Came here with my son and he loved the food! Fast friendly service with a laid back atmosphere. Tons of food for the process you pay and well worth it. I got a bento with teriyaki chicken, vegetable, egg rolls, and mixed tempura. He got the AYCE and we were so surprised with the portions. When ordering a roll be ready to get a FULL roll!!! We're were use to getting 1/2 a roll since it was a AYCE but nope... not here... so the 1st round was tough lol other than that no complaints! Definitely come try this place out!

Wanted a quick lunch with a craving for fish and stopped by here for the first time. The decor is cute and lively, and the vibes would be great at nighttime. Was there for lunch so it was calm and quiet, and got a lunch Bento. Pretty well priced and came with a lot of food! Got the salmon teriyaki with nigiri and tempura, all my faves. Would recommend~

Dined here for the first time recently while in the area. I knew they offered all-you-can-eat, but we didn't have a huge appetite at the time, so we opted to order à la carte, and everything worked out great. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. With so many items on the menu, we narrowed it down to the Maki & Sashimi combo, a couple of carpaccios, and a shrimp tempura roll. The quality and presentation of the food was top notch. They also have a large drink menu if you're looking to enjoy sake, beer, soju, and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff was kind and attentive. I love the decor, lighting, and layout of the dining area with comfy booths, some with high walls for privacy, and the bar seating looked great, too. I'd come back again and try more items, and maybe the AYCE when my appetite is big enough. This place is worth checking out.

AYCE sushi was dangerously good. Like... "we're not leaving anytime soon" good. Rolls kept coming, fish was fresh, and we were fully committed to the all-you-can-eat lifestyle. But the real MVP was the service. One server running the whole place all night and she handled it like a boss. Always checking on us, drinks never empty, orders flying out like she had clones. Back again! All you can eat sushi! It doesn't get better than that! My husband does the all-you-can-eat premium sushi for $40. That's such a great deal!! You get 10 items each time and 3 rounds total. All in all, you could eat 30 items if you wanted. That's a ton of sushi! lol This time, I wanted to try something different. I got the salmon teriyaki last time, and this time I went for the vegetable udon. The vegetable udon was HUGE! They brought this giant bowl of soup that was scorching hot!!! Seriously, I had to wait a good 6 minutes before I could even eat it lol The fresh veggies were nice. Loved the udon noodles. It's a really big bowl of soup. Very filling! I ordered the avocado and cucumber rolls. Fresh and delicious! And tried the cheese corn. That was alright. The shrimp tempura is one of my favorites here. The shrimp are so fresh, and I love the crunchy tempura batter. Great! Service was very good. They are fast and friendly. Vert attentive.

AYCE sushi sometimes can be a hit or a miss but ultimately this place was good. It was a bit on the pricier side of about 40 bucks per person and adding a drink on top of that made it a bit more pricey. Service was quick and nice but tuna quality felt a little rubbery and sometimes i feel wary with a bright red for a spicy tuna. Ultimately a good place with a lot of seating and good service.

I hadn't done all you can eat sushi in a very long time but had friends recommend checking this place out and I'm so glad we stopped by! April was our server and they were super attentive and provided overall amazing customer service. We never had to wait around for them to stop by and assist us with our drink orders. Went here with a party of three during the lunch hours. Prices are definitely reasonable for ayce sushi: $26.99 for lunch and $21.99 if you opt for the happy hour special! The service here is very attentive, which is a plus for me. The salmon and unagi nigiri here is some of the best that I've had recently, it's that fresh. The food comes out quick so that's another plus. If you're like me and like great service and reasonable prices, this is the place for you! read more

My friend and I went here the other day and it was a very pleasant experience. From the atmosphere to the staff to the food :) The host was very friendly and shared with us that the restaurant had just opened. The waitress was equally as friendly and attentive. My boyfriend had joined up later on and his food arrived super quick. Granted the place just opened, but everything was nice and clean. It was also very open, giving patrons ample space. By far one of the best AYCE Sushi places we've been to in Orange County so far. My wife and I were craving some sushi but our normal places were closed, so We decided to try hello sushi. When we got there we saw a sign on the door that said 50% off. At first we questioned it, especially when we walked in and saw that we were the only ones there. It wasn't till the end of our meal that we learned that they have only been open for about 3 months. Even so we decided to sit down because we were already there. Staff was really friendly, we got our first round in a timely manner. The food was fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The rice to fish ratio was just about spot on. Atmosphere: It's a modern take on a japanese sushi bar! There's no rotary, but there are booths around the sushi chefs which was super nice. Lighting is on the low side, but it isn't too dark. Sound level is average and the tables and plates were clean! Service: Our servers were all so nice! The korean dude with a heavy accent was funny and looked like he loved working at Hello Sushi. Service was prompt and kind. Food: OMG! The fish to rice ratio is SO GOOD here. It's comparable to Sake2Me, but not as fresh tasting. Some cuts of the nigri fell short of being fresh tasting, but the ratio...the ratio of the fish to rice. AMAZING. Hand rolls were packed with fish and flavor, the rolls were tight and made to order, and you already know how I feel about the nigri. There is also deal where you get $1.50 per pint of Sapporo beer if you order from the all you can eat menu. Perfect. I love this place and will definitely be back! read more

