Always good coffee! Been to their other locations but this was my first time stopping at their Grand Central Market spot. Glad to have great espresso while shopping for more food!

Drinks were watered down. Service was friendly and very fast despite being 12pm on the weekend. Ambiance in Grand Central Downtown LA so lots of people inside. I'd recommend another option for coffee. The matcha was the best out of the 2. I'd order the matcha again. Not the Macadamia Latte. Iced Honey Matcha Latte: 4/5 Iced Almond Macadamia Latte: 1/5

Stopped by Go Get Em Tiger before watching a soapbox race down the street and desperately needed a coffee. The barista was friendly and welcoming. They have seating around the bar and there's tables all over the food hall so plenty of seating. I ordered the lil' sweetie, got it half as sweet but I wish I only asked for a little less sweet. It was good though, good tasting espresso. It is a smaller drink since it is a shaken espresso so be prepared for that. Over all it was a nice experience.

Would definitely return for coffee next time at Grand Central Market. I had a dirty chai latte made with in house chai (always gotta try it) and this one was legit- always love a heart pour. Made with the in house macadamia almond milk. Husband had Americano which was very good too.

Been here a few times now and their staff are always super friendly and they make the drinks quick and on the spot! There isn't much of a line but it's almost like a bar. You walk up, they take your order, and make it right in front of you! It's located inside the Grand Central Market by the entrance so you'll see it immediately. The iced almond macadamia nut latte is what I typically get! This is such a unique drink and strong! The macadamia nut flavor really pulls through. Lots of seating and tables here but this place gets packed real quick, especially on weekends. Nice vibe tho and great quality drinks! IG: @ammysalamii

I got the "Business and Pleasure" drink not really knowing exactly what I got. I ended up with a flight of drinks - an espresso shot (business), an almond chilled cappucino, and a fizzy tea (pleasure). It was pretty good! One star less just because I want to go back and try their other drinks. I don't think this really captured the cafe's quality. This cafe is inside Grand Central Market, right across from "The Angels Flight". Came during opening hours and the employees are nice. Lots of seating including bar seating around the cafe.

I ordered the Matcha latte when the store opened. I can't help, but to notice that the server poured out the hot water canister, and did not wash it, I assumed that it was from the day before. I got weirded by that, to be honest because it's at grand Central market, you kinda have to be a bit clean because I don't know what crawled into it overnight. And as a person with a sensitive stomach, this is not OK.

The only sweetener option is liquid syrup? Weird! Good thing I always roll with my ow Splenda. Anyway, I had a double espresso in regular coffee (double shot in the dark) and it was strong, the way I want it to be, but NOT flavorful. Not sure what kind of coffee they used but it was sour. Yuck.

I originally wanted to try the honey matcha but the barista said they were sold out. That was disappointing... nonetheless I asked for his recommendation and ordered the iced almond macadamia latte and to be frank it was underwhelming. I was imagining it to taste like the macadamia coffee in Hawaii but the flavor was nonexistent. All I tasted was the almond milk. It was okay. Nothing to rave about or want to order again. This location is within the GCM so it's very crowded and busy. No seating in front of the shop but there's an outdoor patio close by and some tables behind the counter.

Solid coffee option in DTLA. They have a pretty limited drink menu, but I found something I liked. The dark chocolate latte was hand shaken, and a good size. I appreciate that they accept inkind payment, which is the main reason I went to this stand. I don't think I would be willing to pay $8 full price for the latte, but I had cash back to use up which covered half of the price. Was a good pick me up for the rest of my work day.

Ordered the Business & Pleasure. Comes with a single origin espresso shot, a hoppy beer tasting non alcoholic but carbonated tea, and a macadamia latte. The shot's a good slap in the face, robust flavor. The second is a very mild and subtle sweetness with just light carbonation. My favorite is definitely on the "pleasure" side of the taster. Very forward nutty notes but keeps the coffee taste. I would have ordered the latte by itself. $7.50 for it is a good deal in my mind.

Didn't catch the girls name who took and made my order but she was so kind and benevolent. I'm very picky with matcha, however I really like this one. It's a little different than other matcha I've tried around dtla, might be the milk that compliments it really well. I've come here twice after it became a "gget" and both times have been consistently good.

Fast service makes this spot an easy go-to. The Matcha Latte is decent and Lil' Sweetie are enjoyable, though not particularly standout.

Had the honey almond milk latte which is apparently their most popular and it tasted like a plain latte, nothing special.

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. Given the small size of the shop, takeout is recommended, especially during peak hours. The sandwiches at AAV are so good! Fuggedaboutit!

The menu is not complicated or very large, and has a specialty item like a stuffed bread with different options named after possibly the founder of the restaurant. Khachapuri is the item, but we did not get it this time. We got a Chicken Ceaser Laffa wrap as well as a Chicken Parm and Bolognese sandwich. They did not take very long to get prepared and brought to our table. These are very good size sandwiches, you can easily eat it as two meals. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and helped us make our decision on what to order. It is a very bright place. Has odd artwork, not really a style or anything. A picture of a cow, a watercolor landscape. A fish chart. Something else that I forget.... Just odd, does not really work together, but oh well. Maybe these are from employees or were donated or something. But on to the sandwiches.... They were really good. I think I liked the Ceaser better than the chicken parm and Bolognese sandwich. But it was a hot day and the Ceaser was a bit more refreshing. The bread and wrap were good. Lots of sauce and dressing. Lots of stuff stuffed into the sandwiches. Good stuff. Parking can be tricky. I would like to try out some of the other menu items one of these days.

If you're visiting the area, I highly recommend making a stop here. My biggest piece of advice is to go early because it gets incredibly busy by lunchtime--and for good reason! Keep in mind they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. While you can order online, I'll always choose to go inside so I can browse everything they have to offer. Their selection of fresh pasta salads is fantastic, and the desserts are always tempting. Whether you're craving lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, a chicken Parmesan sandwich, or one of their many other Italian specialties, you really can't go wrong. Be sure to check out the wine section in the back left of the market. It's extensive and absolutely incredible! This is the kind of place that keeps people coming back year after year, and it's easy to see why. Being Italian American and growing up with an Italian mother who loved feeding everyone, this was one of our favorite places to visit together. Those memories make every trip here even more special. My personal favorite is the Godmother sandwich--hands down one of the best you'll ever have. It's packed with flavor, made with quality ingredients, and it's the sandwich I find myself craving every time I come back. One of the things I love most about this place is the atmosphere. It has an energy that immediately makes you think of family. Everyone is genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to help, making you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. It has that warm, old-school Italian family vibe that's becoming harder and harder to find, and it's a big part of what makes this place so special.

It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. I normally would save a half for another meal but my "Pasadena" hit the spot that I finished it up all at once. Quality bread, meats, cheese, fillings aka all the ingredients...to boot!
