I seriously cannot give enough stars! Walk in, greeted by Mason, right away, sat down with menus he brings out a gluten-free menu out of habit. How amazing is that? Making sure that all customers can have a menu. The gluten-free menu? Absolutely ginormous! The regular peoples menu :-) was huge as well. I have the spring rolls, I don't know what the dipping sauce was made of, maybe unicorn glitter? I'm not sure it was the best sauce I've had in my entire life. Had general TSO's chicken probably the best I've had in my entire life seriously! Worse experience ever. The owner is rude, unkind, and disrespectful. We've come back because the food is good, but this was our last time. This was not the first time we have a bad experience. The tables are always sticky, there was trash in the floor-pieces of paper And dirty dishes on the tables. We took our family who is visiting from abroad tonight. The music was annoying and loud. Not appropriate for a meal and being able to talk with your family. We kindly asked him to lower the volume and if he could pick a different type of music. Raising his armes he raised his voice and told us they he spent $10,000 installing the sound and speakers system. Totally inappropriate, out of place. Food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The owner greeted us personally while we ate to check in.

Service was excellent. The waiter was able to help me choose a great beverage to drink. The ginger mojito drink is very refreshing and the ginger was strong and flavor but not overpowering. The ambience was family oriented and date night vibes. We ordered the chicken pad Thai noddles and the ginger vegetable fried rice. I woke up one day last week CRAVING lo mein. I wanted it so bad I was hallucinating the smell of it in my apartment. But my mom, whom I'm quarantining with, doesn't much like Chinese food--she prefers Thai. So I Googled a bit and found Goji's menu, which has lo mein and some Thai curries. First of all, huge props to this restaurant's owners for continuing safe social distancing measures. Goji is only offering curbside pickup, and the person who gave us our food was wearing a mask. Secondly, the food was absolutely amazing. The lo mein definitely fulfilled my craving, and the prices were super reasonable for the quantity and quality of food that I received. I will probably get takeout from here again, and will definitely go for in-house dining as soon as it's safe to do so! read more

It doesn't appear that the Chef is tasting the product coming out of his kitchen. This is our second time getting Goji take out and, honestly, it will be the last. The food does not live up to the beautiful pics posted online. The food is spectacularly bland. We had vegetable moo shoo, pineapple fried rice and goji hot fish. The rice and moo shoo had no real depth of flavor,and the fish was just ok. Pineapple fried rice should be a little sweet, but it was not. The overpowering taste was saffron. There were raisins in there, dark raisins. If you're going to pair raisins with pineapple, they should be golden. The pineapple was in large chunks. Pineapple should be smaller, diced, or closer to the size of the rice and I have no idea why there are shrimp in this dish. It adds nothing. The moo shoo was just nicely prepared cabbage and veggies but again without any real flavor. The interior of the restaurant is lovely and the food not inexpensive. There were only a couple of cars there on a Friday at. 5:45. This place could really work, if the food were great. We don't plan to return. If they want people coming back someone in the kitchen needs to TASTE what's coming out of the kitchen. read more

We drove up to Cary to see a movie and visited Goji Bistro for the first time. As soon as we walked in one of the owners greeted us. It's very beautiful inside and has a nice comfortable feel. Great draft beer selection, a full bar, sake choices along with a diverse but not too large menu. We settled on their homemade pork dumplings to start. They were lightly pan seared to that perfect crispness on the bottom. We shared the Kung Pao chicken and their spicy fish (flounder) dish, asking for both to be a 4 out of 5 heat- yes we like things spicy. They also provide you the choice of white, brown or fried rice to go with each dish. Everything was very tasty - the veggies in both dishes were not over cooked and both sauces very good. Even though they only had one server she was friendly, kind and served us at the right pace. We will absolutely be back - try it and you won't be disappointed! read more

I normally do not write reviews for any sort of thing. However, I wanted to share how great of an experience I had at Goji Bistro. The husband and I decided to try some place out of our normal bunch and it was to die for. The volcano shrimp was my absolute favorite, and my husband loved the Mongolian dinner! I would also like to point out the wonderful server we had. Couldn't forget a beautiful name like Noor. She was so sweet and welcoming! Made us laugh and even recommended us the delicious shrimp! She definitely added to the experience, but overall we will absolutely be coming back for more! read more