Friend and I wanted to go somewhere and intentionally eat until our organs hurt. Well, Hello Sushi was the right spot. We ate everything that lives in the ocean, including a few items from on land. I need to do that thing where you poke a hole in your neck to breathe better, I'll see if I can borrow the waitresses pen when I'm done signing. This was one of the first sit down restaurants that I ate at post Covid-19 restrictions. We waited about 45 min to get a table which was ok because I understand with them only allowing a certain amount of customers in at a time. I was happy to see they were checking the temperatures of people dining in. The sushi I would say is slightly above average. Good but nothing to knock your sox off. Service was friendly but a couple items had been forgotten to be brought and in 2 cases items were brought from the kitchen twice when we didn't order them. Another issue I encountered was it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get 2 rounds of sushi. That combined with our wait made for a dining experience was longer than I would have liked. All and all, I would give them another try if I was in the area but I wouldn't exactly seek them out. read more

This is really a good place. Not all you eat rice place. I was skeptical at First. They have variety of appetizers and so many rolls to choose from. My favorite is Kaung Fu Panda and my son likes Giant Salman. Our hostess Lia was very good and food came out fast. This was our first time here and she accompanied us and answered our questions about the menu and how the service works. Overall the place is really clean and nice. read more

Arriving at 8:55 p.m., a full hour before closing time at 10:00 p.m., we were promptly seated by our waiter. Immediately, we were informed that despite being an AYCE establishment, we could only order a la carte. The reason provided was puzzling: apparently, due to having only one chef on duty, ordering a la carte would ensure our meals arrived promptly without delay. This explanation seemed illogical to me since we would have ordered the same amount of food regardless of the serving method. Disheartened by this unexpected restriction and feeling unwelcome due to the rushed explanation, we made the decision to leave. It's disappointing that such a crucial detail like the change in service format was not disclosed anywhere until we sat down. Transparency about such operational changes is essential for managing customer expectations and ensuring a positive dining experience. Overall, our first impression of this place was marred by this lack of clarity and the unusual service policy we encountered. Yesterday , on Wednesday April 13, 2022. I went to hello sushi, Fullerton for dinner with my girlfriend. This is her first time trying sushi. This is the first time happens to me in the same night i got bad experience from hello sushi. 1. Dirty plate was served to me 2. I order ice water for my drink. As i finished half of my drink, i found a sponge left inside my cup. It was white sponge. So i requested for new cup and new drink. All i got just an apology from server. I have been to this restaurant for years. And this is the first time i experience. In this situation usually, the manager should come to table to apologize and offer something in the house or maybe at least a discount on the check. But i did not have the manager come to the table for apology. Nor compensation...for bad experience i got from the restaurant. Other than that .. everything else is good. As a sushi lover the food was OK. I've eaten better at smaller places, for less money. But thats besides the point. The point is I was in a party of 9 and our service was good until the food came out. But becuase they automatically charge you 18% gratuity fee it felt like they no longer needed to do a follow up to see how everything was for us. Once food was delivered we no longer saw anyone. We wanted to order more food and ask for refills but after about 45 minutes of waiting we just decided to pay and leave. We walked up to the front to ask for the check and the employees were just standing at the front talking. My first experience there was not well enough for me to return. As a former employee DO NOT EAT HERE. They fill old ginger buckets with ice, wait for the ice to melt and scoop them to serve water. Sometimes will fill a large clear container with water that gets cross contaminated when people wash their hands. Their random cups are usually mouth side down on a rusted counter top. Never fully dry. It's absolutely disgusting inside the kitchen. There's dried food everywhere and I don't think they've ever once cleaned any corner of their establishment. This "mom and pop" style aesthetic they have is super unclean for a place to serve raw fish. People buy into it cause it's convenient but truly I'm surprised more people haven't gotten sick from this place. read more

OMG ! my new favorite spot to go to ! Even though there was a lot of yelling at one point from the chefs our server Dulce was sweet and made sure we were taken care of and that we felt comfortable. She checked on us constantly and got us everything we ordered. The food was really good . Hello sushi you need to talk to your chefs ( what we saw today when 1 yelled at a customer leaving and the other yell at your staff saying the servers didn't know the meaning of last call was absurd! ) only reason we are giving your restaurant a 5 star was because of your servers who work hard to take care of us. Food was good. The menu was a tad bit confusing, but nonetheless, it was good. Especially for its price. We can't say the same for their service though... Our server came to take our check and asked if we could leave a yelp review, which we told her we would do. She didn't come back with our card or receipt until we left one, and yes she asked to check our phone. She held onto our card for 15 minutes until she seen we had left one. It was a bit odd, felt like we were being held hostage until we left a review. Very weird. My sister and I will not be back anytime soon. This place is definitely a place to TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK . But who knows, you might have better luck than us! read more

I always have a wonderful experience at Hello Sushi. Earlier, I called to see if they could accommodate a large group of about 18 for 1am. Kim spoke with her coworker and they were able to accommodate. Kim took our order ahead of time so the staff could prepare for us. When our group got to Hello Sushi, we had Militon as our server. AMAZING SERVICE!!!! He was very patience with us. He was quick with everything. Very professional and friendly. He continued to check in with our group periodically. If you ever get the chance to come here, the food is delicious and Militon's service was the best I have ever experienced. He made our hangout a very special one. Thank you!!! read more
