Great pizza got the Quattro & The Don 18inch we had a lot of left overs for a party of 5. The Quattro was a bit salty. The pepperoni topping did not deliver but sauces on the pizzas were on point!

Authentic NY pizza at its best! 10/10. The crust has a perfect coal-fired taste and the sauce-to-cheese ratio is exactly right,no soggy slices here. Make sure to save room for the Trio Dessert; the New York cheesecake is elite. Super creamy and rich. I'll be back!

Grimaldi's pizza is amazing! They have so many interesting and delicious variations and toppings; we got a rare opportunity to sample many of them! My running group took us there after one of our Monday night runs. Pizza was complimentary, courtesy of an In Kind partnership, and whole pizzas kept coming out...each looking more appetizing than the last and each tasting delicious! The first one I tried was to die for: Prosciutto, Parmesan shavings, mozzarella and hot honey. What a great topping combo! Some of the other delicious Chef's Selections included: MARGHERITA Tactional Pizza with Extra Famous Sauce and Fresh Basil. BROOKLYN BRIDGE Roasted Sweet Red Peppers, Creamy Ricotta Cheese and Hand-Pinched Italian Sausage atop the traditional pizza. QUATTRO FORMAGGI Mozarella, Asiago, Parmesan, Pecorino Romano & Gorgonzola Cheese. PROSCIUTTO ARUGULA Our Classic White Pizza Topped with Thinly Sliced Prosciutto, Shaved Cheese Blend and Fresh Arugula. BARBECUE CHICKEN Sweet Baby Ray's® Barbecue Sauce, Chicken, Bacon, Red Onion and Fresh Cilantro. TUSCAN VEGGIE White or Traditional Pizza, Roasted Red Peppers, Artichoke Hearts, Spinach, Garlic and Basil. THE IVY White Pizza with Garlic, Pesto, Mushroom, White Onion They even allow you to create your own pizza, and gluten-free cauliflower crust is available for small pizzas. Someone ordered a pizza with pesto and jalapeños. That was interesting and tasty! We also tried the Buffalo Chicken pizza: Fire-braised chicken breast, Sweet Baby Ray's® Hot Sauce, mozzarella, Gorgonzola crumbles and celery. The servers were incredibly friendly and helpful, making it a truly memorable experience. We sat outside, enjoying a warm evening and even warmer atmosphere.

First visit to Grimaldi's Pizzeria. The salad was surprisingly good and fresh. Pizza had a nice crispy crust, but the taste was a bit average. Not bad at all, just didn't live up to the hype. Service was solid. Overall a decent experience, just not a place I'd rush back to.

A great establishment whose pizza was delicious and filling! Staff were kind and it was evident that there were strong, open lines of communication. Music made for a noisy atmosphere inside. Outdoor seating had the radio on quiet but the background noise didn't impact one's ability to hear conversation. Outdoor seating also had the heat on when temperatures drop with the changing of the seasons which made for a cozy atmosphere. Bathrooms were small considering the size of the restaurant and the amount of maximum occupancy the restaurant was allowed. The menu had quite a bit of variety but my party stayed with ordering different types of pizza. The sizing of the pizza made it possible for either the pizza to be spit between 2-3 people or for one person to have leftovers. I liked what I ordered so I would go again!

I've always wanted to try this place out, but we came right around the "stoking" hour, so it felt a bit rushed trying to decide what type of pizza I wanted right when we were sat. The Bellini tasted so good, I had to get another! I ordered a small white sauce pizza with chicken and jalapeños. To add chicken was $4, and it seemed like they did not put enough chicken on the pizza for the cost. The 12in pizza was about $30 w/chicken, basil and jalapeños. It was pretty quiet, but once 4o clock came it started to liven up a bit. I'll def come back for the giant slice and cocktail.

