Oatmeal cranberry cookie! So simple it felt on hand yet so tasty!

Very well prepared vegan food. The wide choice of items will ensure that you are not missing anything. I liked the subtle taste of dressings, the deessings on the paninies and the side sauces seeved. The desserts were pretty tasty too, without the overdose of sugars, butter and off putting creaminess. Enjoyed the coffee too. The staff were pretty gentle, caring and friendly. Thanks for this oasis in the neighborhood on a super warm weekend This is exactly what we needed before taking on a long day of hikes and exercise

It's Better Than Tuna, Tiramisu Slice, Falafel Patty (I forgot the name!)

Although the items are quite expensive, I think the quality and taste of the food is worth it. The seating is spacious as there are options indoor and outdoors. The dining experience was wonderful and there is something for everyone. There are delicious meals (like the "Better than tuna" salad), but also desserts (like the yummy tiramisu!) The service was wonderful and I really enjoyed the environment. I'd say it's a pretty nice cafe if you want to study as well!

This cafe has a homey chic vibe to it. The outdoor seating area is surrounded by green plants making it feel therapeutic amongst the surrounding bustling city. The a great variety of menu items ranging from drinks (coffee, lattes, matcha, juice, smoothies) to hot food items (soups, burgers, and paninis) to salads & various health bowls, and of course, bakery items (cakes, chocolate truffles, cookie dough bites, cookies, croissants, muffins, and other miscellaneous baked goods). 1. Britney's Special (3.75/5) This bowl consists of quinoa, kale, tofu-egg scramble topped with dried cranberries, roasted red bell peppers, sautéed mushrooms, red kimchi, avocado slices, sprouted walnuts and almond cream cheese with olive oil dressing. The overall flavor of this bowl was decent; it tasted very wholesome and nutritious. But I must say, they were very skimpy with the avocado - giving me only 2 slices of avocado when the photo advertises a whole avocado sliced. As much as it is hearty and healthy, it is really not worth the $21.45. 2. Chocolate Cigar (1/5) A roll kinda shaped like a cigar, hence the name. It is filled with semi-sweet chocolate and cinnamon, then topped off with powdered sugar and chocolate drizzle. The dough part of this pastry was very soggy. It lacked any favorable flavor and felt like you're just eating a soggy chocolate chip puff pastry. Further, the ingredients it contains is unhealthy - sugar, vegetable oil, soy lecithin and natural flavors (which is nothing "natural" at all). Not worth the calories by any means. 3. Mocha Blondie Cake (2/5) I give them credit for using garbanzo flour as the base for the cake making this cake a gluten-free option. However, the cake was very dense and a bit too sweet for my liking. At least the ingredients in this cake is better - cacao powder, oat milk, sugar, olive oil, mocha espresso, vanilla. It's not a bad cake per se, but it's definitely not my type of cake. I really tried to like this neighborhood cafe, but the high price tag for the so-so food is just not worth it in my opinion.

My favorite kind of breakfast place! I am a huge fan of raw vegan + coffee + smoothie bowls, and they had all the above! My spouse is a fan of traditional breakfasts, so it was nice that they had some options for him which he enjoyed. Smoothie bowl was everything I wanted to start my day and a beautiful looking bowl at that! The date cookie dough ball was so good! I want to try all of them. Breakfast burrito was good. Would love to come back and try more of those hot dishes. I would pass on the croissant. It was more like a dinner roll than a flaky buttery croissant. Indoor & outdoor seating, plenty of seating. great customer service & quick!

Expensive for a little cookie dough

Looked for a cafe on the way to work. I ordered the matcha latte. It was very water downed. Cute neighborhood cafe and ambiance. They were busy so maybe they just didn't put in the time to prepare it. I wouldn't want to pay nearly $7 for a water downed match latte.

This place is a hidden gem and vegan oasis. There was street parking and also residential parking up the block (look for the street cleaning signs). It was my mom and my first time coming here. I wanted a smoothie bowl but didn't know which one to order. The cashier suggested the sea of green since it's the most popular. My mom ordered the not egg or better than egg toast. The almond ricotta and vegan pesto really made the dish a stand out. The smoothie bowl was refreshing and actually a large serving. There were plenty of vegan pastries and a few gluten free options. The refrigerated grab n go case had 10g protein chocolate nut cups. I'd return to try the rest of the menu.

