Expected better but my first experience here was a little Haywire! 3 out of 6 people that ordered filets had overcooked and salty steak. Hosts were not organized and table assignment was a nightmare. Party of 8 adults were given a tiny table that was best to seat 6. Our server was nice but seemed very busy. Service overall could've been much better. This was like a step up from Outback Steakhouse, not impressed but may try it one more time.

Good service. Great food! This place has been on my bookmark since it's been open. I can see the chandeliers from I-10. My son and I finally got to dine. It was 25 mins before closing when we walked in. And 10 before ordering. My food was every bit of amazing, I'm talking like I wanted to lick my plate type of good food. Our waiter was amazing and welcoming, he suggested the red fish! I love you forever! He get 10*********** I enjoyed the red fish topped with creole sauce filled with crab, shrimp, & crawfish from what it appeared I've noticed. Came with perfect mashed potatoes w/ chives, and baby green spring mix. Yes I scrap my plate and licked my fork. 10/10 def recommend. We had the tacos which were great flavor & texture. I feel like it shall definitely be 4 tacos for the price& portion. My son had the kid burger, which would've ended up being a higher price child burger, once he explained the specifications of his sandwich. No sir, child burger as cheese please. (Especially after we just left a grad event where the top 100 burgers were catered. And big boy ate 2 or more. I think not). Extra deets: (flaws and all) (Flaws*****) Some folks were at the bar as if this place was not closed. And one of the recovery guys kept visiting our table to collect our dishes. When I was simply taking a breather, while my son had a restroom visit. When he came back around he collect the ketchup before we got the box of fries that was a bit annoying. You know how you'll nibble while you're boxing. Common courtesy a gentleman would've asked prior to collecting. (He was not our waiter) (All *****) "no plastic ware" on a day I didn't carry my dining tools. Lucky enough I had backup in my glove box. They really don't have "TO GO" plastic ware??? They must not do TAKE OUT orders perhaps This definitely would've been a deal breaker for me not to dine off I hadn't had plastic ware. Military discount is honored here.

Came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago for lunch. I loved the ambiance. Kind of like a rustic chic. The service was very attentive. Food (pics attached) - we started with the Vaquero shrimp. It's fried, dipped in an ancho hot honey sauce and served with a side of BBQ lime aioli. Very tasty and highly recommend. - For my main, I selected the chicken club and substituted the aioli with bbq sauce on the side. Just okay. I'll try something else next time. However, the fries are fried in beef tallow and were excellent. - my friends got the chicken Cobb and the Western Burger. They both enjoyed their meal. Great hang. I'll be back.

If you're looking for a place that feels like Texas turned the charm all the way up, Haywire is your place! From the moment you walk in, the rustic-modern atmosphere sets the tone - warm lighting, beautiful wood finishes, and that upscale ranch vibe that somehow manages to feel stylish and comfortable. I total complete transformation from the Vallone's restaurant that was here before. Looking at the menu is an eyesore. The food is just as impressive as the setting. Every dish tastes thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. The menu does an incredible job of highlighting classic Texas comfort food but elevating it with high-quality ingredients and creative touches. Elk tacos?! I've never heard of that but I'm intrigued! What really drove me to come to Haywire was their popular Cowgirl Dinner they have featured for the month of March. You get 5oz of steak prepared to your liking, crispy tallow fries, Caesar salad AND a dirty martini or lemon drop martini to wash it down all for $30! A price you cannot beat. Service was another standout. Sebastian was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly without being overbearing - exactly what you hope for when you're settling in for a great meal. Between the fantastic food, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service, Haywire is the kind of place that feels perfect for everything from a fun night out to a special occasion. If you want a restaurant that celebrates Texas flavor with a little extra polish, this spot is a must-visit!

Tried Haywire and I'd give it about 3 stars. The atmosphere was nice and the service was decent, but the food itself was just okay. It lacked seasoning and didn't really stand out flavor-wise. Not terrible, but definitely expected more based on the hype.

