Before heading out to Manhattan Beach we were looking for a local spot to eat breakfast and Good Stuff Restaurant kept popping up so we decided to give it a try. Great service and the carne asada, beans and eggs were delicious. My son ordered pancakes and they were fluffy and very tasty.

Love this place! Perfect spot for breakfast. I went early on a Sunday, parking was easy and the feel of outside or indoor dining was amazing. The food WOW! The pancakes taste real AF not processed or anything the syrup was good too I know because I don't even like syrup and this one was worth it! We got chorizo chilaquiles, kids Mickey pancakes, World Cup wrap and a good meal. Everything was spectacular! The chorizo was def home made. It wasn't heavy it was something I've never experienced before. I enjoyed this place soo much!

Good Stuff is one of my favorite breakfast chains in Los Angeles. I have been to the RPV location, but this is my first time at the El Segundo one. I was happy to see it was just as pleasurable to dine in and the food was just as good. Our server was also very friendly and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Parking is also very easy. There's a large lot right out front. Inside is pretty large and the tables turn fast so there never seems to be too long of a line. For this visit, I chose a special which was the Chile Relleno Omelette. It was honestly really good and covered with feta and I would highly recommend. We also got a Cinnamon Roll and that was wonderful as well. I was happy to see they used glaze instead of cream cheese frosting and I would definitely get it again. Overall, it's a great option for breakfast or lunch and stop in at any of their locations if you get a chance.

The Good Stuff has become one of my favorite spots for a great breakfast -- the name definitely fits. The staff is incredible: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which makes every visit enjoyable. The food is consistently delicious, and you truly get the quality you're paying for. We've had Stephanie as our server twice now, and she has always been respectful, attentive, and very sweet. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, cozy, and inviting -- like a place that instantly feels like home.

We happened to be in the area and stopped in and the name really said it all. From the pancakes to the burgers, everything was truly 'Good Stuff.' The vibe is a perfect modern take on the classic diner, and our server was fantastic. A great find!

Picked up my brother at the airport for a long layover before heading to Vegas. We decided to eat brunch and this place has a good review. They have the regular brunch menu but i can say it tastes better than others. Geo was our server and he was fast and courteous. The reason for 4 start was when we first got in- there was an unusual smell( which we acclimated fast because it's too cold to sit at the patio. But the place was clean. Their WC was clean as well and it smells better

I cant get enough of the good stuff waffles!! I usually take them home, add a little bit of butter on a pan and crisp them very slightly, SOOO GOOD! 10/10. I go nearly every weekend.

The food was delicious. We had the street tacos, the hamburger sliders and my daughter had the chicken tenders. My street tacos were really good and had lots of flavor only thing I didn't like so much was the meat being so charred. My husband hamburger sliders was a10/10. Very juicy and had onions with it. My daughter loved her chicken sliders that came with fries. Everything was overall delicious. I would totally recommend this spot to eat.

The service was great with a table available on arrival and food delivered in 10minutes or so. Our cinnamon roll pancakes were a weekend special for $18 that came with the pancakes, eggs and sausage. All of the food was solid with nothing feeling "cheap" or skimpy. The ambiance and food felt like a "better Denny's". Honestly, the best part about this restaurant is the location: We had only 2 hours between flights and were able to get through customs, get to this restaurant, and back with plenty of time to spare. You won't find a better place for reasonable food at reasonable prices so close to LAX!

Still our go to spot for a quick and satisfying work lunch or lazy weekend breakfast. Staff knows us and brings our drinks (two iced teas one without lemon ) without even asking. Always kind, never in a rush and just a perfect small town eatery. Gluten free pancakes are delicious. Ortega Tuna melt is a definite favorite Carnitas breakfast tacos are delicious Bo's salad is ordered often by my family Zucchini Parmesan are kind of addicting Prices are still very fair even with inflation and you just can't go wrong with this place when you are wanting a simple, no frills, satisfying wholesome meal. Totally recommend.

Stopped in here for breakfast with the family on weekday during our trip. Cute little spot on the corner with outdoor or indoor dining. Both spaces were inviting and we opted to eat inside since it was a cooler day. Service was great, though we had a little struggle with understanding our waiter, but we muddled through and everything came out just as we ordered. Service was attentive without being overly annoying. We opted for the Bloody Mary and Mimosa to start and I got a large glass of the Moroccan mint iced tea. All were good, but the tea was my favorite. I got a cup to go before we left! I had the "Good Stuff Style" Huevos Rancheros. The tortilla was very crispy, eggs cooked perfectly, and the chili Verde was so very flavorful it was just not served as hot (temperature wise) as I wished it to be. I like my food to come out hot! History

Established in 1979.