Paradise Bowl! Chia, bee pollen and sweetened with maple. It was yummy!

Great healthy food! This place is busy for a good reason! The couple who own it are very nice and really care. Leonardo greats you with a warm smile and promotes an authentic and inviting atmosphere. The presentation is beautiful and you can taste the love. They currently have a little red car parked in the restaurant and you can buy a raffle ticket to win it for $20! That's pretty cool!! Thanks Green table, you're on my list of places to return :-)

Came to the 101 S. Fairfax Blvd in LA (not to be confused with the Pico one) for a fundraiser. We had the avocado and arugula on toast, lasagna, ravioli and coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious. One person remarked that the sauce was a tad too salty. Nice ambience with the words Dream Believe Achieve emblazoned on the wall. Great service. Street parking. Try it out!

Love coming here on my days off! It's such a nice atmosphere to relax and read a book or sit outside and enjoy the weather. Comfy indoor and outdoor seating! Super friendly place with great coffee and snacks!

Breakfast Tacos- 3 tacos filled with our tofu egg scramble, potatoes and zucchini with spicy mayo and ketchup.

Don't sleep on Green Table Cafe. The food here is unbelievably good, and the atmosphere and customer service are excellent. I tried the Breakfast Tacos, which consisted of three tacos filled with tofu egg scramble, potatoes, and zucchini, topped with spicy mayo, ketchup, and a side of coleslaw. Even the coleslaw is super delicious. This has become my new go-to spot. Thank you, team Green Table Cafe! Be a Proud American. Peace / Love

What a marvelous place. I'm not in this area often and I wanted something filling but healthy. I walked in to everything lovely: * Ultra friendly service (which made friendly fellow patrons) * Clean environment * Great music (60s Maaaann. ) * And food that was delicious. I'm so happy I found this place. I'll be returning here next time I'm in culver.

I was so surprised to find this place because I usually go next door to the Ethiopian restaurant called Awash and since they were closed for their Easter celebration I found this plant based restaurant! I loved the sandwich I ordered so delicious! The bread soft and flavors were so satisfying! Great service and they are hustling with juggling with many food orders with a smile. I loved the ambiance and was even dancing in the bathroom with the great music that was playing in the restaurant. Fun vibe. Happy place will come back again.

    Sea of Green (Superfood) Bowl
    CB C.

The "sea of green" (superfood) bowl & caffè were bellissimo. The ambiance was cozy inside and the WiFi was strong. My only reason for deducting one-star is due to the fact that I noticed one of the employees who was making my bowl touching her hair with the same gloves she was making my bowl with & I kindly asked her not to cross-contaminate the food while shuffling through her hair with sanitation gloves on. I would highly recommend a uniform cap, hair nets, or hair to be pulled back completely. She was very passive in her response and made it seem as if it was not a big deal, and it surely is, especially after overcoming a major pandemic.

Matcha latte with lavender needed more sweetness so asked again for agave

Ask the Community - Green Table Cafe

Can I bring my laptop and study here if I purchase food/drinks?

    Yes

Are there enough tables outside to snag a spot to sit on a Sunday morning?

    Yes

Are there any tables with power outlet?

    Yes! Lots!

Are the vegan desserts sold by slice only or can you pre-order a full cake?

You can preorder full cakes! We just need a 24hour advance! If there is full cakes ready were happy to sell the whole thing :)

Is there any açaí bowls that doesn't come in contact with nuts? My friend has a nut allergy and I want her to have a good first time experience at this place as much as I did when I tried it out!

The bowls all contain almond butter but if asked the staff will wash out the blenders and use nut free products

    Are there gluten free options?

Yes. My boss, who eats gluten free, introduced me to this place. She eats there all the time and can eat the entire menu.

