When we arrived at this business, they weren't really busy at all. I could see about seven different employees walking around on the floor and one individual behind the bar. It took about 5 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge us from the back of the room, but when she did, we were promptly sat. We ended up sitting there for about 10 minutes before our waiter came over. As I looked at the menu, I noticed several things that looked good but were incredibly expensive for a la carte. We settled on a few kid burgers with fries and a regular burger with a basket of sweet potato fries for the adults. We then waited about 10 more minutes for the waiter to come over. We were quick to give the drink and food order since we didn't know how long it would be until we saw him again. He did quickly return with the drinks, but the food seemed to take longer than expected. On the food arrival, I was amazed at how slider small the kids' burgers were as well as that my burger was smaller than your typical big mac. I also was amazed that it had no awesome or specialty that induced a $15 need. It was a basic burger on a pretzel bun that had zero pretzel taste. The sweet potato fries were excellent though and the sauce that they provided was tasty. In all, three kid burgers, one regular burger, a basket of fries and one diet drink cost $74. Definitely more than I would have expected for what we got. I guess it's the ambiance that I was paying for. Guaranteed to be a one and done. read more

What a cute place in the downtown area! I came here for a girls day out with a friend. It was fairly packed but we found a couple seats at the bar. We came here for some drinks and potentially a shake but after seeing how HUGE they were, we decided the liquid was the way to go and to enjoy watching the shakes being made instead. The staff was helpful and insiteful with helping me make a beer choice. The food looked amazing but we had eaten somewhere else that didn't have as many drinks options. We went in for happy hour and I asked how much a Moscow Mule was. The waiter said $8 so I ordered one. While waiting for our order the person next to us asked if we'd pay for his food because he didn't have any money. When we said no he went to another table and asked them. The staff said this is a common occurrence there and the manager said he pays for their food. When our bill came my drink was $12. When I questioned it the reply was that they had to add vodka which cost $4 more. I guess if you don't mind being panhandled during your meal or being charged more than the price quoted this is the place for you. We were then asked not to come back because we were rude. We came downtown to see the falls and enjoy the sunshine. We had high hopes for this place as it looked busy and the menu looked tasty - especially the freaky shakes! We were sooooooo disappointed and sad to say we will never be back. Our service was slow - we waited over 45 minutes for food (which is hard to wait that long with three kids). They were busy but we were on the tail end of their busy time (we arrived around 3:45 pm). They had plenty of servers and managers running around - but clearly all were inexperienced. The food came out in stages (not all at once) and we had to keep reminding our server of the things we had ordered or asked for. All of the chicken fingers looked over-fried, none of the sides came with sauces, and we had to wait over an hour to get the shakes we asked for with our meal. One of the boozy shakes was never even included. We talked the manager and all they said was "we will take care of it." Severely disappointed with this place. We are visiting from out of town and had several families recommend this as a kid-friendly dinner option. Our server was attentive and friendly but here were our issues in chronological order: 1) The alcoholic beverages don't have prices listed on the menu. Took 20 min to find out the pricing and then it was a range and not specific prices for the two beverages we were interested in. Needless to say, we skipped. 2) after taking our order, instead of placing it right away (we had a young child with us), our sever attended to other larger tables to take their orders. As a result, tables that ordered after we did got their food 5-10 min before us. 3) while we were waiting for food, we asked for ketchup (our condiment caddy was missing it) and silverware (we had none). Sever came back to with ketchup and one set of silverware (we were a party of 3). Like seriously, wtf? 4) food came out (finally!) but was missing from it 3-way. By the time it came out, we were almost done with our meal. Not sure about you, but we typically expect fries and such to come out with the burgers. 5) burgers were grossly over cooked and didn't have much flavor. Haven't been back to this place in YEARS and decided to give it another chance. All I remembered was incredibly slow service. Ordered a couple shakes (which took about 25 minutes to make). My wife and I had wedge salads - which didn't arrive for another ten minutes after the shakes! Seriously, how the hell does it take 30 minutes to make a wedge salad? And this was the WORST quality and presentation I've ever seen for any kind of salad. A head of lettuce was cut in half and placed upright on the plate. It was already wilted and yellow. They didn't even attempt to do anything for the presentation beyond just placing a pile of chopped tomatoes, a small pile of bacon bits and a small pile of blue cheese crumbles. I was very excited to try this restaurant being new in town and having heard so much about it. Within the first few bites of food I noticed a bug in my ranch. I informed the young waiter and his response to me was "oh dang you want me to get you another one". I politely told him no and requested my check. Awesome restaurant in Greenville, South Carolina. We are traveling here from Vermont for the first time with our dog and the hostess Kaitlyn was also our waitress was super friendly and so accommodating for the dog. We sat outside and she brought the dog some water and a dessert. Burgers were great and you have to try the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon orange dip.