Disclaimer: if you are eating here under the assumption this will be anything like the original Grimaldi's in Brooklyn then you will be sorely disappointed. Unfortunately for us, we are a tad delusional and went in with that mindset. Let's start with the good: the staff is very friendly and attentive, the options for pizza are great, and for how busy The Domain can be on any given night it's nice to be somewhere a bit more relaxed and quiet. The subway station stop decor made us feel a bit at home, which is always a welcome feeling. And for the bad (or at least not good): the pizza is just severely overpriced, almost comically so. You're telling me a 12 inch pizza with 2 toppings is pushing $30? If I wanted to be robbed like that I would just go to 6th Street and hand a vagrant my wallet. The food isn't bad per se, but it just isn't worth the price it's set at. We ordered four pies: The Don, a white pizza with chicken and sun dried tomatoes, a white pizza with spicy sausage and sun dried tomatoes, and a tomato pie with Italian sausage. Aesthetically they all looked great, and the flavors were good as well. We poured a bit of hot honey over our slices which provided it a strong zip of heat alongside some sweetness. The pizza is well balanced and would be considered decent by NY standards. Altogether Grimaldi's is a good pizza place handcuffed by the fact that they think they can charge NY prices for Austin pizza.

    Christian C.

Eh. The pizza is ok, but the prices are insulting. We ordered an 18 inch Exxtra Pepperoni with Hot Honey for our family of 3 thinking it would be more than enough, which we were very wrong. The price for their 18 inch pizzas is close to $40 and I can safely say that their pizza is not worth those prices. The servers were cool. I definitely wanted to love this place, but would recommend Desano's over Grimaldi's which is not too far from here.

delicious thin pizza with a crispy crust (def recommend to ask for their ranch, if you are a pizza ranch person). their pizza was yummy and fresh. however i would've loved some more variety within the toppings that were offered. service was very friendly and helped a lot with our big group. overall but definitely come back when graving a solid margarita pizza.

The good about this restaurant is it is in a great area and is a very nice atmosphere. It has a ton of potential but is a chain so not sure if they can make the changes they need to get the extra *s from me. We were a table of 10 and our server was great. He did a great job of taking care of us. We ordered 5 pies and they came out fairly fast but not all at the same time. That made sense possible because of the wood fire oven but the pizza got cold extremely quick IMO. I am a fast eater and love hot pizza and by my second slice it was no longer hot. This may have only bothered me as no one else in my group said anything. I was surprised by the lack of favor on this pie that claimed to be a spicy pie. It was mild and hardly had any flavor. I am not a fan of writing negative reviews and I hope things can be fixed because I would love to give them another shot next time. The pizza are not cheap so that means they got to be memorable.

Guest beware!! DO NOT GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!! We got to the restaurant and were very excited to eat here. We decided to eat a pizza that is half and half. We expected to be charged the higher price of the more expensive pizza. Instead, of a $3 difference we ended up with a $13 difference because they charged for each ingredient that wasn't on the other pizza, on top of the original price. Oh and when doing this no one said anything about how we would be charged. When I asked someone that works here they said it was how corporate wanted them to ring it up. So either they lied (I believe them and think they were being truthful) or the corporate offices want to nickel and dime customers. Either way horrible! Very disappointing and would definitely NOT recommend coming here!!

Yum! Went on a Wednesday evening and wasn't busy. Xavier served us and the service was amazing. Very attentive and made sure our orders were correct. We got half hot honey and margarita pizza and it was so good! Really big slices! I like that they give generous amounts of sauces on the side. Casual but still a good date spot. Will def be back!

