Holdaak is new in Corona and on DoorDash, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Spicy Elote. The restaurant gave me an extra chicken strip, which was a nice gesture. Overall everything was very good. The chicken was juicy, the crinkle fries were tasty, the comeback sauce had a good mix of creaminess, spice, and Eastern flavor, and the slaw and bread on the sandwich were tasty and soft, respectively. The Spicy Elote was the dark horse that I wasn't expecting. When mixed up a bit, the flavor profile and texture balance were truly unique and delectable. The downfall of the whole meal however, was the spice on the chicken. Despite its bright and vibrant red color, the taste and spiciness were rather mild and bland. That side, I would recommend Holdaak but next time may try the standard chicken sandwich. read more

My first time here and I spoke to a woman on the phone who took my order and she was very nice and helped me with what is was I wanted to order. When I got to true store I was able to meet her and she must be like this with everyone and she greeted me and I felt like I was at a friends house. It was great her name was heather I believe and she was amazing! And to get to the food!! Just as amazing as the service. This place had checked off damn near all of the boxes, customer service was persistent, food came out quickly, good sized portions, and delicious food. Out of the last 15 places I've been to, this one takes the cake. I'm looking forward to expanding their locations. I'm also looking forward to exploring the menu further. Had good seasoning and fried well, fries was good. I skipped their daikon slaw as I don't like raddish, but my wife loved it. I went in really excited. I was looking for a good place to eat and with the bonus that it was halal, I wanted to be happy. And the food was fine. But the employee was so horrible and awful, I never want to step foot in there again. The woman working there was a huge problem. I ordered at the kiosk after she rudely refused to take my order at the counter, I had some questions about the menu that still remain unanswered. My order went through fine. I got a copy of the receipt sent to my phone (thank god) and I went to wait for my order. After everyone else in my group had received their food (they each had issues as well, but those are not my stories to tell lol), I went to ask about the status of my order, I provided my order number and showed her my receipt. She accused me of lying about ordering, saying I didn't order. When I said I did. She accused me of reaching behind the machine and stealing the sticker. I couldn't even reach or see back there. How could I have stolen it? And why would I do that? Seems counterproductive to the goal of getting the food I paid for. After I showed her my receipt, she looked at me like I was still lying to her. And then took my phone and examined it like she was trying to find something wrong with it. She checked the time stamp multiple times, I even showed her my credit card app with the charge. Only then did the normal person in the back, a gentleman, say he would make it and it was no problem. Like seriously? Did this woman think I was trying to steal a sandwich via fake receipt. We were a group of six people. So we spent like $100 dollars between us. Why would we be stealing one $15 sandwich combo. And I even left a tip (kiosk prompt). Totally regret that. The seoul spicy sauce is wet, tangy, and slightly spicy which makes it a great choice for the sandwich. The caramel soy flavor was also very good, slightly on the sweet side compared to other sweet soy/garlic soy sauces. We were both pleasantly surprised at the size/amount of chicken and fluffiness of the fries. For around $12, the combo definitely seems worth the price which is rare these days.
