

Went there close to 3pm so after the lunch rush hour and before dinner. I thought there were only…read moretwo women waiting for their orders (although there could have been food orders) so I was surprised when I found out there were people waiting in their cars that ordered before me (is that a thing? Order and then wait in an air conditioned car?). But I guess you have to be directly in front of the pick up order window to hear them call out your number and these three groups knew the trick. So I actually waited a while (one of the cars had four orders) since everything is cooked to order. Parking is okay, while it seems crowded at times people visiting the market are in and out quickly so there were times when there were many space and other times just one or two. The food was very good. We ordered the Teri beef steak (rib eye). There was enough meat for two meals in my plate. The greens are nice (not romaine or ice berg). I believe they put a mustard based dressing at the bottom and then the greens so at first glance it looks like they forgot the dressing. But they put a lot of it. The meat reminded me of my mother's barbecue meat that she made when I was little. Nostalgic. I also like the desserts in the market. The harpist/sweet potato w/ Mac nut crust is way better than the Foodland one (although a bit more expensive) I remember when this location used to be Burgerland. I enjoyed it then and still enjoy it.
