Haven Haus is a go to for us. The interior is decorated so boho cute (Bob Ross painting on the TV for ambiance value) and the prices are very affordable for brunch nowadays! The staff is usually great, and this visit was no different. Amber was our server and she was fantastic. We ordered a seasonal beverage (Maple Espresso Latte) which was soooo delicious. Not overly sweet, a fall feel to it and an edible leaf to bless my instagram! The only feedback I would have was that it wasn't super hot. It was just warm and I'm a sucker for a HOT coffee. We also ordered a Classy Benny with regular bacon and avocado toast with an egg. Both were great, but both eggs could have been cooked for maybe 20 seconds longer as the whites were a teeny bit runny, but not to the point of being grossed out (IYKYK) haha. Both were tasty, good portions, seasoned, flavorful, etc. our only feedback on the food is the same as the coffee. They were just a tad luke warm. The waitlist here gets pretty wild on a weekend (so does the parking), so be sure to utilize their online waitlist! Very helpful! The coffee situation, however, was... less welcoming to my decaf existence. I was told they can only do decaf as warm drinks, which I can live with. I then asked for a decaf cappuccino and was told yes, they could make it using a pour over coffee. Yes. A pour over. For a cappuccino. At that point I could practically hear an Italian nonna dropping a wooden spoon somewhere in the afterlife. Because we all know a cappuccino is built on espresso, not "whatever we had lying around near the kettle." My husband and I went for breakfast this morning, the menu was amazing and the service and the food was on point. However, the music they play on the speakers is Very loud and so obnoxious! We could barely hear each other talking across the table. There were several families sitting in the middle at tables with kids who were screaming for 45 minutes who made the experience less enjoyable- (not Haven Haus' fault). Found this restaurant on tiktok and had to check it out. The restaurant was BUSY! They don't take reservations but you can join the waitlist online, which is a nice feature. The restaurant itself is super cute. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but still really cute. The food was good and there were multiple items I wanted to try on the menu and will definitely go back to try more items. I got the signature coffee flight and it was yummy. The s'mores and crème brûlée were my favorites. Especially cracking the top of the brûlée one. I had the brunch burger. It was cooked perfectly and was a thickly juicy burger with the egg also cook d perfectly. My friends got the biggie bagel and both were surprised that it had a chipotle sauce on it since no sauce was mentioned in the description on the menu. Both said the bagel was delicious with the exception of the unexpected sauce. The sausage is a smash patty style which they both loved. Here's the reason for the 3 stars: The service was mid. When we were seated we were asked if we wanted to start with water. He asked if spring was ok and we said sure. Confused by the question. He brought a large bottle of Evian water and cups of ice. Cool... didn't think much of it except maybe that was how they did water. The server didn't come by to offer more ice or water. Had to wave him down to get more. At no point did he mention the water was $5 AND none of the menus had pricing for drinks that weren't coffees or cocktails. No juice or soda options listed anywhere. They definitely need to make guests aware that the spring water is $5 a bottle instead of just asking is spring ok right after we're seated and haven't had a chance to look at things. I had requested no hash browns on my brunch burger, but it came with them. I was scraping them off when he came to see how things were. Didn't apologize for them being on. My daughter had requested bacon only on her bagel but got both sausage and bacon on it. She was ok with them both, but it showed our server didn't listen to our requests. Her bagel also came sliced so awkwardly (half was sliced too thin/thick on pieces) she wasn't able to eat it as a sandwich. The coffees were not that great and they were very small portion for the price that it was, we went ahead and placed a bigger order for drinks and like I said again coffee sounds great on paper not too great once you're drinking it we then placed our order for our food. Portions are OK. The food is not that good. Everything was very mediocre and extremely expensive for what it is , Like I said I believe you're paying for the atmosphere the look of the place the trendiness ,if you want good quality food and good drinks this is not the place. Been coming here for a while now and I love the vast menu! Some items are a hit and others I find to be whatever. This last time I went I got the Chilaquiles in Salsa Verde with Chorizo and it was truly amazing! So much flavor and would definitely get it again. I love their specialty drinks and find their matches are all pretty good. I do suggest checking in online for their Yelp WaitList as you could wait a pretty minute. I came here as part of a brunch outing. I came with a friend and was seated pretty much right away. It was only 9 AM so I found that part of the experience pretty enjoyable right off the bat. Some brunch places are so booked that you have to wait over an hour just to get to sit down. The staff was pretty nice and approachable. They do ask one or more times how everything is and whether we need anything else. It was just about the right frequency and not too excessive. I ordered the meat lover's omelet with hash browns on the side. The dish came out pretty timely. Also, the seasoning was just right as well. Other than some of the meat like the sausage being on the salty side, it was the right amount for me. Some restaurants will compensate for their flavors by adding too much salt or seasoning. Luckily, Haven Haus is not too excessive with theirs. The only complaint I can offer is the Eggs Benedict that my friend ordered. We found the egg to be on the raw or uncooked side rather than a light poach. Otherwise, I thought the meal seemed just right to me. The sound level was a bit on the higher side. You could hear all the other guests chit chatting in a low roar kind of way. It's not too bad and I think it's still low enough for you to have your own conversation. It could be a bit hard to hear something like a phone call or a more complex discussion. It may be too loud if you really need to catch up with someone for years but otherwise, might be just enough. I would like to try the place again when I get a chance. read more

It's such a cute/fun spot, it was neat and clean, and they made great use of space. The service was quick and attentive, and all of food was delicious! We started with a "Beach Please" latte and a mimosa flight. Both were a win! The latte had such great flavor but wasn't overly sweet either, which I loved! And the mimosas were perfect and not overly poured with juice. The food was all incredible! All of the flavors worked so well together in the Meat Lovers Skillet. I did add an extra egg to it, since we were sharing, and I'm glad I did since they really load it up with the potatoes and meat. As a side I was able to get a single biscuit with gravy - which I appreciate so much because I always want to order biscuits and gravy, but it's always too much for me - and it did not disappoint. We also ordered the Crunchy French Toast with pecans for something sweet and it was so yum! The host Reese was incredibly kind and helpful. We had a wheelchair so we had to switch seating a few times and she was so patient. Our server Bellan (probably spelling it wrong) was just as patient and friendly the whole experience. Our table had the chilaquiles- one with carnitas, one with chorizo and one with Barbacoa. We were looking for a nearby breakfast spot, and Haven Haus came up on Yelp plus I'd seen some tempting Instagram videos showcasing their offerings. We visited on a Monday morning around 9 a.m., the place wasn't too busy at first, but it steadily filled up. We were seated right away in a cozy corner booth and given a few minutes to browse their rather extensive menu. We started off with coffee, a "Beach, Please" and a Spanish Latte. Both were good! When it came time to order, we could not decide because everything sounded great. We debated between the Benedict, Breakfast Enchiladas, Chicken and Waffles... and finally settled on the chilaquiles, a meat lover's skillet, and churro French toast. The skillet came with a choice of toast or biscuit with gravy and we went with the biscuit. The chilaquiles, I choose green sauce, arrived topped with purple onions, served with rice and beans, and I added carnitas. The flavors were spot-on and had an authentic Mexican taste with hearty beans and rice. The skillet was generous, cheesy, and satisfying. Portions were huge; even though we were hungry, we couldn't finish our plates. Overall, we definitely recommend Haven Haus.
