We got the Hot and Spicy Shrimp, right after trying Jenny's right down the road. And would definitely recommend Jenny's Shrimp (like 200 feet away) if there is a huge line for Giovanni's. The Shrimp was very small and the hot sauce we are pretty sure was just Tabasco sauce lol. If you do come here definitely get the Shrimp Scampi instead of the spicy shrimp, the garlic shrimp is a lot better. Other than that you get to sign the truck too which I thought was a cool concept.

First time here and it was soooo good!!! Staff was friendly as well, and the food court area was very clean and nice to hangout in! Definitely would recommend the garlic shrimp!

I've eaten at their food truck in North shore several times but first time in this locations. I thought their garlic shrimp tasted much better. I usually don't really like how their rice is cooked(too mushy )but the rice at this location was great!

The shrimp was fresh, perfectly deveined, and came out piping hot. The employee gave us a heads-up to get the hot sauce on the side. They weren't kidding, it's seriously spicy! It's a casual walk-up spot in the food court at the top of H Mart, but don't let that fool you. The tables were clean and well-kept, making it an easy place to sit and enjoy your food. Hands down, the best garlic shrimp I've ever had. Loaded with tons of real garlic and served over rice, every bite was flavorful and satisfying. I'd come back just for this.

~ * Packed with Flavor * ~ Inside a food court, upstairs of Hmart! (free 1 hr parking) Fast service! I brought it back home with me to Cali and it still tasted the same heated up

Half portion of spicy shrimp with garlic rice. YUM!!!

Pre-kids we enjoyed driving to the other locations when visiting Oahu but this location is a much easier experience with tired kiddos tagging along. Air conditioned, clean tables, proper bathrooms, no flies and easy parking. SAME amazing spicy shrimp. Kids did not want shrimp but enjoyed fried chicken and acai bowl from another vendor there. We are so happy to have this location as an easy option.

Garlic-Packed Scampi & Heartfelt Service Food (5 / 5): I ordered the Scampi Shrimp with Rice, and it was superb. The garlic flavor really shines without being overpowering, and it pairs perfectly with the well-cooked rice. The shrimp were a good size and cooked just right -- tender, not overdone. My parents are visiting Hawaii for the first time and they genuinely loved this meal. At around $17 a plate, it's a great value for the quality and portion. Service (5 / 5): I want to give a special shoutout to one of the employees who is deaf. Even without hearing, he went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. I also really appreciate businesses that create opportunities for individuals with disabilities -- and honestly, that team member deserves a raise. Ambience / Décor: The restaurant is located upstairs inside H Mart in a small food court setting. We went on a Tuesday night around 7pm and there were plenty of seats available for our family of four. It's casual, clean, and comfortable -- easy place to sit down and enjoy a warm plate of food. Overall: Flavorful scampi, fair pricing, and genuinely memorable service make this spot worth visiting. Not comparing it to any other location -- just judging it on its own -- and it absolutely stands on its own merits. Definitely recommended.

This location is a must visit every time I'm in Honolulu. Located above the H Mart, this Giovanni's is in the corner of the food court. Parking in the attached garage is free for the first 90 mins. Register your vehicle plate as it is now license plate based. We usually come early before dinner to avoid the crowds and have plenty of seating. They are always consistent with the flavor and buttery garlic goodness. You can split the plate with a friend or be like me and devour the entire thing in one sitting.

Love this place! Their shrimp is super flavorful, so rice is a must! Their portion size is pretty good with a generous amount of shrimp. The truck is often alongside Jenny's Shrimp Truck as well (which I honestly prefer...), but Giovanni's is definitely more popular. It super crowded and hard to find seating, but there are always chickens running around :)

    Chris R.

Def recommend this place even though this place is surrounded and crowded by tourists this place is killah! Get the shrimp scampi with extra garlic sauce it comes with two swoops of rice make sure you also sign their food truck with your name Food is excellent and customer service is amazing. I made a lot of friends in my time in Hawaii during Christmas and new years break! Will beback soon Mahalo!

If you're staying in Waikiki and there's a Giovanni's location nearby, there is no need to drive to the OG truck unless you really want the true Giovanni's experience. This location is inside of H Mart in the second floor dining hall with other food vendors. When I went for dinner there was no line and there were plenty of tables available for dining. The shrimp tasted just like the shrimp from the truck, though if I had to make any comparison, my batch did taste a bit saltier than I am used to. Maybe this was a one-off but the shrimp was still delicious. Parking in the area is okay since there is a parking lot for the grocery store but street parking is also available. Since I went for dinner, the area did look a bit sketch after dark so keep that in mind as well.

Last year, I went to North Shore with the plan to try Giovanni's but the line was massive and did not get a chance to try. When I found out there was a Giovanni's located inside Hmart, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to go. There are other surrounding restaurants and the place had no line. The food came out quickly and the food court is air conditioned!!! I ordered the Scampi plate! The garlic rice is flavorful as well as the shrimp! The shrimp is slightly pre-peeled for you, which makes it very easy to eat. There is plenty of seating and it's overall a great vibe here.

