One of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots! Gus is always friendly. I often order the BBQ chicken wrap (off menu) or the Good Stuff Breakfast. The Chicken Chile Verde Breakfast Burrito is probably the best thing on the menu but if I eat that, I can't move because it's so big! Great local joint. read more

This is a bright, happy, beach and very energetic place for any meal.....mine has always been breakfast to start the day. The food was amazing - I had the steak and eggs DELICIOUSLY seasoned!!!!! Came to Good Stuff as a last minute brunch with my best friend. Gus was our server who was very attentive, kind and always checking up on us. It was a Sunday so the restaurant was quite busy. Stopped in here for breakfast with the family on weekday during our trip. Cute little spot on the corner with outdoor or indoor dining. Both spaces were inviting and we opted to eat inside since it was a cooler day. Service was great, though we had a little struggle with understanding our waiter, but we muddled through and everything came out just as we ordered. Service was attentive without being overly annoying. We opted for the Bloody Mary and Mimosa to start and I got a large glass of the Moroccan mint iced tea. All were good, but the tea was my favorite. I got a cup to go before we left! I had the "Good Stuff Style" Huevos Rancheros. The tortilla was very crispy, eggs cooked perfectly, and the chili Verde was so very flavorful it was just not served as hot (temperature wise) as I wished it to be. I like my food to come out hot! Good Stuff has been around the SouthBay for a long time and I'm most familiar with the Hermosa location. So when we were looking for a place to eat in El Segundo on a random Tuesday morning I thought this would be perfect! And I was right :) We sat on the outside street patio because it was such a nice day. The staff were all friendly and the service was ok not great, I was left waiting for coffee refills and had the flag down a different server. They have a pretty expansive menu to choose from but I ended up ordering the Denver Omelet w/ potatoes & sourdough toast. It came with a side of salsa and everything was very good! My son had the Carne Asada & Eggs, it looked great and he confirmed. He wanted a Bloody Mary but they were out of an ingredient (hey that's just the 2021 life right LOL) So he had the Mango Mimosa instead which he was very happy with, he even liked the second one just as much LOL The patio was clean and there is street parking, if you can't find a spot there is a free parking structure next door. Hands down the best food I have had when visiting LA. The restaurant is located in the heart of El Segundo! The restaurant had a nice vibe and it was very welcoming ! History

Established in 1979.

Good Stuff Restaurants's history began with Cris Bennett, who worked as a busboy and had big dreams. In 1979, Cris' dreams became real. He and his father started the first Good Stuff restaurant: a little burger place in West L.A. It was a hit, everybody loved to eat at Good Stuff. Soon he expanded to Hermosa Beach, making his second success. Time passed, and the cities of Redondo Beach, El Segundo, and Palos Verdes were all given a Good Stuff establishment. While each of the Good Stuff locations are different, they have the same core values of great service, tasty food, and healthy options. Our theme is consistent: we offer Good Stuff. Cris Bennett pursued his passion for hospitality at the University of Denver, earning a business degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Driven by his childhood dream of owning a restaurant, he turned that vision into reality—now proudly operating four thriving locations. For over 45 years, Cris has built Good Stuff Restaurants into a South Bay institution, known for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a commitment to health-conscious dining. With deep roots in the community, Good Stuff continues to flourish, serving loyal guests and welcoming new generations to the table.

The el diablo burger packed an explosive punch that set my mouth ablaze. I dont live in El Segundo but I happen to be here. We walked in and the hostess greeted us with a smile but was direct. She told us it would be a 15 minute wait. Really it only 10 minutes. They left us with coffee and water. When we were called in, we were seated in a booth. Very quickly our waitress, Tessa greeted us. She asked what we wanted to drink. I just wanted water but my sister's wanted Apple juice. My mom got a bloody Mary, she said it was okay, not great. My sisters also got those kids coloring pages. Then we ordered. I got the traditional burger with brioche, chedder chese, and onions; no tomatoes. We also got the special 3(chilaquiles), the carne asada breakfast, the Mac and cheese, and the french toast. The burger was good but not great; it was well done but I didn't request it to my liking. She didn't ask. The waitress came with a plate of chilli burritos instead of the chilaquiles. Tessa said she heard chilli burrito instead of chilaquiles. It's okay though because the chilaquiles came soon after. My mom said they were good. Also the carne asada was seasoned well. If i could give 0 stars i would. Wait staff was terribly rude. Several walked past without acknowledging us. When i had to get up to ask for just a glass of water, the (i don't even know if "wait staff" is the correct term since no one actually seemed to be doing anything on task but talking with each other) I'll just call them the "people wearing black shirts with a blue text" or "pwbswabt" for short, anyway the pwbswabt still did not a thing to even pretend to get water or any type of food. I spoke with the manager who had nothing but vague excuses and everyone knows that excuses are just tools of the incompetent that build monuments of nothingness. Save an hour out of your day and skip this place. So easy to get food in LA and actually get food and not just a view of pwbswabt socializing with their older male customers for a tip. The ladies at Sam's Hofbrau are actually more dignified in their pursuit of the tip. Hope this saves someone the pain of having to lose their morning and not even getting a glass of water. read more

My husband and I have enjoyed Good Stuff for years in all of their locations! Today we dined in El Segundo. First off free parking! That's nice especially for a beach community. Next was the friendly and accommodating service. Right when you walk in the door you feel welcomed. This feeling continues thru the dining experience. The restaurant really feels like it is part of the community. Staff seemed to know just about everyone dining there. My husband tried the Buffalo and Quinoa and absolutely loved it.