Both dishes were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, comforting, and beautifully prepared. Honestly, I wish we had more time because we had another appointment downtown. I would have loved to try more dishes and definitely dessert! Our server was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. He checked on us at just the right moments without ever feeling intrusive. The service was as impressive as the food. The restaurant has such a warm, relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the beautiful ceramic water cups with bird designs--they were so unique and charming. Even the water tasted wonderful! She said the house salad was better the last time she came bc the lettuce was different. She recalled it was Romaine lettuce last time. This time it was a green salad. I won't be ordering this dish again. I took half home, cut up the soybean fish and added it to a stew. I didn't mention to my server that it was my bday, but was disappointed that he didn't even offer like regular servers do, "Would you like to see the dessert menu?" I didn't tell him it was my bday nor did I ask for the dessert menu bc I wasn't the one paying the bill. Not that I needed dessert, but it would've been nice to have been asked. When I mentioned this to another server who came by to clear our table that our server didn't even ask if we wanted dessert and that the restaurant doesn't seem to want to push its desserts, he quickly brought us a dessert menu, but my friend was already paying our bill - too late! It would've been nice to be asked earlier. I even had candles in my bag just in case we got dessert. Anyway, this server said he'll tell our server about not offering dessert. The next day I came back with another friend after a Music Center event. My server from the day before recognized me. This time he asked us at the start before we ordered or after we had just ordered whether we'd like to see the dessert menu. Huh? Ask at the END not start of a meal! Instead of embarrassing him, I told him, "No, thanks. My bday was yesterday." On this second day, my friend and I shared a Chinoise salad (delicious and refreshing!) and paella (not like a paella, a little too wet and granular for our taste, but healthy - a living food dish). We had mint and lemon water for both meals. $12 parking in the adjacent structure. Free parking passes at the Music Center if you're a season ticket holder or good luck with finding street parking. I'd still continue to occasionally patronize this restaurant when I have Music Center events bc I want to support veganism, the restaurant; however, I was disappointed with some of the food and waitstaff this weekend. I'd suggest that the waitstaff go thru customer training on when/what/how to talk to customers. We decided to come here for my fiancés birthday the other night. We hadn't been here before but…read morewe're very happy we came. He's vegan, and I'm currently following a plant based diet, so it seemed like a perfect fit. We actually found the restaurant after looking on the app InKind (highly recommend btw!), specifically for places with vegan food. They have a parking lot on the side of the building. Not many spaces but grateful for the option! They have seating outside and inside, and I guess inside is both "restaurant" or "dining room." Not sure the difference, but we sat at a table close to the window which was nice. The inside decor is really cute. Beautiful string lights, cookware on the walls, and there was even an old movie playing on a projector. It felt pretty authentic and adorable. Servers were very attentive. We had Adi and he was really sweet. We were brought water right away. And they serve fresh vegan focaccia bread with a DELICIOUS pesto sauce before your meal. Honestly, that pesto is something I want to take home and drink. So good. We decided to both order from the vegan menu. When else can you get fresh vegan Italian?! We got their version of vegan carpaccio as an appetizer. Which was oddly turkey based? (Vegan of course). But truly one of the most unexpectedly yummy things I've had in awhile. The mayo type sauce on it was delicious. The lettuce and capers were a great touch. And it had some sort of mustard stuffed olives that I could eat forever. My fiancé got the lasagna as a main. And I got the pesto spaghetti. Ironically I ended up liking the lasagna more and he liked the spaghetti so we swapped haha. Both were delicious. As someone who isn't vegan and loves meat and cheese, I can confidently say that lasagna was one of the best I've had in so long. At the end they treated him to a delicious small vegan ganache cake and a birthday candle. It was simple and appreciated. The only negatives I have is that the wine was pretty pricey for the bottles they had. And even though I requested a booth (they had several open), and mentioned the birthday in the reservation, I had to repeatedly mention the birthday, and we got seated at a table. The Italian dishes taste completely authentic--exactly like the meals I've had while traveling in Italy. As a major bonus, their vegan options are absolutely PHENOMENAL. They have an extensive selection that doesn't feel like an afterthought at all. It is on the pricier side, but for the quality of the food and the overall experience, it is 100% worth the price tag. I am most certainly going back again. A must-visit spot in Los Feliz!

