I had an incredible cortado with one of their experimental coffees (it said P-02 process, I think, which I believe the bag said was a double thermal shock fermentation). Never tasted a coffee drink like that. It was a couple weeks back but I recall a peach or nectarine fleshy sweetness. If I am remembering correctly, they had an even more adventurous offering than this on espresso, as well as a more main stream offering. I am eager to return next time I am in St. Louis. I would love to try all their coffees. My wife had their cold brew which was also very good. Service was so nice. Good atmosphere and a very nice backyard area. Watch out because they close early (2PM), at least for the moment. read more

I was in the Soulard neighborhood and looking for a spot to fight my afternoon fatigue and complete two hours of administrative work and this was the perfect place. I ordered a Latte and it was bold, smooth and silky. It gave me two hours of life to get my work done. I stayed until they closed and they were so kind to give me a few parting favors. They gave me a free chocolate cookie and the over night oats. The cookie was not my favorite but it was free 99 so I would not dare complain. I think it was only missing a pinch of salt to bring out a more buttery flavor. I will return for the over night oats. I was in the Downtown STL area for a concert near the ballpark. We wanted to stop at a local coffee shop to grab a coffee and quick bite to eat to-go. A quick google showed Goshen Coffee Roasters and it wasn't too far away and was easy to get back on the interstate. The area itself didn't seem the nicest, we could tell a lot of the cars parked in front of the shop had those wheel protection jacks. All that aside, we were really happy we stopped by. The inside was small, but cute. It seemed like such a welcoming space, which was refreshing! I ordered an iced dirty chai and it was soooo good! My husband enjoyed his cold brew and breakfast burrito. I ordered a lemon blueberry scone and coffee cake, but haven't tried them yet. It was an expensive trip but we'll worth it. read more

Goshen Coffee is located in central Soulard off Geyer Ave., putting it within walking distance of the whole neighborhood. I stayed in an Airbnb in Soulard and was delighted to have a local coffee shop nearby. I stopped in and enjoyed a delicious iced latte and one of their breakfast burritos. It took them a while to make my burrito, but it was worth it. It tasted freshly made - well crafted and warm with griddle marks. They even have a vegan burrito option which I appreciate. The downstairs cafe is small, but plenty comfortable for a small group or solo work. They have plenty more seating in a larger dining area upstairs. My favorite coffee shop in St. Louis! I've been here twice now and it's been consistently good, both drinks and pastries. Small coffee shop with cute decor, I love the aesthetic of the brand. I recommend ordering ahead if you're in a rush because they can get busy. Highly recommend the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Latte! It was sooo good, I hope it's still on the menu when I visit again. This place is IT. I love coffee and I am still wondering how I had never been in Goshen before. It fits in perfectly with the vibe of Soulard- it's seated in a brick building with a little awning. It is quaint and inviting. I walked in and saw the awesome decorated walls: mirrors, neon light, murals. It is trendy but still has an element of chill to it. I couldn't help but notice the large amount of drinks that are offer. Lots of drinks are offered, so there is something for everyone! I ordered an iced skinny vanilla latte (basic comments kept on the low please LOL) and it really hit the spot. The espresso was perfectly brewed and had a rich flavor. I wandered outside to the back patio and I loved it. The trees added a great amount of shade to the umbrellas, tables, and chairs that are available to relax in/at. They also had a fountain in the back to give it a little bit of extra something. This might be one of my new go to spots in STL. Highly recommend checking it out. Happy caffinating! read more

I'm SO excited to have Goshen Coffee Roasters in Soulard. This coffee shop is the absolute perfect addition to the neighborhood. The space has been remastered and perfected. You don't realize how HUGE Goshen Coffee Roasters is from the outside, but when you enter there is ample seating options which includes two outdoor areas. On my very first of many future visits, I got an iced coffee. The serving size was just what I needed to start my day and the flavors had me moving and grooving all day long. In addition to my cold brew I had a carrot cake muffin. It was heavenly! The icing was rich and creamy and the muffin was moist! I gobbled it down without even taking a photo. Goshen Coffee Roasters is going to be THE summer hotspot for brunch in Soulard. read more

They wouldn't pour any espresso drinks in glass or ceramic mugs even if you were staying to enjoy it, which is shameful when you order a cortado that should always be served in a glass unless told otherwise and then I could choose different. My search for locally-owned Saint Louis coffee shops that opened early brought me to Goshen in the Soulard neighborhood. The barista was welcoming and kind, starting the day off with a smile. The vegan pumpkin muffins, sitting on a tray on the counter caught my attention. You do not need to be or even want to be a vegan to appreciate this deliciousness - with pumpkin seeds top, a moist texture and a pumpkin flavor that was fresh and not overly sweet. My cup of fresh brewed coffee was balanced and rich and thankful I bought a bag of beans to take home. Topping it off with a little sticker, I've passed on the name of this little shop to visiting friends who also seek early mourning, non-chain coffee. read more

My husband and I visited this coffee shop one day to try them out, and as far as our visit goes, they definitely live up the good things we've heard about them. The coffees were very good, you can tell they use high quality ingredients and not the bad tasting Torani syrups that so many shops use. A lot of times ordering a specialty flavored latte will taste like warmed up cereal milk! Not so with this place. My companion and I were very impressed with both of the lattes we tried, and would definitely consider revisiting in the future if we are in the area. We also ordered the burritos, and was very satisfied with the taste, however the portion sizes were a little small for the price. Apart from this, we considered this a 10/10, would eat again experience. Stopped in to Goshen after a workout and before a brewery tour. It was busy on Saturday morning with quite a line but the staff were all patient and super helpful. We ordered a cappuccino, an oat milk latte, and a coffee cake. All were delicious. The only negative comment I have is that it's not a quick stop. Whatever they made me was okay but it was NOT a Carmel Macchiato, it would have been nice if the guy would have told me they didn't make that and to pick something else...
