One thing I really like is that they'll leave the noodles uncooked if you ask, so they don't get all soggy by the time you prepare it at home. I usually order the pho dac biet to go, and it always hits the spot. I've eaten here plenty of times too, and the quality is just as good dining in. They had a Chinese menu and a Vietnamese menu. Honestly, it was a tough choice. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls , and the bun Bo nuong cha gio. The dishes were prepared with quality and patience. Lots of regulars in the restaurant it seemed. On this night , there were short staffed and I had to remind my server about my order a few times. The manager came out to apologize. She was a very good manager and handled things well. She offered me a discount, but I refused. Instead, she gave me a refreshing watermelon drink on the house. However, they're best known for their Bun Bo Hue, Vietnamese Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (quite different from Taiwanese beef noodle soup by the way)! Most of us ordered that. It comes with fresh veggies and herbs that you put into your hot soup. The thick rice noodles were bouncy and the beef shank slices were tender. The broth was flavorful and they were able to accommodate my request for less spice. I do wonder if veggie refills are free but I didn't get a chance to ask. Normally I like lots of veggies.