HIGHLY recommend the thousand layer potato's and spicy lumaconi

We had the crispy rice, nachos with beef added on top, and the vodka pizza which is one of my favorite vegan pizzas to date. We also got the noodles (non spicy ones) and the brownie with ice cream OMG, amazing. Our waiter, cannot remember his name unfortunately, was fantastic. Very attentive and gave great suggestions. Overall, 10/10, will definitely be back!!

The chicken stays crispy for a long time and reheats nicely as leftovers. Everything we've ordered is really good and crave-worthy. We got the lucky catsu, curry catsu, crispy shrimp, spam masubi, catsu masubi, orange chicken, crispy chicken. Top two favorites are lucky and curry catsu. Small things I'd personally wish to change is that the onion is too strong in the macaroni salad. Wish it wasn't in there period. And the rice is a little on the dryer side and it sticks to the container- so when you scrape up the last bits of rice, you could be eating the paper from the container. I like that they use compostable containers though!! But yeah the rice is on the harder side especially as leftovers. But whatever, their main items are bomb and makes me not care about anything else. Service is quick! Note: it is not a sit down restaurant. You order (ahead) and park on the street and call them to let them know you're outside. They'll bring the food out. Reception isn't great outside fyi. I've been here 3 times and never last long enough to get a photo before digging in. There are two other vegan restaurants right next to it, same concept - order and pick up. Great for different options if one is craving Mexican from Cena or hot dogs from All franks.

To be very honest, I love this place so much. I am currently sad because they are not open. I've…read morebeen looking every day to see when they will open back up from the macaroni to the spam. Anything that you get here is good.

The cafe itself is beautiful and cozy, and the whole team was incredibly kind. Our server honestly made the experience even better. He was so friendly and genuinely excited about the menu, took the time to explain everything, and gave us great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for. You could tell he really cared about making people have a good experience. The food and coffee were amazing, super flavorful and satisfying without feeling too heavy. It ended up being one of our favorite stops during our trip. Huge thank you to everyone there for making our day so special.

Everything was spotless, calm, and full of genuinely lovely people. The service was so warm I briefly considered asking if I could move in. I ordered a latte, the Caesar tempeh wrap, and a bowl -- and somehow every single bite tasted like it had been blessed by woodland fairies with culinary degrees. Flavor? Absolutely out of this world. But the BEST part? The names of the dishes. "I Am Well," "I Am Grateful," "I Am Light"... and when your server brings your food they lovingly announce: "You are well." Honestly, being affirmed by a stranger while handed organic vegan food healed at least 37% of my problems. I came for lunch and accidentally left spiritually moisturized. If you want delicious fully vegan organic food, positive vibes, and the experience of being gently complimented by your salad, this place is IT.

I've only been to one other vegan butcher shop in my life (Las Vegas) and I did not like it one bit, but I am really glad I decided to give this place a shot. I'm a sucker for chicken parm sandwiches so when I saw that on the menu I knew it was the best bet to fill me up and make me happy. I ended up ordering that as well as some french fries on the side and it was a decision that I would absolutely not regret. My friend and I drove to pick the food up and by the time we got back, the food was still pretty hot and ready to eat. The chicken parm sandwich itself was hands down one of the best chicken parm sandwiches I have ever had, vegan or not vegan. The "chicken" inside tasted so good, so shoutout to the breading, cheese, and sauce mixed in because this thing was absolutely fantastic. The french fries on the side were very good as well, nothing to really talk about regarding them, but good fries are good fries. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Maciel's Plant-Based Butcher Shop and can't wait to come back again. The food here was so dang good and even though it took me a few weeks to write this review, it's making me want to go back ASAP. Come check this place out yourself!

My dining companions loved their sandwiches as well. Business is booming; we visited for a weekday lunch and orders were flying out the door. Service was a tiny bit slow, as the restaurant was so busy; but it's also a good sign that everything was fresh. I'm only a part-time vegan but even if I were a complete carnivore, I'd visit again. It's that delicious! Casual indoor/outdoor dining. Small parking lot and street parking available.