I recently came here for a group happy hour and had heard lots of hype surrounding this place. The vibe is very western and reminds me of the Rustic. This was quite timely, as we were coming as part of a Rodeo group! Parking can be limited, as it's valet or self-park in the garage. I decided to self-park and found a spot on level 3. Luckily, the garage has direct access to the restaurant so it wasn't a far walk. The restaurant itself is massive with 2 stories and expansive seating on each floor. There are a lot of rooms for events and parties as well as a large patio on both floors. Our group had a large table on the 2nd story patio which gave us a nice view looking towards Memorial City. It was a breezy night, however they brought over an outdoor heater to our table keep us warm. Happy hour is Monday-Friday from 2-6pm and includes $7 select cocktails, wine, and beer, and $7 chips & queso, elk tacos, and sliders. I started out with a Bourbon Smash cocktail which includes bourbon, berries, lemon, simple syrup, and a mint garnish. This was nice and refreshing and was a bit more berry-forward than I was expecting. I would prefer a little more on the bourbon and a little less on the berry. I also got the happy hour red wine which was a red blend and really liked this one! For food, I got the sliders. I think these are exclusive to happy hour but are essentially 2 x mini cheeseburgers from their menu. These were very good - the patty was smash-like and was topped with cheese and sautéed onions. Would definitely order again! I also tried one of my friend's elk tacos, which were actually delicious. I hadn't had elk before but it did not taste gamey at all and the taco seasoning used on the meat was very tasty. My only (minor) complaint was the service. Our servers were also the two bartenders on the 2nd floor, so if the bar was busy, we didn't see our servers for a while. Also, one of the food orders in our group got mixed up: instead of a chips & queso, an elk taco plate was brought out. It took a while to get this remedied due to not having dedicated servers. I look forward to coming back here and trying the chicken fried steak! It's of my favorite foods and I heard they do it great here. They also have a variety of Old Fashioneds, so I look forward to trying those with my CFS! Also given the expansive layout, I now have ideas for my next birthday party!

So glad I came, loved this experience. From the decor to the seating, the aesthetic was luxury western. The food superseded my expectations. I originally came for Cowgirl Dinner but after looking over the menu, I had tk try somwthing else. My server, Kendall was phenomenal and made a birthday celebration very special. 1,000% you should try this place! First of all Christmas there is country magic! I love how country it is and warm-cozy it is. The decor & ambience were a big part of why we chose that for my family bday dinner. The food & drinks did not disappoint either! We order the appetizer sampler: onion rings, friend green tomatoes, queso, and THE BEST tacos I have ever tasted! (Elk so super lean, not greasy but oh so flavorful!) My son ended up ordering the tacos on the kids menu after tasting them and ate every bite! The Fried green tomatoes & onions were perfectly battered & tasted delicious. I went with the steak topped with lump crab and mashed potato side. My husband got the chicken fried steak which I stole a bite of and OMG best one I've had since Dirty's closed down. Def want to return!

Obviously us girls had to try the Cowgirl Dinner (only in the month of March), $30 for a Caesar Salad, Beef Tallow Fries, Steak and a Lemon Drop or Dirty Martini! We also ordered wine off the Happy Hour $6 a glass and some Brussel sprouts because why not! Our waiter was quick and attentive. The ambiance of Haywire leans more western/country but also modern and cute! We love Haywire and probably come once a month! Everything on the menu is good! They have one of the best steak salads.

My friend invited me here for a birthday lunch on Monday around 1 pm for a group of 4. There is a parking lot and garage. It was busy and I did have to circle around given to find a spot the lot but they do offer valet as well. I was first to arrive but there wasn't anyone to greet me for about 5 minutes despite seeing a couple employees so I felt little awkward sitting and waiting. I did admire the beautiful downstairs sitting area and massive bar. The Christmas decor made it feel cozy. Once the remaining party arrived, we were led upstairs which was just as beautiful with the multiple chandeliers, bar and nice view of Memorial area. The server was nice overall but had a flat affect so it didn't feel as welcoming despite celebrating a birthday. I ordered the steak salad medium rare with a side of in house cornbread and it was so fresh and delicious! The meat was tender and cooked as specified. I had to leave early and ordered the highly raved bread pudding to go. I wish the server warned me there was ice cream because it completely melted into soup by the time I got home. The bread pudding was still good but very dense than what I'm used to. Overall, we did enjoy our food but wished we had a more welcoming customer experience.