Good Stuff Restaurants's history began with Cris Bennett, who worked as a busboy and had big dreams. In 1979, Cris' dreams became real. He and his father started the first Good Stuff restaurant: a little burger place in West L.A. It was a hit, everybody loved to eat at Good Stuff. Soon he expanded to Hermosa Beach, making his second success. Time passed, and the cities of Redondo Beach, El Segundo, and Palos Verdes were all given a Good Stuff establishment. While each of the Good Stuff locations are different, they have the same core values of great service, tasty food, and healthy options. Our theme is consistent: we offer Good Stuff. So, I have a new rating system......I will be write what I feel honestly about an establishment. The only ratings I will give are 5 stars, which is enjoyable, or 3 stars which is "needs work."

With the remodel, all ties to its past (the post office) have been removed. Now it is just a fancy Marie Calendars with no personality. For the first time ever, last night for Father's Day, I didn't see a single main dish item that interested me. We had all appetizers and salads. For some reason even the bacon biscuits underwhelmed. The flavor just wasn't as savory as I remember. The tomato salad had very sad tomatoes. The risotto lobster dish did not seem to have any risotto in it; it was all corn. The Muscles were good and the green beans were good. I also like the shrimp on toast, as strange as that sounded. I enjoyed the strawberry dessert as well. Thankfully, Justin, our waiter, took great care of us and made up for any disappointment we were experiencing. It seemed to me that this restaurant is now just an afterthought for the busy owners as they manage several venues. It is no longer the standout leader in town it once was.

Anyway, when we arrived, it was just after 10PM on a Friday night. Though the area was bustling, we were able to find easy street parking less than a block away. The restaurant was busy, but there were plenty of open tables. The place had a bit of the old diner type of vibe, but it was definitely more upscale and modern. We were greeted and seated right away. As we sat down, I saw some of the food being brought out and everything looked great. The menu was quite vast, so it took some time to decide. We decided to start out with the California Tots. They were a huge plate of crispy tots with cheese sauce, bacon and lots of other toppings. It was probably enough for us to share for dinner. However, I then had my mind set on the Tuna Manhattan, which was sort of a fancy tuna melt. The offered a regular tuna melt (off menu) if I preferred. The Tuna Manhattan was served on a bun with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a huge slice of avocado. It came with a side salad, fries, or soup. They also offered me some other sides I could substitute as well, such as onion rings or sweet potato fries. When I asked about the soup selection, they gave me four I could choose from. I ordered the French Onion. Anyway, the portions were generous and everything was delicious. It was also a great value for the amount and quality of food. The Kettle is open 24 hours. If you ever want late night (or anytime) eats in Manhattan Beach, I highly recommend The Kettle for a good solid meal.

But no worries, we love leftovers! Food is always so creative and wonderful.at Tin Roof. Although we no longer live in Manhattan, still one if our favorite restaurants. Food and service are stellar! We started with cocktails, and of course prepared by our favorite bartender / cocktail specialist extraordinaire, Clark. Off Your Head (Bloody Mary) and Ophella's White Sangria. Both were very tasty! Tin Roof has an excellent cocktail program as does their Simmzy's locations. We started out with Brussel Sprouts. Definitely a hit with the whole table. Tin Roof definitely has the best around, flavorful with a nice crunch, never soggy! We all ordered a variery of starters for our first course. Several had Ceasar Salads. Several had the Watermelon and Feta Salad. One had the Bloddy Mary Deviled Eggs, and another had the Fig; Pistashio, and Cottage Cheese Toast. Everyone loved what they ordered. We were full before our next courses arrived! Our server was Malcolm. He was very attentive even though it was an extremely busy afternoon since it was Father's Day. He was very helpful explaining some of the options only offered on today's menu. They offered a Bistro Burger (five out of six of us ordered!) and I wanted to know how different this burger was from their Simmzy's Burger (my personal favorite). He was spot on, explained it was smokey in flavor and quite different with the pretzel bun. It was so.good, served with fries (best shoestring fries!), onion rings, and piled so high you had to use a fork and knife to eat it! We left beyond full! Definitely we will be back soon!

