    Cipriani Baked Tagliolini
    Maddi R.

Had an early dinner at Harry Cipriani recently! To start off, this restaurant location is connected to The Sherry Netherland Hotel, so there are 2 entrances: inside the hotel and outside the restaurant itself. This establishment is somewhat spacious with a good amount of seating and a bar section. Some of the tables however are very close to one another. The warm lighting and the rich wood tones throughout the restaurant gives off a nice sophisticated, old timey vibe. Ambiance rate 9/10. My boyfriend and I ordered... 1. The Bellini: This drink was the perfect blend of peaches and prosecco. Rate 10/10. 2. Cipriani Baked Tagliolini: This pasta dish was very delicious. It had great flavor, and had a generous amount of praga ham. I especially liked the baked cheese over the top. However, it was very oily which was the one downside. Rate 8/10. 3. Steamed Chilean Sea Bass: This entrée was incredibly delightful. This soft sea bass had exquisite flavor that just melts into your mouth. Rate 10/10. It came with rice pilaf which had a nice buttery flavor to it. However, it was overcooked which was upsetting. Rate 6/10. 4. Spicy Cream Vodka Rigatoni: This is a "secret menu item" that you can order if you ask your waiter. This dish had a yummy vodka sauce taste with a slight spicy kick to it! Rate 8/10. At the end, they give you free vanilla wafer cookies that were good. The service was great! Our server was very kind and accommodating to our requests. The service was fairly quick. Service/staff rate 9/10. All the dishes tasted wonderful. Unfortunately, they were very small portion sizes. I expected the dishes to have a larger portion of food considering it's expensive prices. Despite this, I still had a nice experience and got to enjoy yummy food that I recommend others to try!

We went for lunch time and it was packed and noisy. We had been to the one in Brickell, this location is superior, the food was really good, service was awesome specially the Dominican guy, very friendly and engaging. I requested a spicy pink pasta not in the menu and they fulfill my wish. For a hectic NYC experience is good, not sure for a romantic date.

Harry Cipriani is an upscale Italian restaurant on 5th avenue. The experience we had was superb from start to finish. The manager was friendly and seemed to have a great existing relationship with many customers. Some people said that the service was chaotic with different waiters and that their was discrepancies in how much attention you got. While we had multiple servers, for the most part they were all friendly and attentive. The Bellini and Fritto Misto were excellent. We then got a ravioli and penne pasta which were some of the best pastas we've ever had (especially the ravioli). We would definitely come back for another nice date night and want to try the desserts next time.

I went to a movie premiere about Italian food. So I was craving Italian food. The Bolognese didn't have tomato, so it was more of a stroganoff. Bathroom is kind of creepy in hotel basement next door. It's convenient for the Paris Theater & Plaza, and open later than most on a week night. Also noticed they have a Doge salad, which u hope is named after the building in Venice, not the fake office that is collapsing the Federal Government of the US.

Was in NYC for a quick trip. Walked by on my way back to the Park Hyatt from The Met and decided to see if they had any space for lunch. The host was fantastic and found a great table for me. The tables are quite close and you can easily hear conversations from those next to you but it was entertaining as I was dining alone. Ordered the pasta bolognese and it was delicious. The vibe was cool, very New York (I'm from California). Great experience overall.

    Calves Liver alla Veneziana

Saturday night dinner with friends at Harry Cipriani, greeted warmly by the hosts as we walked into the dining room . Service was very attentive and allowed us to catch up with our friends before taking our food orders. Looking for a nutritious vitamin fix, I had the calves liver alla Venezia with fried polenta. It was one of the best calves liver entrees I have had in awhile, simply sautéed with onions, delicious! For dessert we shared coffee mocha and meringue cakes.

