Went there Friday afternoon. Market was busy. Fortunately no lines at this place. I've had their coffee before and I've enjoyed them. This time I got their matcha latte. I went to GCM to check out the World Cup viewing party and stumbled upon this coffee bar. You really have to be proactive to get the servers attention for the menu, but once you get their attention, you're greeted by warmth and friendliness. I ordered their 'One + One' and the shot of espresso and cappuccino came out quickly! The espresso wasn't really to my taste since it was pretty acidic, but once mixed into the cappuccino it was better. Eh, I don't get it. People seem to clamor for the hazelnut latte here, but it is pretty awful. We were expecting a solid latte with a hazelnut undertone, but what we got was a poorly pulled shot of espresso combined with a weird nut flavor that just made the whole thing taste burnt. Took forever to come out and tasted bad. Really see no reason to ever return. read more

I always pick up an iced turmeric latte when at GGET. It's so good! I also ordered an iced honey matcha for my son (he said it was good). This spot gets very busy as it's at one of the entrances at grand central market. Service was friendly. Not much room to sit as it was pretty packed, this was after 11am. Stopped by Go Get Em Tiger before watching a soapbox race down the street and desperately needed a coffee. The barista was friendly and welcoming. They have seating around the bar and there's tables all over the food hall so plenty of seating. I ordered the lil' sweetie, got it half as sweet but I wish I only asked for a little less sweet. It was good though, good tasting espresso. It is a smaller drink since it is a shaken espresso so be prepared for that. Over all it was a nice experience. read more

Would definitely return for coffee next time at Grand Central Market. I had a dirty chai latte made with in house chai (always gotta try it) and this one was legit- always love a heart pour. Made with the in house macadamia almond milk. Husband had Americano which was very good too. read more

Been here a few times now and their staff are always super friendly and they make the drinks quick and on the spot! There isn't much of a line but it's almost like a bar. You walk up, they take your order, and make it right in front of you! It's located inside the Grand Central Market by the entrance so you'll see it immediately. I got the "Business and Pleasure" drink not really knowing exactly what I got. I ended up with a flight of drinks - an espresso shot (business), an almond chilled cappucino, and a fizzy tea (pleasure). It was pretty good! One star less just because I want to go back and try their other drinks. I don't think this really captured the cafe's quality. This cafe is inside Grand Central Market, right across from "The Angels Flight". Came during opening hours and the employees are nice. I originally wanted to try the honey matcha but the barista said they were sold out. That was disappointing... nonetheless I asked for his recommendation and ordered the iced almond macadamia latte and to be frank it was underwhelming. Solid coffee option in DTLA. They have a pretty limited drink menu, but I found something I liked. The dark chocolate latte was hand shaken, and a good size. I appreciate that they accept inkind payment, which is the main reason I went to this stand. Ordered the Business & Pleasure. Comes with a single origin espresso shot, a hoppy beer tasting non alcoholic but carbonated tea, and a macadamia latte. The shot's a good slap in the face, robust flavor. The second is a very mild and subtle sweetness with just light carbonation. My favorite is definitely on the "pleasure" side of the taster. Gave this place a second try, but still came out disappointed. I opted for their Salted Dark Chocolate Mocha with Oat Milk. Drink barely had any coffee flavor and a lackluster chocolate flavor in the coffee. To put it simply, it was essentially brown water with a hint of chocolate flavor. The noise level can be a little high, but that is the nature of grand central. Staff at the register were extremely friendly and even set me up with a napkin and lid as I briefly waited for them to prepare my drink. I was a little surprised that it was prepared so quickly. I ordered an iced almond milk latte. As I walked back to my office, I noticed that the drink tasted light and watery and unfortunately found that this latte style wasn't for me. Regardless, this is a nice spot to take a break and enjoy a quality caffeine beverage. The Espresso comes with carbonated cold tea - classy. The Cappuccino is full and tasty. The service was agreeable and There are lots of great places to eat and drink in Grand Central Market, but Go Get Em Tiger is currently the only coffee shop vendor here.