The last time I was at Haywire I dined on the first floor. The first floor was full, so I was directed upstairs. The place is so much larger than I imagined. Haywire is all things elegant and sophisticated. There is a canapy of chandeliers that creates drama in the room. Upstairs for your dining pleasure you can choose the main dining room, private rooms and indoor and outdoor bar eating. I choose a chicken cobb salad and a glass of Prosecco. Omg the cob was so freshly made where each ingredient was distinctive. My grilled chicken was actually grilled not microwaved. My bacon was crispy without any fatiness. The tomatoes were sweet like cherries and juicy. Before I made my healthy choice, I had a nail biting decision, baby back ribs, double cheeseburger or meatloaf. You can choose from waygu steaks to roasted chicken and many other items in between. I sat at the inside bar and was served by Daniel (a master mixologist), Brad and Essence. I felt the service love! This place is super cool and so laid back. The balcony bar is inviting and the TVs make watching afternoon college football easy to do. My husband really wanted a steak so we stopped in and grabbed one. I just wanted a great salad and landed on the cobb. He devour his steak and claimed it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. He loves a good side salad and this one might be one of his all time faves. My Cobb was delish... and HUGE. I didn't finish it and he had the leftovers for dinner. We live about an hour away, but will definitely return to try more items.

The food was good, the service was horrible. We had a reservation for my mom's 71st birthday. The waiter was extremely rude. He told my brother that he couldn't multitask due to having a migraine. He also was not able to answer any questions regarding the menu. One thing we are not is obnoxious or overwhelming. We are very humble and respectful, and to have him treat us like this is a HUGE PROBLEM. I didn't not say anything due to my mom bday and his migraine,however I will be making a personal appearance to the restaurant to ensure my review and feelings are digested accordingly. read more

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Houston. OMG, everything from appetizers to drinks to entrees are amazing. Huge kudos to the chef and all the people in the kitchen. Everything is amazing. I had the Rib Eye with Broccolini and French fries. The wine was amazing excellent! I didn't order dessert but the corn bread muffins were delicious. The secret to good chicken fried steak is that all ingredients have to be roughly the same temperature. When you get a chicken fry and the coating is twice as big as the meat, the steak, eggs, and flour were way off. Fancy place, not sure how they make it selling country food. read more

This establishment opened up in our town recently and we went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and man it did not disappoint!! The service, ambiance, and the waiting staff were absolutely lovely and incredible! Our server Angelica, was amazing and helped us out with selecting options from the menu when it came to food and drinks and it was a hit!! We were so pleased with her and the food was incredible. For appetizers, we got the elk tacos which was crunchy and savory, along with wagyu beef sliders which for me was top notch and bursting with sweet and savory flavors! That was a hit for both my husband and I! For main course we got the chicken fried steak with sides of mac&cheese and Chimichuri rice. The dish itself comes with whipped mashed potatoes and green beans. The CFS was probably one of the best I have tasted so far, Mac and cheese is comfort food, it was delicious and they added their own twist to it! Chimichuri rice was good but okay, I think next time I'll op to try other sides instead! Overall we had a wonderful time and were very pleased with the food, drinks, and dessert we got! Oooohhh speaking of dessert we got the whiskey bread pudding, you must try it!! Another great choice recommended by our waiting staff. It was the perfect ending to our night! We will definitely be coming back here with friends next time. This place is perfect for date nights, an evening out with friends and or you can even host parties here, as they have many private rooms to accommodate your guests! The food is delicious every time and our server today, Olivia l, is amazing. I had the venison chili and cornbread for my entree and it was delicious. Had all 3 happy hour menu food items, yummy!!! I need some help with a resturant rating. I need a few folks to go try Haywire. I meannn.. I thought it was pretty good. The pork chop trumps Perry's pork chop in my opinion. The elk tacos were great. Chili was a little too different...but that sweet cornbread was fire. I tried the crab dip and it was also good as well as the onion rings. Everyone with a fish option didn't care for it really...they've had better. The drinks were skronnnggggg... but the side cars hit for $23. Some friends agreed the resturant was good...some said they don't need to go back.. some said it was okay but deserves a second try. I think what didnt help the experience is that we didn't know up front about no split checks and we were a party of 15...but we literally watched another table split the check 13 different ways with no issues....so that tainted our experience some. So when yall make it there, share your experience and rating with me please! I'd be interested on where you put them on the spectrum! read more

It's a beautiful restaurant, with inviting and polite staff. However the food was a little lack luster. I had the petite filet cooked rare. It was a little salt heavy and very dry! I had a Caesar salad as my side that might have been very good had the lettuce not been wilted and warm, it seemed like it sat under a heat lamp with my steak. The other people I was with enjoyed fish. They all said they appreciated the small portions. Cocktails were good but nothing special. Not sure I would go back simply because it's almost an hour to Kingwood. read more

