( Don't get assistances from Marcel he's a fast talker and fraud) But I'm at disbelief on how a dealership don't care about selling you a vehicle in this conditions. UPDATE** It takes multiple men to attack one woman!! For the record, it IS ILLEGAL to refuse to provide copies of documentation to a consumer that has their signature on it. I was told I need a lawyer to request it for me. Also, it's now considered good business practices to refuse to service someone when they ask questions about their deal that you have no answers to, so they just create their own. Long story short, deceptive business practices were utilized to sell a faulty vehicle. They did not service the vehicle prior to selling because there is no documentation to prove they did and the engine light came on the next day. The info sticker was placed conveniently on the front right side of the windshield to obstruct the view of the crack. They claim I made a side verbal deal to be able to return the car when I wouldn't ever have another conversation, unless recorded, with anyone who works there. And also, law requires the $250 fee to buy a cancellation policy be deducted from any restocking fee, this was not done either. And by the way since there's no sign posted, they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone requiring them to actually do their jobs and they'll make side comments in languages you can't understand and make faces amongst each other while dealing with you. Just for records, I dealt with Mohammad, Jimmy, Mario, some other older, large man, and my salesman was Mickey. I will have my lawyer contact their's, per Jimmy's repeated requests, so that I can obtain my documents with my signatures and we'll go from there. There's more but I'm done for now. SECOND UPDATE** There's a video proving Mohamad's response of our encounter is fabricated. Apparently it's illegal now to video anything though they can surveillance anyone who walks in the building. Other customers are witnesses. Provide evidence to support that you all didn't refuse to provide copies of documents with my signature!! Continue to do your job and provide for your family, as you put it, by selling those faulty overpriced cars. THIRD UPDATE** So clearly you all aren't that busy because you have loads of time to respond to my reviews. But when you respond to this one, make sure you confirm whether or not you provided me with copies of documents with my signature on them or if any of your customers noticed me as a nuisance at all since I caused such a disturbance. You did not offer to fix anything. No one would refuse free services. You repeatedly, not politely, told, not asked, me to leave after you refused to speak anymore about documents you wouldn't provide. And everyone is only treated like family until there is a problem. And be sure to use grammarly and spellcheck in your response this time. I'm sure you meant I was loud, not load, amongst other errors which are lies anyway. read more

Very dishonest, incompetent, and uncooperative. I went in to test drive some cars I'm interested in, only to be nearly coerced into buying a car I knew nothing about. The moment I told them I wasn't sure about buying today, the facade they put up of being friendly and attentive disappeared instantly. They refused to unlock the doors or allow any test drives unless I was serious about buying right there and then on the spot, and the representative lied about the keys not working to unlock the cars I was interested in. I am a cash buyer, and only wanted to test drive a few makes and models I had my eyes on to see how they drove and handled, but because I wasn't intent on buying today, I never got the chance to even sit inside any car on the lot. So I drove up the freeway to CarMax, and was allowed to check out and test drive as many vehicles as I chose, without any difficulty or pressure. They also didn't think less of me because I didn't buy a car sight unseen. My daughter went there and got a 2016 altima, her 1st car, the finance manager was snake, 10 days after the purchase the alternator and transmission goes out, the extended warrant that she got was a joke, he told her to get the Premier one, turns out that warranty program only pays 75% and the customer has to pay the sales tax.. I cosigned for a car here for my grandson Back in April of 2019. Nine months later I had to repo the car from him because he had fallen 3+ months behind. I caught up the payments and have been paying for the car every month since then. This month (July 2021) they wouldn't take a payment from me stating that they couldn't verify insurance. This has gone on now for three days. I sent them the insurance docs and a copy of the Insurance card. Then they tell me that because I removed my grandson from the insurance they can not receive a payment from me. Because of all this nonsense I am now two days late. According to H.A.S. I need to either add him back as a driver of the vehicle or give them proof that he has insurance on another vehicle. I was able to do the latter. However, at no fault of my own they refused to wave the late fee and of course the additional $7.00 to process the payment over the phone. Lot of fuss over an additional $25 but the attitude of these folks is callous And as the co-signer I shouldn't be subject to such incompetence. If they had repoed the vehicle that would not had hesitated to ruin my credit. Three days to make a payment is ridiculous! Buyer beware! Shop elsewhere. read more

