One of the best fried chickens in the area. They are better than Dave's and Al's. Holdaak brings the heat and the prices are not bad. The chicken is always tasty and also their smash burgers are good! We've always had good service here. I'm only negative is that the sauce is really good but they charge a lot for the sauces. I stumbled upon Holdaak in Corona while picking up prints from FedEx in the plaza, and I'm so glad I did! The Korean fried chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious--crispy, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. The fries are huge and perfectly paired with the sandwich. Everything was so tasty, and it ended up being such a great surprise find. Definitely a 5-star spot if you're in the area!

Came here again for lunch and to take advantage of the discount from showing them my Yelp review. I got the #1 combo with the Seoul Spicy and it was only about $11 after the discount. The combo came with a sandwich, fries, and a drink. The gentleman helping me was super nice and got my order ready quickly. Always get the fries seasoned. They taste amazing. The spice isn't too high on the heat and is actually slightly sweet. The Seoul Spicy was always very delicious. The chicken piece inside was huge and had a lot of radish in it as well. The contrasting textured and flavors were very enjoyable.

We tried this place because we wanted chicken and were semi hungry, too tired to drive with kids so we decided to order via door dash for a late night snack. The order was easy online. The door dash driver waited a bit for it but overall, it was quick to receive the food after ordering. We got the Holdaak original chicken sandwich and popcorn chicken. The sandwich comes with a daikon slaw which added a nice flavor profile to the sandwich of something tangy mixed with pickled onions. Definitely a nice refreshing taste with each bite. The ketchup also had great flavors to it as well, with a hint of spice, which gave it a nice subtle kick. Pairs perfectly with the crispy chicken. The popcorn chicken wasn't as seasoned as I would like it but had a nice crispy texture to it and was fresh. Kids approved and like the crispiness of it. Overall a good late night meal and everything arrived still hot & crispy, which was nice. We'll definitely come through to check out the restaurant in person & try their other items. So far a good first try.

Last night me and Amy wife were really craving a buffalo chicken sandwich... so I saw Holdaak the other day and we almost went to Canes.... But ... me and my Wife both have decided that we don't need to go to Canes anymore lol It's a small little spot with a good amount of seating and fun pun filled quotes and lighting. The chairs are really comfortable lol The service was amazing, I honestly have to give props to Cat and Karim.. I made sure to get their names because it was only them two on staff and they were backed up and getting it all done in a timely manner. Karim made sure to let those who came up know what they were out of so they were not disappointed with ordering it then not being able to get it. Th food came out crispy and delicious and where you would typically have accidents with just two on staff on a busy night these two held their own and took care of everyone the best they could. Seriously cheers to the both of you we see you and see how hard your working. The food... the chicken was crispy, the chicken was juicy, the sauces were perfect , fries on point, and honestly WE CANT WAIT TO GO BACK . I love wings and I'm a loyalists but o a place called fire wings but ... I feel like Holdaak will challenge them pretty good. You fulfilled my every craving we had that night . I'll sum this up the best way possible... if you want something that hits better flavor profiles, better sauces, and delicious chicken you no longer need to go to raising cains... Holdaak is the place to go and they will deliver in the best ways. We will Be back !!! I want some wings

Amazing fried chicken -- super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with great flavor. What really stood out was the service: the cashier was very helpful and took the time to explain and confirm their halal authentication, which I really appreciated. It's always a plus to feel confident about what you're eating. Overall, great food, friendly service, and definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Stopped by for lunch before heading to school and tried their smash fries for the first time--they were so yummy! The fries and patties were perfectly cooked. I loved the sauce, cheese, and the nice touch of pickles . The place is clean, and the staff is always kind whenever I come in.

Very clean restaurant. Chicken has good color, crunch and flaking. It's very salty though so make sure you get a starch or some coleslaw. Their Comeback sauce is very good and like a Sriracha mayo.

I was willing to give them another try since my first order with them some months ago lacked the daikon which makes a lot of difference. This time I ordered 10 wings and chicken sandwich. The sandwich is mediocre but when you put the daikon, then it's really tasty. I also ordered 10 pcs chicken wings. For me the soy caramel is too salty than what I'm used to but when I bit into 2 wings it was all bloody. I couldn't eat the rest after smelling the bloody wings! Another lesson learned. Never from here. Wing stop is probably better.

