Stopped here for a drink while waiting for our tacos to be done at another spot, we got the dodgers blonde ale with a tajin rim and it was super refreshing. The service was quick, the line can get a little crazy though. There's not much seating at the bar itself but you can take your drink and enjoy it anywhere inside the building. They also service food as well but not after 8:30/9 pm. I would only return here in I'm in the area

First time in the market was a little overwhelming on a Sunday with many people, so many options to choose from, got a coldie to calm the nerves! Great tasting beer. We've driven by the Huntington harbor location often and I've always wondered if it was worth stopping. So glad I know now that they have some decent beer! I had a mango cart michelada (highly recommend) and ordered a guava cart for my honey. So refreshing. The pub is right at the entrance where the angel flight railway is across the street, there is a bar but limited seating which was full, but no line at the time we went so we got our drinks pretty quickly. I probably wouldn't drive here specifically for this but if ever in the area or visiting the grand central market I'd have to make a stop again.

The Baseline: For a bar that also serves food the drinks must be good, the food offerings must fit the establishment, and the service needs to make the experience fun. Food: Just had drinks and the Golden Road beers were very tasty. The Mango Cart draft was hoppy and had a nice hint of mango. Very enjoyable. Service: Good solid service that was quick and efficient. Ambiance: Grand Central Market is a bustling and vibrant. Restrooms are public to the market. Seating at the bar was easy to get and it was comfortable but the environment is loud and sometimes hard to hear conversations.

I come here for the chicken tenders and fries or their burgers. Both are good choices, they do have other food items but I haven't tried it yet. Seems like their friend coconut calamari or shrimp is one to try also.

Did someone say...Tasty cold beer and Michiladas? Friendly service and good place to chill out and day drink.

One of the best places to get beers in DTLA. Stephanie is the best bartender. Her energy and knowledge of beer helps so much.

It was a Grand Central Market kind of night so my wife and I walked over and tried to figure out where to eat. After much deliberation, we saw some open seats and a menu with some burgers on it, so we sat down and ordered some food from Golden Road Brewing. This place had a nice vibe to it, the staff was super friendly, and the menu had the bar food you would generally want from a brewery on it. I ended up ordering the Spicy BBQ Burger on it and splitting an order of the chicken tenders and fries as our side dish. The french fries here were pretty solid, seasoned, and tasted pretty good, so no complaints there. The chicken tenders were super average and kind of just tasted like frozen chicken tenders, while the Spicy BBQ Burger was a bit of a mixed bag. Every aspect of the burger tasted good, except for the bacon. It's almost like they cooked the bacon at 900 degrees until it was rock hard and completely unenjoyable. When I broke a small piece of the bacon off, it basically turned to dust, it was truly awful. Overall, Golden Road Brewing was a mediocre experience and one I probably wouldn't try and relive. The service and the atmosphere was good, but the food just fell short and didn't leave much to want to return for.

4+ Conveniently located within the Grand Central Market with friendly service and a solid selection of different beer styles. The corner of the market where it's located is giving off some microbrewery vibes. With all the food spots within the market - and I'm not sure if this place is the only spot or how many spots in the market are allowed to serve beer/wine - it's a great place to grab a beer with your food from other spots. Another option is just ordering food from here along with your beer. There are also a couple of televisions there and a wide seating area so you can watch some of the game while enjoying some food and beverages. I personally got a taco from another spot and came here to order a lager to wash down my meal. The Thursday Night Football game was on as well so it was kind of a great setup.

After a nice filling lunch at the Grand Central Market, what's next? Stopped by Golden Road Brewing to chill, relax, and take in LA. This market is so crowded and busy that you might feel like you need a moment to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. There's really no designated seating here, it's first come first serve tables. They have a decent amount of food/snack choices. Came here to chill with a pour of a cold Mango cart. Beer is not my thing, but this is actually very nice. Highly recommend to check this place out if you're in the area.

Overall, our recent experiences have been solid. It's always great when an "old favorite" still feels like a good value. I miss some of the menu items like the lentil shepherd's pie, but we have very much enjoyed the hearty English breakfast. They also have a good selection of European beers on tap. Service has been friendly, but it is lightly staffed and pretty slow, so it's not a good place if you are in a hurry. They don't keep an eye on the patio, so if you sit out there, it's best to go inside and let them know. They also seem to have more rules than before - but I have to imagine these have come from experience. I don't think this is an ideal place to go with a large group. If it's a quiet night you might be able to pull tables together long-ways, but most tables seem ideal for 2-4. We come with our dog and sit on the patio when it isn't busy. The dog meals are massive (more food than ours eats in a whole day and she weighs 60 lbs). It's a good value, but beware if your dog is on a diet! Overall, my favorite thing is that genuinely feels like a pub, in that you can just come as you are and take your time without being rushed. A good fit for both locals and visitors in Pasadena.

Everyone had to purchase something, which is a fair policy, but it wasn't posted or mentioned until we were already inside. Had I known, we probably wouldn't have come in, since I was only looking for food and there was nowhere to comfortably lay a dish. Vibes of the pub were generally good, but our server was unexpectedly rude. Everyone inside wore wristbands designating whether they were 21+ or under 21, checked by the bouncer at the door. I already had my 21+ wristband on when I walked in, but this server still accused me of lying about my age and demanded to see my ID in front of a crowd of people. It was needlessly humiliating, and she was also curt to my entire party when taking our orders; she just seemed annoyed and irritated. That said, it was insanely busy, and I'm sure it was a frustrating shift. Just left a bad taste in my mouth, being singled out and treated like a child in front of people for no apparent reason.

The bartenders are friendly, attentive, and genuinely on top of things, which is a big reason we've kept coming back. Over time, we've even met some of the owners, and the place has always felt welcoming and well-run, even through ownership changes. That's why this last visit stood out and not in a good way. The bar was packed for the basketball games, and the staff was clearly hustling. Honestly, they could've used more support behind the bar for a crowd like that. Instead, one of the partners seemed to take on the role of... social host. He made sure people knew who he was, but didn't actually step in to help where it mattered. We've seen other partners jump behind the bar or run food when things get busy, so the contrast here was hard to miss. At times, it felt less like leadership and more like a running announcement tour. Meanwhile, the team that was actually working kept pushing through a packed house. The vibe took another hit with the TVs. With so many screens already locked on basketball, it didn't seem like a big ask to change just one on baseball. One of the bartenders even put it on, but a few minutes later, after a guest played into Mr. Big Shot's ego, he went and changed it right back. Just unnecessary, and honestly felt a little performative. We still like this place and really appreciate the staff who show up and do the work. But that interaction definitely left a different impression than what we've come to expect here.

Tucked away in the vibrant heart of Little Tokyo, Art District Brewing instantly caught my attention. The tap selection was impressive -- thoughtfully curated and clearly crafted with intention. But honestly? The food is what stole the show. I always love leaning on a server's recommendations, and this time it paid off beautifully. The chicken tenders arrived golden, perfectly crispy on the outside, and impossibly juicy within. Whether you're a craft beer obsessive or simply someone who appreciates great food in a great setting, Art District Brewing belongs on your LA itinerary.