Haywire has a high-end, rustic vibe. The interior was clean and fancy-looking with several chandeliers hanging from the ceiling offering dim-lighting alongside natural light in certain areas. We really enjoyed our meals. If you like seafood, I highly recommend the blackened catfish and shrimp with roasted cajun corn. The dish was super tasty. I finished every bite of it. While waiting to be sat, they happened to have fresh jalapeño and bacon biscuits and their kolache ball. both were delicious, especially the biscuit that held me over until my meal and was a free taster we lucked out on getting to try. I had the most amazing birthday celebration with two of my best friends here at this new steakhouse. The service was great and the ambiance seemed like you would hear Beyoncé say this ain't Texas ain't no hold 'em! The steak was delicious and so was the catfish! This place can be upscale or casual depends on you and your party but you're sure to find. Something here to go haywire over!!! read more

Love the ambiance here. The smell of wood and leather fills the air. Very new place as they opened up Monday of the past week so it hasn't been a week yet. Elevator to go upstairs is a nice touch and love the decor. Food is decent. We enjoyed it and nothing extravagant but nothing bad either. Reminds me of Cracker Barrel and they have great portions. Onion rings are super huge and filling, crab dip was good, burger is average (we had the regular and lamb meat), pork ribs tasted good, and chicken fried steak was good. Drinks were ok. The Judd was a nice touch with the barrel. Great service too. Highly recommended to come by and enjoy the experience. read more

The most beautiful eatery in memorial city we visited at night so the outside scenery was amazing! They knew exactly where to put a Texan establishment. The waitress was over the top she explained why they opened up in Houston and also where the meats are from. TL:DR - great food (filet), amazing service (Ezra) My wife and I are in Houston for a few days and randomly picked this place to eat. Neither of us are big on what prudent people would call "researching". We just assumed it would be an ok place to eat dinner the day before my wife's birthday dinner. About halfway through our experience she asked me why I looked upset. "I made a huge mistake bring you here tonight. How am I supposed to find someplace better than this for your birthday tomorrow?" My filet, injected with cloves of roasted garlic, was easily the best thing I've ever tasted in my life. Her wagyu beef chicken-fried steak was equally delicious. The Haywire old fashioned, smoked right at your table, has replaced my #1 favorite old fashioned (sorry Boathouse at Disney Springs). Ezra was the best server we've ever had. He put on a master class on how to make a dining experience unforgettable. For example: "Hey Ezra, tomorrow is my wife's birthday and we've never been to Texas. Is there someplace nearby that we can do cowboy stuff?" "Umm...you can go ride horses at my uncle's ranch if you want." Now I'm not from Texas so that might be a common reply. For all I know everyone's got a ranch-owning uncle here in Houston...but that was a first for me. Ezra has raised the bar and now I'm afraid no other server will be able to come close. read more

Lets get straight into it: The restaurant is beautiful, truly western. The customer service was great, no complaints. We did go on a Tuesday for lunch, so I'm not sure how it is on weekends. The cornbread: 10/10. Its soft, buttery, moist.... its almost like a cake! It doesn't taste like Jiffy (just to say). The mini tacos (I believe they're called Elk tacos?) they were good.... hard shell....7/10. My partner ordered the ribs, and said they were good...fall off the bone. He rated them a 7.5/10. He said they weren't nasty, but they were commercial style ribs. They can satisfy the craving for ribs. After reading about this place I was excited to finally try it. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and think it's mediocre at best. We got the crispy pork belly appetizer (delicious), bison tacos (average/boring) and cheeseburger (too much cheese:beef ratio and way too salty, fries were average). They also only had ~4 beers on draft, none of which were local. We didn't try the cocktails. The Texas themed decor was nice and the service was fine, with the waitress being absent for awhile but checking on us just enough. I attended a goup event last night at Haywire. The reservation was for 6:30 and when we arrived the room was not set up. We were finally seated 30 minutes late. We had a set menu, so I ordered the chicken thinking that was a pretty safe choice. It was so spicy I couldn't eat it. The only thing worth eating were the mashed potatoes. My family and I tried this place out for brunch yesterday, and it was GREAT! I got the Barbacoa Chilaquiles and it was definitely the top pick out of the brunch. My sister got the Ranch Hand Breakfast, and everything was good (especially the bacon), but the jalapeño and bacon biscuit was pretty dry. We made a reservation and went to Haywire last night for a birthday dinner. It was the second time we had been and wanted to try more things on the menu as well. It was raining so having the valet available was a great option. We were seated promptly and enjoyed the atmosphere and decor and great, comfortable, leather seating (hate when restaurants put you on a hard metal or wooden chair). We chatted for a while we waited to be greeted and served. Unfortunately, it was taking a long time, we didn't have any water and no one came by our table or checked on us. We finally got our own water from the prep station and asked waitstaff nearby if some could server us. That's all it took and immediately we were greeted by Tony who was not our server but saw we needed attention. It wasn't his section but he made sure we were well served and received great attention from him the whole evening. In addition, the manager came by several times apologized and took care of our appetizers. It's not about being perfect, it's about ensuring the customer is satisfied no matter what and they did a fantastic job of taking care of us. The food was delicious, served promptly and everyone enjoyed the time together. Also appreciate that though this place was quite busy on a Saturday night the noise level and music wasn't overpowering and we could talk to each other at normal volume. We highly recommend Haywire and want to come back for upstairs happy hour soon. Thanks again to the staff and manager for making it a great evening. read more