This place legitimately has the best chicken tenders I have ever had! I have tried as many as I can! Raising Canes, Hot Chickz, TenHut, Baba's, etc! Just by taste alone, it keeps me coming back. The Smashburger is also a must and needs to be on the menu. I wish the Spicy and Extreme flavor was hotter too but I still love it! Not only is the staff very courteous, but the inside makes me want to stay and take pictures. This place needs to explode! read more

Holdaak is the fried chicken love I've been looking for my whole life. So much love into the juiciness of their chicken sandwiches and the perfect crunch and sauciness that makes you feel all the food love, especially if you're having a blah day, get something here and you will feel much better. I've visited here over a handful of times, so I'm a returning customer. I usually get the one sandwich, one fry, and a drink combo (about $13 and some change after tax), and it always have been great. The best sandwich is the Seoul Spicy - with that beautifully-crafted sauce, that meshes with that slaw...O.M.G.! The runner-up I would say, would be their Original Chicken Sandwich - it's good for days you want something simple or with a cleaner flavor. The staff here are all pretty chill here. My favorite is a young man with the curly hair and glasses. He's helped me during two visits, explaining the best sandwich and offerings. I have a lot to thank him for telling me about the Tuesday special, which is a discount on two sandwiches (I think it's like a $3 discount FYI). If you dine-in, drinks are refillable. Just ask the staff to help you as only they can dispense drinks for you. So yeah, this place is worth the try! You may be wanting to come back and that's a good thing! read more

I really liked the flavor profile of the spicy Holdaak sandwich. The sauce for me was just okay. I really liked it with the sandwich but I felt it didn't complement it too well. I ordered the combo which came with the sandwich, fries, and a drink. I lovvve how's crunchy and satisfying the fries were. They were the perfect crunch where the inside is soft but the outside is mostly crunchy. If I were in the area I'd come by again and try something else but otherwise, I wouldn't consider it. Definitely worth a try though. read more

Amazing service! Placed a big order for the company I work for. They went above and beyond. I went alone to pick up 23 combos and they labeled everything. Restaurant charged me 9.5% sales tax when it's supposed to be 8.75% in this city and county. Also, they added a tip without asking nor showing breakdown of cost when paying. This is a dirty business practice and illegal. Probably should be reported to better business bureau. read more

Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we were good and even showed us how to make rice porridge using the hot barley tea and the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, which ended up being really good too. The inside of the restaurant is very clean, well-lit, and has lots of natural color (tans, brown). It appears to have been recently remodeled. There is plenty of seating and open space. This is what makes the meal for me. Kimchi was not fermented enough and was a pale orange color, fishcake was not offered without you asking, there were no cucumbers, scallion pancake,seasoned bean sprouts, potatoes, or noodles. The flounder offered was very tasty but again, offered at the end of the meal when we were wrapping up. I'm used to this being offered at the beginning or during meal. I think I would only go back if they ramped up their banchan but I did ask, and they said they won't really rotate their banchan :( staff was very attentive but the food will make or break it for me. Hoping I can retry in the future once they're more established.

They also serve complimentary Korean side dishes, and the staff kept refilling them throughout our meal. The service was friendly once we were seated, and everyone was attentive during dinner. There were a couple of things worth mentioning. When we first arrived, no one greeted us, so we stood at the entrance for a few minutes unsure whether to wait or seat ourselves. The seating is also a bit tight, especially during busy hours. One helpful tip for future diners: go early. Yelp still shows they're open until midnight, but when we visited, they actually closed at 10:30 PM, with last call around 10:00 PM. We arrived a little after 9 PM and only had about 30 minutes before last call, so next time I'd definitely plan to get there earlier. We spent about $42 per adult, and kids are charged based on their height. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was good, and I'd happily come back. Just arrive a little earlier so you can enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.

Today a woman came into this restaurant and was immediately being rude and condescending to the female worker here. She ordered like normal then asked for extra crispy egg rolls. The worker said ok and told the kitchen to make the customers egg rolls extra crispy. The woman ordering kept telling her make sure they are extra crispy and the worker kept saying ok, then the woman ordering flipped out and said "why are you being rude" ? as I'm sitting her eating I am like what? How is she being rude? Then the customer went off and starting arguing with the worker about how she's being rude and won't full fill her order demands. The worker responded, by saying next time she will not help her again because of what transpired , All of a sudden the customer started saying .. "well your going to be denying an autistic child food?" SMH in my mind I was just dying this is just crazy, this woman just went there lol .. that lady is probably making a review right now and she's going to blow things out of proportion. Saying she's a victim . Don't listen to her, I saw the whole thing. She's nuts! Anyway , I had a great experience here , the food was fresh ! I had wonton soup and combo c . Everything great! And the worker was really nice to me. She gave me water everytime I asked . My order was accurately made and she even made sure my plate was overflowing with my food selections. It's made fresh, so it usually takes about 10-15 minutes, but it's absolutely worth the wait every single time. The flavor is rich, perfectly balanced, and consistently delicious. Everything else I've tried has been good too, but the hot & sour soup alone keeps me coming back.
