Poached too long. Otherwise, good.
Wendy B.

Cookie cutter breakfast menu, not that it is a problem. But the breakfast we had was not up to standards enough to make us return. What tempted me was the Eggs Benedict. It was beautiful to look at, but not as good as hoped. First of all, my dish was not hot. I wished the English muffin had been toasted sufficiently to crisp up those craggy parts. If it was toasted at all, I could not tell. The hollandaise sauce was rather bland, not bad, but missing a bright, lemony flavor. And probably a bigger expectation, the poached eggs were barely runny. What were good were the nice pieces of good tasting bacon and fresh spinach leaves. That saved me from being wholly disappointed. I chose their house potatoes to go with the Benedict, but these came out barely warm, and worse yet, old tasting. I ended up requesting they be replaced with hash browns, and those were great, a big improvement. Our other breakfast choice was a Blueberry Belgian waffle. It was unremarkable tasting and lacked crispness. Again, it was not particularly warm, the butter on top did not melt. I've had better. The server was very good considering they were pretty full that day. However, the food took much longer than it should have to arrive, which may have explained why nothing came out hot except for the crispy hash browns that replaced the disappointing house potatoes. One final note. How hard is it for a restaurant as long-staying as this one is, to serve a decent glass of water? It was undrinkable. I shudder to think what their coffee must taste like.

Service and food is always amazing! Shout out to our girl Belen, she is the best! She'll take good care of you. See you next time Haven Haus and Belen, thanks

It can get noisy!

PSA: if you or your child is noise sensitive, bring ear plugs or your loop. On top of the typical conversational din, music is played on the loud side. Not bad for normal but may be difficult for those who are sensitive. Our waitress was a sweetie. She offered to turn the music down a notch for us. She was also wonderfully attentive and offered great advice on the food. The space is fashionably decorated and very IG-worthy The food: they know how to plate their fare to make it all IG-worthy. We ordered their breakfast platter and wow, it's a lot of food. Was glad we had ordered it to share. Basically they took a food tray and filled it with full servings of waffles/pancakes/french toast and 6 each of sausages/bacon, bowl of fruit and scrambled eggs. Their signature coffee flight is highly recommended as well!! Super tasty but messy!! So bring your wet wipes!

Just went here for my birthday and it was AMAZING!! Ambiance: SOOOOO CUTESY AND AESTHETIC!! I loved the decor they had going on! The music was the perfect volume, not too loud but it wasn't dead silent in there, and the bathrooms were clean! Service: I wish I remembered the waitresses name but she was AMAZINGGGGGG. She was on it! She was also super friendly and fun to talk to! NEVERRR SAW THE BOTTOM OF MY MIMOSA GLASS BC SHE WAS SOO TENTATIVE. LOVED HER!! Food: No complaints about the food at all, everything was perfect. I even had nibbles of my friends food to try and it was delicious. We got bottomless mimosas for $28 and it was totally worth it! I loved how there was a variety of juices you could choose from the mimosa. I willll definitely be returning for another girls brunch!

I want to start by saying our server Dre was absolutely amazing. One of the best servers I've ever had at any restaurant establishment. She was attentive, friendly, gave food recommendations, very helpful, and was efficient. You can tell she loves her job and enjoys doing what she does. Onto the food, it was just as great. I got the chilaquiles verdes and they were delicious, not soggy and flavorful. Others in my party got the breakfast enchiladas verdes, chilaquiles rojos, and the garden benny; they said all were delicious. All our drinks were amazing as well. The environment is absolutely nice and the music was bumpin lol. Our table was nice and clean, as well as the place always looks so nice. Again, great dining experience, SHOUTOUT DRE, best server!

Belgian Waffle

Came in with my family and we all had different dishes. Everything was tasty for the most part and came out shortly after ordering. Waffle was too crispy I would say. The English muffin on my classy Benny was so crispy and borderline burnt. Service was mid but it didn't really take away from the experience. Didn't have any drinks besides the not so tasty tap water. Good vibes for the restaurant not too loud or crazy.

