I was around the area and decided to get my boba fix here. I ordered two drinks - honey green milk tea with boba and taro green milk tea (75% sweetness for both drinks). The cashier offered a free upgrade for the drinks too. The drinks came out pretty fast, within a few minutes after I ordered. The honey green milk tea with boba was good, it wasn't too sweet and you can taste the tea. The honey boba was also chewy and soft. The interior can be revamped too as it's been a couple of years now. The drinks are still good. I often get a Matcha Slush with boba and it does the job. Sometimes they aren't blended as much as you'd like, but the taste is always there. I remember being kind of shocked as a young adult with their wider cups. I felt like it was a statement that they were different from other boba shops. I'm glad that after all these years, their cups changed so they can fit the cup holders now! They traded aesthetics for practicality, and I can appreciate that. Over the years, I also realized that I'm not one to drink a large cup of milk tea and boba anymore. Plus I'm lactose-intolerant as most Asians become and I started wishing people did a smaller sizes. I mean, if you knew the calorie count, you would be terrified. There is plenty of parking in the back of Half and Half. There's also many food selections in the plaza. The environment is small on the inside. There are two tables outside, three tables inside and a long bench. The milk with brown sugar pudding is my favorite. The ice milk with honey boba and grass jelly looks delicious because the black honey is dripping down the cup. There's also a lychee strawberry slushee with honey boba that is refreshing. If you want caffeinated drinks, they have plenty of selection like milk tea or green tea. There's also juice, slushee, milk, smoothies, yogurt and lemonade drinks to choose from. Glad that this location is still holding up. Love half & half and quality never disappoints. This plaza has like 3 boba/cafe shop and everybody basically always go to here. They don't have any seating available but doesn't stop anyone from coming. We like calling ahead first in case it gets busy. Usually doesn't take them long to make it. Like 10 minutes and all we have to do is pay and pick up. Regular with topping is around 6 bucks but portion is always generous with the giant looking cup, love love it. This is one of the best boba franchises that I have EVER tried!!! I have only been to the store in Arcadia so far and it is one of the very first boba places that started my family's boba obsession, so visiting it after the pandemic and after quite a long time was such a nostalgic moment. Anyways, enough reminiscing, let's talk about the boba itself! The store is super clean and smells like milk tea and boba (heavenly) and the interior design is classic Half and Half Tea with the cute hand drawn menu signs and special beverages. They have popular drinks on a wooden board, recommended drinks and their classics as well as the whole menu on these little laminated placards near the cash register. They also sell chapstick and little snacks as well. We ordered the coffee milk tea with boba and milk tea with boba, our classic order. Half and Half NEVER disappoints so it's safe to say our drinks were amazing. They give you HUGE portions so I recommend just ordering one for two people to share. They give you plentiful boba and tea. TIP: When they serve it to you at the pickup station, the boba at the bottom is still steaming hot! Make sure to stir it or shake the boba so that it floats to the top and the honey (if you ordered honey boba) flavors the drink well. Also definitely consider getting half sugar, as the sugar is pretty heavy in their drinks. The milk tea with boba is always amazing and it is just your classic milk tea flavors with amazing sweet and chewy boba. The coffee with milk tea is good as well, pretty sweet for coffee but the boba adds a nice touch of texture and flavor. The coffee isn't very strong since I think they added half Coffee half tea. I came here on vacation in LA/Alhambra to see my college friends. I love that there is so much selection here!! They said half and half is a good place for boba, so I came here to check it out. I really lucked out on the timing because they were having a special summer promotion where all the drinks get a free bigger size upgrade AND on Mon/Weds you can get a free topping (not boba). So I came on a Wednesday and got this free size upgrade AND free topping on the two drinks I ordered - almond milk with boba and pudding and regular milk tea with boba and pudding. I asked for both to have less ice and less sugar. Of the two, I prefer the almond milk drink. They were HUGE with the (free) Super Cup upgrade!!! Btw, you don't get this super cup upgrade unless you walk-in (said another way: don't do phone order if you want this free upgrade). To illustrate how much drink this was - I had to take 3 lactase pills across two days to finish drinking the drink (I'm a slow drinker). I'm also assuming it has a lot of caffeine - there were signs at the shop about how caffeinated these drinks were, so I didn't want to drink them after 3pm!! The shop itself is not very big. You need to walk into the store and down the hall to order. There are so many signs in addition to the menu that can be a little overwhelming, but I'm so glad I read the signs to get that cup upgrade and the free topping. The PARKING is pretty nice - there is usually some free street parking right out front, and people don't really stay there to drink the tea - just take it to go, so the parking gets freed up quickly. They will ask if you want a bag for your drink - there's a small 5-10 cent charge for bag! LASTLY, there is some small percentage charge on CREDIT CARD. My go-to drink used to be the logan black tea but I've discovered Ice Milk with vanilla latte and honey boba with 50% sugar and less ice. This has been our go-to boba place in SGV now due to the price, super cup, and their various customization to your drinks. Their menu is obscenely big and can be a bit confusing. I'm someone that likes to try new things but I've gotten very discouraged to do it here since quality is so different here every time. Logan black tea stopped being my favorite because their black tea almost tasted like lemonade black tea one time. I've had their rose milk tea, almond milk tea, logan milk tea, strawberry milk tea and I'm not a fan of their milk tea because it has a lemony flavor. Parking is easily accessible either on Atlantic or in their private lot. Save yourself time and just park in the upper level. Although the spots are more compact, I do find it that less people park up here so there's tons of gaps and parking on their main level is horrendous.