Oh if I could give 0 stars I would! We came here to buy a car fully. They had the exact car we wanted however the Sun roof was broken. "Managers" Sam and Haidor (the con artists themselves) told us that they would fix the broken Sun roof for us for no extra charge (which was our only hang up about the car) so we bought it. Paid $20,000 right on the spot. The car was marked $2,000 over market price so we negotiated for them to take $1,000 off which they did. We decided to keep the car there so it would be first in line for service in the morning. We spent the whole next day trying to figure out where the car was. They claimed they needed to send it to a Sun roof specialist at the Jeep dealership. Not a single person in the whole establishment would or could tell us where the car was physically all day long. We called every jeep dealerships around and they said they did not have our car. We spoke to 8 different people at the Auto Square and they had "no idea" where the car was. Now for the best part...Sam finally texted us and informed us that since they gave us "such a discount" they were not going to fix the sunroof because it would be too expensive. We made an agreement that we would buy the car if they fixed the sunroof (which is something they offered). So both Sam and Haidar lied to us and sold us a car $1,000 over market price with a broken feature. So since they weren't going to fix our car we wanted to come pick it up. They told us we couldn't get it until the morning and still refused to tell us where they sent it. We called several people and they all hung up on us. Sam stopped answering our calls and texts and blocked my partner's phone number. So not only is he a liar, he's also a coward. Couldn't even own up to his lie and then proceeded to call me the liar...sounds like projection to me. I called the police to see if there was anything I could do and the officer noted that Hawthorne Auto Square is a shady business that has a bad reputation. The officer proceeded to tell us we made a good decision by paying in full because they have quite the history of destroying people with their interests rates and other shady behavior. At the end of the day, it's just not worth it and I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. They say a man is only as good as his word....and their words are garbage. I will say the only decent person we interacted with was Manny. He was respectful and apologized for the situation when we were finally able to pick up our car. read more

Today's visit ( 7/29/20) was beyond disgusting. Don't buy from here and don't visit them period. I give em 5 asterisk, not worth any stars. From the gate the sales representative Mohamed was rude and racist the whole vibe was disturbing and just sickening. I put that on my mama! He wasn't wearing his mask out of all the employees up there and did not display not a hit of quality customer service. He didn't ask any of our names, he did as so what brings you in today, no engagement, no smile, he gave off I don't want to help you vibe. We tried to be patient to maybe let him warm up to us or something but nope. He remained the same and once he got my sisters info he began typing and asking questions like my sister was just another number for his sales. Asking her in a rude manner questions like so why did this happen and why did that happen and what can you put down, also trying to run her social before she can say what she's looking for etc. He yelled out to his co-worker can you take this in a bit I gotta leave at 11:30 for lunch. He told her he can only give her $500 for her car without any inspection. Where they do that at? I walked off to keep my cool and came back and then when all got up to get another sales rep. I went off told the receptionist that I need to speak with a manager because he displayed the worst customer service ever! I've worked 5 star companies and this here is not acceptable and straight trash. I even told him he's wrong and just trash for the way he has been acting and it's not acceptable. Purchased a 2016 Jetta two days ago. The remote on the key just randomly stopped working. Called Sean Has (financial advisor) and he said oh that's an accessory you're lucky it even came with one. We can't do anything about that. Then my tire pressure light came on and I brought the car in for service. The head mechanic is beyond rude. He told me to leave my car for four hours just so they could put air in my tires. Then yells at me for asking if they were going to replace the tires. Then finally when it was time for me to leave he just parks the car in front of me and walks away. Never tells me if they replaced the tires or what exactly was done to the car. He said and I quote "Just look at it" Seriously, how rude can you be? Customer service at this establishment is clearly not their strong point read more