In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston. Nonno's Pasta - this dish was my least favorite. I found the flavors to be too cheese forward with not enough acid; Jamon With Your Bad Self - while not much to look at, this dish was outstanding. The pork's texture was simply magical, and the flavors well-balanced. On the side, we had the Fingerlingin Good potatoes, and they lived up to their name: pleasantly crispy and bursting with savory goodness. Desserts: the Olive Oil Cake was a dream: incredibly moist and tender with vanilla richness and a kiss of lemon. The Black Bottom Pie was not my favorite. I would the salt to be too much and couldn't eat more than 2 bites because of it. Service: warm, gracious, attentive, and efficient. As for ambiance, this is where the restaurant misses the mark for me. It's in an old house, and when we walked in, that's exactly what I smelled: old house. Still, if you're looking for a unique, creative menu that delivers on flavors, add nobie's to your bingo card.

I had such high expectations for Haywire after a great first visit, but this experience was truly unacceptable. Weeks prior, I made reservations for a party of 10 for a family birthday dinner. Realizing I needed to add 2 additional guests, I called 48 hours in advance to request the additional seating. I was repeatedly told no, by both staff and a manager. They said it would be too difficult for them to add 2 extra seats to my table because they were booked solid. We even arrived an hour earlier than our reservation time to request in person, but was told no again and warned that extra guests could be turned away as they were not taking any more reservations or walk-ins. We witnessed walk-ins being seated, by the way. This back-and-forth pressured me to uninvite two close friends, who were already in route, in order to avoid putting my guests in an awkward, embarrassing and confusing situation. Then, right before seating, they suddenly said they could accommodate the 2 extra seats after all that stress! It was too late for my friends as they were already headed home. As an apology, I felt compelled to purchase dinner for my friends; still patronizing a business that did not see my business as valuable. Silly me. Meanwhile, there were visibly several empty tables in our section the entire time. Our server, Gabriel, was great. He was attentive, personable and consistent. He more than deserved the additional tip I provided on top of the obligatory 20%. However, the reservation experience was poorly handled and unnecessarily stressful. To make matters worse, I was also charged the 20% gratuity on the to-go orders for my guests I had to turn away because they would not separate these orders from the table bill. Go figure. In a city like Houston where the food scene is competitive, diverse, and constantly evolving, ambiance alone isn't enough. You can have all the fancy chandeliers, ultra-chic aesthetics, and hype, but if the guest experience is mishandled, that's what people remember. This is what make or break a business. I was eagerly anticipating my visit to Haywire, and I couldn't wait to make a reservation. Upon arrival, I was greeted with exceptional service, which set a positive tone for the evening. However, my experience took a turn as the night progressed, so let me share the details. Upon being seated, I noticed that the table was not properly cleaned; the seats were sticky, and there were crumbs still lingering on the surface. While I found the Fried Green Tomatoes to be enjoyable, they could have benefited from a bit more seasoning to elevate their flavor. For the main course, I ordered the 33 oz Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye, accompanied by Mac & Cheese and Roasted Cajun Corn. Unfortunately, the ribeye, which I requested to be cooked medium, arrived medium well. To my dismay, it was tough and lacked the flavor and seasoning I had hoped for, making it the biggest disappointment of the evening. On a positive note, the Mac & Cheese, Roasted Cajun Corn and Bread Pudding were executed to perfection, providing a delightful contrast to my main dish. I want to acknowledge the manager on duty, who was very attentive and genuinely concerned about my experience. He took the time to express his gratitude for my feedback and agreed that the meal did not meet the high standards they strive for. I really wanted to love Haywire after seeing so much hype online, but unfortunately, it just didn't live up to the expectations. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with a beautiful, upscale atmosphere that makes you excited to be there. Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. The service was incredibly slow and, frankly, frustrating. I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was delicious when it finally arrived--about 30 minutes later. It wasn't just my drink that took forever; the entire experience felt drawn-out and lacking attention. We went for brunch, and I ordered the steak and eggs. The food arrived eventually, but I asked for steak sauce right away. I waited so long that my steak got cold and the meat became tough to chew. By the time the sauce came, I had already lost my appetite and couldn't finish my meal. What was even more frustrating was that we were celebrating two birthdays that day. The service was so bad and so slow that we completely forgot to even mention it. The mood was killed, and instead of celebrating, our group just wanted to get out of there and move on with our day. Overall, it's hard to overlook how slow and disorganized the service was. When we arrived at Haywire for our evening out, I initially thought things weren't going to go smoothly because, to our surprise, the fire alarm was blaring. It was a bit chaotic at first, and for a moment, I was worried that our night might be off to a rough start. Thankfully, the fire department arrived promptly and took care of the situation, turning the alarm off quickly. To our relief, we were seated right away, and from there, the evening only got better. The meal itself was nothing short of spectacular--every dish we tried was absolutely fabulous, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Each bite was a true testament to the restaurant's exceptional quality. And the service? It was equally outstanding. The staff was attentive, professional, and really went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. One of the highlights of the evening was undoubtedly the dessert. We ordered the bread pudding, and I have to say, it was hands-down the best I've ever had. What really set it apart was that they use croissants instead of regular bread, giving it a rich, buttery texture that made it absolutely divine. It was the perfect way to end a perfect meal. I recently went to Haywire for my former colleague's graduation celebration. It started off rocky since I got there after everyone else and the servers at the time seemed not to take any notice at all. Then our server, Paul, must have saw the concern on my face for sure (and the other ladies' faces) that the table was running dry and he did not disappoint! He sprang into action & I was impressed at how well he remembered my initial order, along with everyone else's additional orders...he was sharp! It didn't stop there; Paul was very attentive and anticipated the needs of the group. He had a positive vibe that went with the ambiance of the venue...dress code and all! Paul was a perfect gentleman and his service was impeccable!! We had appetizers for the most part. The sliders, elk tacos, and the shrimp were yummy; although the cheese was a bit too thick for the chips. Overall not bad ...but... our server recommended i take my bone in rib eye with garlic butter but my steak arrived with plenty of pepper and no garlic. also it came medium, whereas i had ordered medium rare closer to rare, certainly red. i could tell the server was nice but maybe they did not have enough staff and we were relatively a large party. he would rub the sweat off of his forehead and head with his hand which was gross...at one point i thought i call the manager on the phone and tell him that. finally when you bring so many deserts for a large group to share, please bring serving dishes and plate for each person so we do not all jump on the deserts with spitty spoons...i had to ask him to bring all those... read more

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday after a friend highly recommended it, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. My order was incorrect, and by the time the right dish came out, my wife had already finished her meal. We also ordered dessert for her birthday, but instead of any gesture or celebration, it was simply placed on the table with no acknowledgment, while other tables received full birthday treatment. To make things worse, the payment process felt rushed and unprofessional. What should have been a special night turned into a frustrating one, and I truly hope the restaurant pays more attention to service quality and guest experience in the future. read more

I recently stopped by Haywire and had such a great experience. In honor of International Women's Month, I ordered the Cowgirl Special, and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and exactly the way a good steak should be done. To finish off the evening, we shared a slice of Homestead Cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. It was rich, comforting, and definitely worth saving room for. Between the delicious food and the warm atmosphere, Haywire delivered a wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu. read more

We visited this restaurant for my birthday after a friend's recommendation, but the experience was disappointing. My husband's order was wrong, and by the time it was fixed, I had already finished eating. The birthday dessert came with no acknowledgment, unlike other tables, and the rushed payment process only made things worse. What was meant to be a special night turned frustrating.