Following a red-eye flight to Los Angeles, I recently visited Good Stuff Restaurant in El Segundo. The restaurant is situated at the corner of Grand and Richmond. I opted for the California omelette. Made with cage-free eggs, it featured a perfect blend of applewood smoked bacon, creamy avocado, earthy mushrooms, and melted jack cheese. The omelette was served with crispy hashbrowns and two delicious strawberry and Oreo muffins. Served warm, the strawberry and Oreo combination created a perfect balance of sweetness. The muffin exterior had a slight crispness, giving way to a moist and tender interior. The breakfast menu offers a diverse range, from classic eggs benedict to the tempting cinnamon roll french toast. For health-conscious diners, they have options like the vegan tofu scramble and beach body omelette. The loco moco, a Hawaii island favorite, was also a delightful surprise. The anytime lunch or dinner menu is equally impressive, covering everything from street tacos to burgers and more. The restaurant boasts a clean, casual, and bright atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was fast, friendly, and the portions were generous. I lucked out with street parking, but there's also a convenient lot adjacent to the restaurant. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Good Stuff is a must-visit. I dont live in El Segundo but I happen to be here. We walked in and the hostess greeted us with a smile but was direct. She told us it would be a 15 minute wait. Really it only 10 minutes. They left us with coffee and water. When we were called in, we were seated in a booth. Very quickly our waitress, Tessa greeted us. She asked what we wanted to drink. I just wanted water but my sister's wanted Apple juice. My mom got a bloody Mary, she said it was okay, not great. My sisters also got those kids coloring pages. Then we ordered. I got the traditional burger with brioche, chedder chese, and onions; no tomatoes. We also got the special 3(chilaquiles), the carne asada breakfast, the Mac and cheese, and the french toast. The burger was good but not great; it was well done but I didn't request it to my liking. She didn't ask. The waitress came with a plate of chilli burritos instead of the chilaquiles. Tessa said she heard chilli burrito instead of chilaquiles. It's okay though because the chilaquiles came soon after. My mom said they were good. Also the carne asada was seasoned well. My sister got the Mac and cheese, she said it was fine. My other sister got the French toast. She said it was good. Overall the was.... good stuff (haha) I guess but a bit pricey. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. Wait staff was terribly rude. Several walked past without acknowledging us. When i had to get up to ask for just a glass of water, the (i don't even know if "wait staff" is the correct term since no one actually seemed to be doing anything on task but talking with each other) I'll just call them the "people wearing black shirts with a blue text" or "pwbswabt" for short, anyway the pwbswabt still did not a thing to even pretend to get water or any type of food. I spoke with the manager who had nothing but vague excuses and everyone knows that excuses are just tools of the incompetent that build monuments of nothingness. Save an hour out of your day and skip this place. So easy to get food in LA and actually get food and not just a view of pwbswabt socializing with their older male customers for a tip. The ladies at Sam's Hofbrau are actually more dignified in their pursuit of the tip. Hope this saves someone the pain of having to lose their morning and not even getting a glass of water. read more

My husband and I have enjoyed Good Stuff for years in all of their locations! Today we dined in El Segundo. First off free parking! That's nice especially for a beach community. Next was the friendly and accommodating service. Right when you walk in the door you feel welcomed. This feeling continues thru the dining experience. The restaurant really feels like it is part of the community. Staff seemed to know just about everyone dining there. My husband tried the Buffalo and Quinoa and absolutely loved it. It was very unique and different, I tried a bite and it was amazing! I had the Bo's Salad with chicken, almonds and dates! Yummy and light. Perfect combination of flavors. We will be back! read more

My girl and I like coming here on Sundays for brunch. The service is always great, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive every time we come in. The food is consistently good, the portions are solid, and the prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of places nearby. I usually come here for breakfast, but their lunch options are really good too. It's one of those reliable local spots you can casually come to whether you're grabbing a quick bite before work or sitting down to relax for a bit. Is this place a joke? Egg substitute- fake butter that doesn't melt- thin raw bacon. And horrible pick up service. They only place order when you walk in to pick it up. They leave you standing in the middle of the restaurant like a idiot for :20. I HATE THIS PLACE because they are LOWEST quality. and ps- 28$ for 2 eggs bacon toast and breakfast burrito.