Coffee flight- pretty but not good

A friend told me about this place. So as I was looking for a brunch spot we decided to come here. Its an ok size place, I love the decor and the music and atmosphere here. They dont try to pack a lot of seating into here like other places (Madre, im looking at you). So it feels spacious and nice. Our waitress was super nice. Very knowledgeable about the menu. Checked on us frequently. And was just bubbly and friendly without being forced or exhausting. They have quite an extensive menu. Breakfast and lunch all day. They even have several types of coffee flights and coffee drinks. I ordered their birria tacos, bone in chicken wings and signature coffee flight. Food comes out quickly. But the quality and taste was just OK. The birria in the taco was all clumped together. It was quite odd, and a little off-putting. Having to bite thru that hunk of shredded meat. It was on the oiler side of things. The consume felt too thin. They served it on a wooden cutting board type plate. Which is nice and all, until the juices starts dripping off the side of the board because its all flat.... the chicken wings were really tiny. Like as though from a baby chicken. Flavors were good. Nice and sticky sauce to it. The flight of ice coffee was not good. It felt watered down and diluted without being cold. After the ice melted it was even more watered down. It was just sweet on sweet. Presentation looked beautiful but that was about it. I rather have cold black coffee from home then drink those again. What really saved this review was the fact that we were able to sit and talk for some time. And our waitress was super nice and attentive. I think I'll order something else when I come back. And definitely no coffee flight for me.

Chilaquiles verdes with soft scrambled eggs
Pearl H.

Chilaquiles verdes with soft scrambled eggs were a 10/10. The green sauce was mild and flavorful (I asked for some extra on the side) and my soft scrambled eggs were done perfectly. Finding a brunch spot that knows how to cook soft scrambled eggs can be a hit and miss and how I rate a place has a lot to do with how they cook my eggs. Haven Haus nailed it. Their rice and beans were delicious together with the tangy touch of the onions. The service: 10/10, our server was McKenzie and not only was she friendly and knowledgeable, but, super efficient.

Had a brunch with some friends, greeted and helped right away. Clean atmosphere and the food is always good. Special thanks to Amber she's made the last couple visits very pleasant. Her food and drink recommendations are 10/10 and her service is SUPERB. Will be adding this place to my brunch rotation.

We arrived at a plaza where parking was a bit limited, so just a heads up, please plan accordingly. When we walked into Haven Haus Cafe, it was a little busy, but the wait was only about 10 minutes, which really wasn't bad at all. We ordered the Brunch Board, and honestly, it was huge and absolutely worth every penny. It felt like we really got our money's worth with this one. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, the waffle was perfectly crispy, and the French toast had the right texture (not soggy at all). Overall, it's definitely a bang for your buck kind of meal. Quick note for my fellow diabetics: they don't offer diet syrup, so you may want to bring your own. The ambiance was great music (90's, 2000s R&B) with light background chatter, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy brunch.

Coconut Iced Latte
Ariana G.

Instantly fell in love with this place the moment I walked in on Christmas Eve. The atmosphere was so aesthetic and cozy..the lights, greenery, and overall vibe made it feel extra special. The service was also very attentive, which made the experience even better. I ordered the bacon avocado Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious hands down the highlight of my meal. So flavorful and perfectly made. The only downside was the country potatoes, which were pretty bland and lacked seasoning, so next time I'd probably opt for veggies or fruit instead. Since it was the holiday season, they had special drinks, and I tried the holiday coconut latte so good. Smooth, flavorful, and festive without being overpowering. Overall, I'd definitely come back and would 100% recommend this spot for both the ambiance and the food.

We opted for the alfajores, strawberry croissant, and warm ham and cheese croissant. First, the alfajores! Delicious, delicious, DELICIOUS! This wonderful South American dessert was properly made and HUGE. The filling and the outside cookie were both perfect -- the flavors felt like a symphony dancing across my tongue. Next, the strawberry croissant: a perfectly flaky pastry filled with creamy, smooth custard that had just the right amount of everything. It was like a dream. Third and finally, the ham and cheese croissant -- OMG! I don't remember ever having a ham and cheese croissant like this before. This was quite possibly the best one I've ever eaten. I emailed that Saturday while still in the store, and by Sunday morning I already had a response from Victoria. She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process! I sent her inspiration pictures, and she quickly provided three different quote options. All of the inspiration cakes I sent included fresh flowers, and Victoria explained that we would need to bring our own flowers to the bakery the Friday before pickup so they could safely place them on the cake the next morning. Everything went smoothly, and when we arrived to pick up the cake, it looked absolutely stunning!