TLDR: Super disappointed by the food, though recognize this restaurant has a nice location. Harry's is kind of old school and fancy, almost like a restaurant you would see in a movie. It has a nice interior and convenient location right at the edge of Central Park in Midtown. Past this surface, I overall didn't enjoy the food and thought the service was a bit slow. I came with a group for lunch (with reservation), and we shared some appetizers, which were good but underwhelming. I enjoyed the tuna tartare, but was not impressed by the severely overpriced salad. For the main, I got their tomato pasta and it was unfortunately among the worst pasta I've had at a restaurant (I honestly preferred the kind that I can make at home for less than $5 in 15 minutes), especially at a high price point. Maybe I just ordered wrong, but I felt the food wanting.

    Classic meringue cake

The food is always reliably delicious!! Old school classic place that is always a joy.

They made us just stand in the walkway without seating us because they had something, completely understandable but it was cramped and it felt so weird just standing in the way. The vibe was okay ish and food wasn't all that. They make you rush could not have a great time. Went to the plaza right after. the vanilla cake was good and also the bellini

Quick stop to celebrate a birthday and the food, the service - pure excellence. We were surprised by a complimentary slice of their meringue cake - which I am still thinking about...so good!

The menu has plenty of variety across pastas, seafood, and cocktails, with some unique dishes that made the experience memorable. The drinks were a highlight, and the seafood options stood out the most for me. My Tipsy Tayke: The Fragola Fizz was juicy, fruity, and refreshing. The Forever Summer was another standout, with the smokiness of the mezcal blending really well with the fruit flavors without overpowering them. Both are easy recommendations depending on whether you want something fruity or a little more complex. My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Seafood Ravioli Unique, flavorful, and packed with different seafood flavors. The ravioli itself was delicate and had a tendency to fall apart, but the flavor made up for it. Standout: Calamari Crispy, seasoned, and enjoyable. It had a slightly chewy texture, but I still found myself going back for more. The Carpaccio wasn't necessarily for me texture-wise, but I really enjoyed the greens and dressing that accompanied it. The garnish felt intentional and helped bring the dish together. The Pappardelle came with plenty of sauce but could have used more flavor overall. The complimentary bread was also tougher and chewier than I prefer. Desserts: The Lemon Sorbet was easily my favorite dessert. Bright, refreshing, and packed with real lemon flavor. The Mango Sorbet was another refreshing option with a smooth tropical sweetness. The Panna Cotta Cheesecake leaned closer to a mousse in texture and was definitely on the sweeter side. I especially enjoyed it with the cherry, which helped balance everything out. Service: Warm and attentive throughout the meal, fitting the inviting atmosphere. Plates From My Visit: Calamari Carpaccio Seafood Ravioli Pappardelle Lemon Sorbet Mango Sorbet Panna Cotta Cheesecake Fragola Fizz Forever Summer In Conclusion: A warm Chelsea Italian spot with strong cocktails, unique seafood dishes, and refreshing desserts. The Seafood Ravioli was the highlight of the savory side, but whatever you do, save room for that Lemon Sorbet. Stamped by Elajas

When we entered the restaurant and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were delighted to find free wine provided for us to pour in the elevator. Admittedly, it was red wine, so not my favorite, and it did taste cheap, but still appreciated. To start off, we ordered the onion torta, focaccia, and smashed potatoes. The onion torta was surprisingly good and tasted like a form of french onion soup. As a focaccia enthusiast, the focaccia was fluffy and delicious. We also got the charred beans, carrots, ravioli, tagliatelle, ravioli, and trout to share. The charred beans were surprisingly the long beans and not the smaller ones we expected. However, they were very juicy and better than we thought they would be. The rigatoni resembled cacio e pepe with its pepperiness, the tagliatelle tasted like standard red sauce, but i did enjoy the ravioli and the ricotta inside. For dessert, we had the basque cheesecake which was alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake. Overall, we had a great time at Ci Siamo and I would definitely recommend ordering the focaccia and onion torta and we could have skipped the carrots, beans, trout, and tagliatelle.