Everybody around town knows that when you go to guest house you're supposed to look your best. Anytime I feel like dressing up and going out to dinner. I know this is the place to be because everybody else around knows and respect the unspoken rules. This time around, however, we wanted to pop over for happy hour right after watching the US vs AUS game. I had an extra change of clothes in my car, but most of the people with me didn't. I called guest house ahead of time to see if they could fit us in with some people wearing not the fanciest clothes. And they told us as long as we're not wearing athletic wear we're fine. That led to only one person having to go home and change before we went there. And they welcomed us all with open arms, even though I showed up with two extra people on my reservation. Leah was our server and she literally was the best part of our meal despite the food being top-notch. We ordered nearly everything on the menu. Devoured the tuna and salmon cones. Absolutely loved the spicy rigatoni. The burger, which I believe is the best burger in Austin, the chicken tenders, the wings. The desserts every single thing was impeccable. Since a lot of my friends were coming to the guest house for the first time with me after we were all done eating and stuffed to the T, I ordered the group 2 slices of their House bread and told everyone to just trust me. The number of people that literally begged me to not do that because they were too full was insane and in the end when they all tried the bread they were like, thank you for staying persistent and introducing us to this incredible revolution. Because that's exactly what their bread is. A buttery flaky, heavenly blend of a croissant and bread that straight up melts on your mouth. I can keep going on and on about this place but never ever ever have I ever seen a drop in service here no matter how busy they are.

Oh my! This was so good…read more Met here with an out of town friends and they loved it too! I ordered the (4) bruschetta board. Smoked salmon, fig, anchovy, and tomato (can't remember that one's name). I requested the gluten free version which I was thankful they had. I'd love to see them offer some versions with non cows dairy such as some sheep cheese like feta. My fave ones were the smoked salmon and the fig. It was so beautiful inside and outside. We chose to eat inside but took pictures on the patio. Servers were attentive. This place even gives a discount to the parking garage attached to the building. You do have to scan the QR code in the garage when you arrive to pay for parking. (I didn't know that until an hour into my dining and my friend mentioned paying for parking so I had to run out to my car!) Looks like they change the flavors of the boards so it would be great to come back and try different flavors. There were some dessert items I saw online that weren't available on the in restaurant menu that would have been nice to try. They also have a wine club if you're into that. Near downtown so you can enjoy the city before or after your meal. My friends said their cocktails were delish.

As one of the first people through the door, I was able to quickly snap a bunch of pics before the crowd arrived en masse, after which I was too busy playing around to take any more... And yes, I did try bull riding, but no, I will not be sharing any photographic evidence of such! :D Open bar but I stuck with the Cherry Ginger Slinky (Seedlip Spice 94, ginger beer, lemon juice, and black cherry puree) all night--the mocktail as-is when I felt like being a kid again and a spiked version when I felt like being a *naughty* kid again. ;)

I'd give this place a 3.5/5 stars…read more I came here for my boyfriend's birthday brunch with his family on Father's Day. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't very busy, so we were expecting a smooth experience. We ordered the bottomless mimosas, the chili crispy chicken eggs Benedict, and the chicken and waffles. The standout dish was definitely the chili crispy chicken eggs Benedict. It was flavorful, very filling, and easily my favorite thing I ordered. I would order it again if ever come back. The bottomless mimosas came pre-made in a pitcher, which was convenient, but they tasted more like juice than champagne. If you're expecting a traditional mimosa, you may be disappointed. Unfortunately, the chicken and waffles were our least favorite dish. The chicken batter was very thick, little to no seasonings and had a yeasty flavor, and the waffles were much sweeter and cakey than expected. The flavors didn't balance well, and my boyfriend wasn't able to finish even a third of his meal. Service started off well and our waitress was friendly, but as brunch went on we found ourselves having to flag her down multiple times for refills and assistance. Since the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, this was surprising. The biggest downside was the value. For the prices being charged, we expected a higher quality dining experience. While the eggs Benedict were decent, the rest of the food and service didn't quite justify the cost. The ambiance was also lacking. For a brunch spot, especially one we chose for a birthday celebration, the atmosphere felt pretty flat and didn't add much to the overall experience. Overall, there were some highlights, especially the eggs Benedict, but there were enough misses that we left feeling the experience was average rather than memorable for a birthday celebration.
