Manny from Hawthorne Auto was my salesman and Sean was my Finance Manager when I made my vehicle purchase. I had to come on to give them the credit they deserved. I have never had such a great comfortable experience that I had at a dealership. They were very fast and organized and got straight to the point. Very informative. The process was well managed and I can't believe how much they taught me. Manny took me on a very nice test drive and explained the vehicle in great detail. Sean sat me down offered me something to drink and explained my contract to me and when he was done I couldn't think of a question because he covered it all. He worked with me and helped me to be sure I was in a payment that I could afford. They even had a insurance person there and she worked hard to get me a great discount. She took the time to explain what all I was paying for instead of taking my money give me anything. SHe was wonderful as well. I am definitely referring everyone I know to go to see them. The owner was disgusting and was asking me personal questions he took me up to the 2nd floor which apparently is his own little apartment up there. I did the online application. I received a call from a salesman named David. He told me that I would need to bring 2000 with me to get a certain car even though the ad clearly states you can get the car with 0 down and you have 5 months to build your down payment. I drove all the way to there dealership. The drive took me 1.5 hours to get there. I brought the down payment with me. They actually showed me the car. I was amazed at how much it was beat up. As a matter of fact the battery was dead on the car and I had to show the manager and lot guy how to properly jump the car. I was taken inside the showroom. They had me sit down in front of this jerk finance guy. He asked me how much I had to put down. I told him exactly what the salesman told me to bring. I also told him since I had 5 months to come up with more down payment I would give him a total of 6000. He said sorry that 2000 is not enough up front. He said he would need more. I didnt even ask him what that was. I just walked out. These guys are liars and over charge for all these vehicles. Not only are they charging about 10,000 over what the car is worth but they are charging a 29 percent interest rate on top of that. JUST Beware that they will bury you so far in $$ that you will never get out of the vehicle. It will break before you will ever pay it off. There are way better places then this shit show. I purchased a vehicle here in february. I was told the vehicle went through a 120 point inspection and had a carfax report showing no prior accidents. A month later part of my headlight fell off. I decided to visit because they advertise as having their own finance in house operation etc. I and a friend look at several cars and even test drive one. We were led to a middle-aged blk finance guy who was stoic, regimental, and seems a bit disturb we were interrupting his relaxation. I was employed but according to him not making enough. he asks how much i was making, then said we can't help you. My credit was certainly not perfect but i had no bankruptcy and he said i owed too much which was a couple of credit cards. That was that i wasted several hours to be told in less than 5 mins i was an unworthy customer. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Later got it appraised and it was only worth $5,000, I didn't notice the crack in the windshield until a few day later and asked them could they fix it. They claimed to have a guy who would take care of it, they gave me his info so I could call him. I never got a response. I got the crack sealed myself and asked could they reimburse me since their "guy" never responded. They told me no. Literally the next day the car breaks down while on my way to work. We take it back to them in which they claim it was the starter that went out. Also while driving 2 of the hubcaps fell off. We also learned they don't report any of your info to the credit bureaus. We made monthly payments on time every month and it never showed on my credit report. It's honestly like the car didn't even exist at that point.
