Donuts were delicious, but for the size of the donut you get at that price point it seems a little steep. Worth trying though.

The doughnuts are really good. The customer service was great and they have a good variety of doughnuts to choose from.

In my recent visit I wanted to try their product. As others have pointed out, they only accept cashless payments here. Unfortunately, when I was going into the store, my Apple Pay was malfunctioning and all I had on me was cash at the time. Also, I found it very interesting. I never leave reviews, but after seeing a few sad reviews- I felt inclined to leave one. First off, a great addition to second street! I am a baker myself, and specialize in vegan baking! So, I'm well aware just how tedious it is to make vegan donuts! And these are perfect! They're made fresh on the spot, and you're able to watch the employees make them! So cute! They're very fluffy- and moist :-) I tried almost every flavor now, and they're all delicious. I love the little donut holes for my son!! I hope we have this place for a long while! And also! The employees are all so sweet!! Tiffany was especially helpful the first time I went, and was so enthusiastic to share about their products. Came in here on a Saturday evening as we noticed this a new spot on 2nd street. They were really popping for their first day! A bunch of people working the front, preparing the orders. It's a fairly small spot but they do have their own bathrooms and outside little seating. I ordered just one donut to try out, which as the original sin donut. I kept trying to ask the cashier what the "holey" is and it took me 3 attempts to try my best and understand her, it was just too noisy in the kitchen (atleast 3-4 people directly next to her) plus she was very soft spoken so that was not a great combination. The donut was $4. To my surprise it was very small. I was not expecting it to be that small of a donut. It did taste good considering it was fresh and i believe every donut does taste better when it's fresh and hot. The flavor of the original sin was good. They should consider either sizing up on the donut a little or pricing down to justify the size of that donut. read more

Good and nice service but the donut I got was not good. I got the original chocolate glaze donut. Small for the price you pay and there's a weird taste and it left me with a nasty aftertaste. oh man this has got to be my new favorite donut place!!! if only i lived closer but i guess its a good thing i dont because i would gain a bunch of weight and lose a lot of money lol. ive been wanting to try this place for a while back when they only had an la location but just never got the chance to due being from oc. but they finally opened one in long beach and i was in the area so i had to stop by!!! this place is unique because their donuts are made with taro root, they're made FRESH to order (seriously, the girl making my donut was burning her fingers trying to decorate them), and they're fried in coconut oil!! they also have pretty unique flavors (the icing they put on the donuts -- all the donuts are the same base). and it's also neat that, on top of the usual flavors, they change their specialty flavors every week too! and they have this one specialty flavor under their breaking bread series where 20% of proceeds is donated towards a meaningful charity which is so great of the business. it's a cute little place on the main street of belmont shore and they have an open concept so you can sit on the patio and face the street. or you can sit at the big table inside. the workers were also super nice and answered any questions we had, letting us know they're here to help. they also have super cute merch that you're greeted with upon entering the place. we got the chocolate crunch (single origin chocolate, cacao nibs) & original sin (hawaiian vanilla bean, salted maple, glazed). we waited maybe 5 minutes for the donuts and you could even watch them make them at the counter after coming out of the giant fryer they have behind them. they asked if we wanted them in single boxes, a box together, or just on a napkin and we opted for the single boxes which were sooo cute. they seriously have mastered their aesthetic. okay so upon first sight, they're small donuts lol. especially for $4...but it also makes sense since they're such specialty donuts made with such high quality ingredients (nothing artificial) and they are also sustainable (compostable utensils and boxes). their donut holes are also a bit on the expensive side being sold for $7 for 5 or $1.50 to add to a donut...so i didnt opt for the donut holes lol. but let me tell you, that $4 per donut is SO worth it. the donuts had the most phenomenal texture, with the outside being so crunchy and the inside being so soft and pillowy AND it was still so warm. both of the flavors we got were amazing. im a big chocolate glazed donut enthusiast (but it has to be high quality chocolate glaze that actually tastes like chocolate) and this one did not disappoint. my boyfriend also loved his original sin donut; he is a sucker for original glazed and anything sweet & salty (the salted maple) so this donut was made for him. i would 1000% come back if i was ever near a shop. i had it last friday and ive honestly been craving it since then lol. i do wish they had more of a deal on the boxes (they sell them at $4 for 1, $16 for 4, and $32 for 9) but i get it, they use expensive & high quality ingredients (and you feel just a tad bit less bad about eating them) so i would be willing to pay the costs for it any day. my new favorite donut and maybe even dessert right now!!! read more

Freaking delicious. I was next door at Philz getting coffee and decided to try these donuts. Got a four pack with Chocolate, Original Sin, Reincarnated, and Hot Single. They're SO fresh. The box made it home untouched (thanks to my half-decent willpower) so that my husband could split them with me. We inhaled them in less than 5 minutes so apologies for the lack of pictures. They're a bit crispy on the first bite, soft and moist on the inside, and have a nicely balanced flavor that isn't overly sweet! Service was lovely and they were very friendly and helpful. Randomly came here after spending some time at the dog beach with our two dogs and this place did not disappoint! We got the Original Sin and Hot Single. The donuts on their own were a little dense and the glazes weren't that great, in my opinion. I immediately gave my 14 year old grandson, 11 year old granddaughter and daughter them to try as well. All 3 did not like them. No one wanted a second bite. My grandson said "It tastes like buttered movie popcorn!" And after saying that, that's all I could taste. Amazing! Went on opening day and tried three flavors, all out of this world. Came back today and was disappointed to find they change out the flavors weekly. I was planning on getting my favorite from opening day which was the strawberry swirl of some sort, but they didn't have it. I chose the girly swirly and was told I would probably love it even more. They were right! Yes, the donuts are pricier than a typical donut, and smaller, but these are not your typical donut. If you want a larger $2 donut there are probably a half dozen donut shops within a two mile radius from where you are.