    Kara B.

I love that we didn't have to drive all the way around the island for some Giovanni's. Ordered and didn't have to wait too long for my order. They call out your number through the intercom, so just keeps your ears open. When we got the shrimp, we love how it was easy to peel. Only junkie was there's no shrimp head lol. So you pay the price for not a full shrimp. Anyway, still was yummy. Will come back when craving :)

Made sure to come here the first night I landed so I did not miss out and could see if it lived up to the hype. It did. It is such a fun place to feel like you are having a picnic. You know this place is good since there is a steady line of people ordering bags and bags of food. Just to say, this is another must-do must-try place for food. We was super excited to have the mixed plate with gravy. It was beef, chicken and fish with rice and mac salad. It was huge and perfect. It tasted amazing and I would order this again and again. We had two of those. We also tried the loco moco and classic dish, and the saimin, which I had always wanted to try. One child also ordered the BBQ pork sandwich which she enjoyed and since it was a small menu item could help with the mix plate, which is impossible to finish in one sitting. I was stuffed and in woman versus food, food won overwhelmingly. I wish I had room to try the slush and ice cream or other items, but I could not eat another bite. So many items on the menu were very tempting and I am sad I only got to visit here one time. Now I've had a lot of these in my life, and I must say, Iyasume are easily the best. See musubi and onigiri have humble origins as a quickly made homespun snack or on the go lunch, and when you spot them in the convenience environment they're often a giant ball of rice with a tinge of protein or seasoning for flavor. At Iyasume, these are culinary adventures, stacked with ingredients, all in handheld form, and the variety they offer is IMPRESSIVE! Of course musubi starts with the classic, SPAM. I had to order the kimchi + spam, shiso + spam, and unagi + tamago + spam, all of which were awesome (even the next day!). Onigiri here are actually layered with ingredients, so you get them in every bite, unlike the convenience store versions! They have a HUGE menu, and I went with spicy mentaiko and salmon, spicy mentaiko and ikura, ikura and salmon, and tuna mayo curry, all of which were great. I LOVE that they make these to order. You can see the line in the back hard at work, and they're very fast. You're sure to encounter a line when you arrive, but don't be scared, it moves quickly. I only had to wait about 5 minutes for mine to come up! Well worth it. Reasonably priced. Very filling. A taste of Hawaii and Japan in one place that'll have everyone smiling!

It's been a few years since I've gone to a Jolly Bee and I had imagined the spaghetti to only be sweet and savory. It was actually pretty good! (Not in an Italian way though. It was a little spicy, which I loved! I wasn't expecting it to be spicy so it was a very pleasant surprise! It was a tad sweet...just the right amount! (There isn't a 3-piece combo on the menu, but the server was kind enough to accommodate my request for an extra piece of chicken.) It came with a container of gravy that made me wonder what it was for, immediately. Then I remembered all the commercials and YouTube videos where food reviewers either slathered their chicken with the gravy or they dunked it into the gravy. Usually I request no pickles but the small bursts really added to the texture and feel of the burger overall. 10/10 would come again!

This was my first visit to The Daley in years ... I love their burgers, and most time their fries,…read morebut my last order was left wanting. I'm pleased to report that this latest order contained a perfectly prepared burger and a bag of crispy fries (as ordered). The remaining nitpicks were: 1) having to wait an additional 10 minutes past the time the order was supposed to be ready, 2) paying $6 for a bag of fries. Increase the price of the burger by $1 and reduce the price of the fries. Yes, the total would be the same but the value would be where it belongs. In any case, $10 is money well spent for a great burger.

I almost didn't want to post so I could keep this all to myself! My cousin told me about this spot…read more-- she's a fellow elite yelper so naturally I had to check it out. It's a small bakery with fresh pastries, sandwiches, drinks, cakes. But the real reason I went was for the freshly baked scones! My fave was the blueberry scone - melts in your mouth brah! It was warm, not too sweet and a touch of cream cheese. It wasn't overpowering-- My son loved the banana scone and he's the pickiest eater!! . I even tried their fresh biscuits - like buttah baby! Totally drool worthy!!! I would definitely go try them out! 6 minute drive from Waikiki area! You won't regret it!!! Go Support local business. I gave it 5 star because I k ow I will crave this every time!

I've been here plenty of times... usually to get the blueberry scones and a few times for lunch…read more But today I knew I wanted a plate lunch but from where? A simple Reddit search mentioned Diamond Head as their favorite and I thought oh, yeah I like that spot! For $32 total- I ordered the surf and turf sub Mac salad. It came with Teriyaki beef, Char Siu pork, Teriyaki chicken, a small portion of grilled Ahi with ginger & 2 small Garlic Shrimp. The food was amazing!!! However, I may be partial to my tutu's Mac salad. This one had too many veggies in it ; ). I would not suggest the up charge to substitute the green salad it comes with. Judging by the picture... do you think $32 is too much... I'm kind of thinking yes. Next time I'll just choose one meat.