First, they said it's Mother's Day so no lunch menu and you just order from the dinner menu. I would understand not serving lunch bc they had a special Mother's Day menu, but this just amounted to it's Mother's Day so we just want to make more money. We have a winner! The place is a little help with the lights in the music. It's family friendly, and the food is delicious. The way it was long. They said they were running on only one cook. I don't know if that's normal on a Sunday night or somebody called in sick. I got the candied walnut shrimp, which was good, but not hot. The waiter said they serve it at room temperature, which I just simply don't believe. It comes with broccoli, which was very tasty, but also lukewarm and again I just don't believe that. I've had that dish at other restaurants, and it should come hot. And I got the basil eggplant that comes with some veggies and I added tofu. It was excellent. I love a good Thai basil taste. Oh the edamame was great too. They didn't have any wasabi though. I brought home a fish dish. It's called dry fish but it's not dry. I say we have a winner because my son liked it. We really love going to Goji Bistro at 100 Maynard Crossing in Cary.   Open everyday for Lunch and Dinner, there is also a full service bar for anything else.   We enjoy pretty much everything on the menu.  Our favorites though are Egg Roll, Edamame, Crab & Cream Cheese Crisps, Classic Fried Rice with Chicken & Shrimp, the Ramen, and the Wonton and Egg Drop Soups.   We had a celebratory dinner here this past weekend.  This visit was pretty unique.  It was one of the busiest nights we've seen at Goji (clearly word has spread across Cary).  The serving and management staff were doing an outstanding job with pace, and getting things out of the kitchen as quickly as they could.  When our food arrived to the table it actually almost tasted the best it ever has.  Goji Bistro just keeps raising the bar and impressing us to come back again, and again.  Orion, Ken, and Pablo really blew us away this particular night.  Really on top of everything and so friendly and accommodating.  Wow - incredible service.   Try them out for Lunch or Dinner if you haven't already been.  100 Maynard Crossing Court in Cary, almost at the intersection of High House & NW Maynard, next to Volvo of Cary. read more

Every time I come to Cary to visit my family, one of my first stops is Goji Bistro. I love this place not only for the ahhhh-mazing food that is tasty, fresh and reasonably priced, but also for the one-of-a-kind-BEST-ever mojitios. Ken has perfected his recipe for these unique hand-made drinks and I can honestly say they're the best I've ever had anywhere! Been there two times and both times was a disaster spent twenty minutes without drinks after ordering them our server completely disappeared they only have two wait staff at a time and it's woefully inadequate I really cannot believe or understand how it has so many good reviews. read more

A couple years ago we tried Goji due to few Asian restaurants having GF options. We had a terribly rememberable experience. It took a long time to get our food ordered, then it took an HOUR for the food to come out, it was cold and not good. We had children in tow whose food was cold too. I complained that night and we vowed never to go back. Well being GF I keep seeing great reviews on FB and we decided to try again. We were told to sit anywhere. It took about 10 minutes to get menus. We placed drink orders (2 lemonades and a coke...nothing fancy). 20 minutes later, no drinks, server disappeared. We flagged someone down who said no order was placed. We legit saw someone from another table flagging us down and signaling not to eat there. We waited about 30 minutes total and ended up getting up and leaving. Zero stars if it was an option. read more

The food at Goji is delicious and their ingredients are fresh. I used to order a bunch for work and catering events. The owner Diana and her family are great to work with and with catering, the food is always a crowd pleaser. Today I ordered via the phone for takeout. It was very easy and safe. When you arrive, pull in a designated spot, text them the spot number and the food is brought out to your car. We ordered the moo goo ga pan, Mongolian steak, lettuce wraps , egg rolls and the general Tso chicken. The general Tso chicken is super spicy so be sure you can handle the heat. The Mongolian steak and beef broccoli are my personal favorites and also the moo goo gain pan which is very healthy with lots of vegetables. I've been there for many years. Enjoyed the food and service. Today, I called and ordered. As is common, they said to pick up my food in 15-20 minutes. After 45 minutes, I was getting upset. The hostess was unapologetic. Just said, the kitchen is backed up, that's the way it is. Another gentleman came up, same story. All I was looking for was an apology. Just be nice. Instead, they were argumentative. I asked for the owner. Told him very nicely my disappointment. He again was unapologetic. Said the kitchen was backed up. The food will come when it comes. He then said he's very successful, and doesn't need my business. Never heard that before. He repeated it for good measure. So, after 20 years, going through all the name changes (Neo-china, Neo-Asia, goji bistro), he's lost my business. I think everyone else should know he's not interested in customers. read more

I came here in a group of three for lunch on a weekday. I got the spicy basil tofu, with basil, onion, red peppers, jalapenos and broccoli in a Thai basil brown sauce. It was delicious. My friends got the spicy basil chicken and kung pao tofu, which was stir-­fried with dry chili peppers. peanuts. mushrooms. yellow squash, zucchini, green and red bell peppers in a spicy brown sauce. Goji was empty when we arrived at lunch time on a Saturday. The decor was clean, bright and modern, but we had to wait two minutes for someone to come out of the back to seat us. Lunch prices are good, and we both chose from the lunch specials menu. My masamam chicken curry was slightly spicy and so big I got another meal out of it. My friend ordered the Royal Hawaiian because it had mushrooms, but he loved everything in it, especially the shrimp. Lunch specials come with soup, and I paid $1 more for the wonton soup. Excellent decision! It was loaded with wontons, chicken, fresh mushrooms, water chestnuts and even shrimp. Being the only ones there meant we had excellent, attentive service.
