My gf and I have been there a few times and we absolutely love the place! The staff is so nice and welcoming, the food is always so tasty and delicious and they give you such a generous portion, and the cherry on top is the price. $25 for the both of us and we always have leftovers to spare! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Went there today and there was a posting on the window stating there was a special Mon-Wed. The lady at the counter advised the special is no longer valid. So I said why don't you put the posting down. She started yelling at me and told me no longer exist. I have been coming here for over 20 years. They just lost their customers over 2 little sodas! Food: - Fried rice: This is a typical fried rice dish, with peas and carrots and the like, and although it is a bit dry, it is still tasty. - Chow mein: The noodles are starchy and a little oily, but it satisfies any carb cravings. - Broccoli beef: This is usually pretty good and flavored very well. - BBQ pork: The pork is usually a hit or miss, sometimes it tastes juicy and other times it is dry. - Orange chicken: The chicken is kind of soggy, though the orange flavor is pronounced. - Salt and pepper fried fish: Not much fish, and is mainly dough, and is a hit or miss. - Fried pork chop: It was good and nice and crunchy! - Teriyaki chicken: A little bit salty, but the chicken was cooked well. The location is easy to get to since it is next to the Taco Bell and it has plenty of parking around dinner time. They are also located next to an adult movie store just FYI. When I ordered, the staff was very kind and generous with portion sizes. I ordered orange chicken with fried rice and chow mein. The orange chicken was good and crispy. The chow mein was a thick noodle that I found quite tasty! The fried rice was flavorless, but I guess I was quite hungry, because I didn't mind. I easily had enough for 2 meals with the 1 item combo. My family and I usually frequent this place because the food has never disappointed. With the restrictions, due to covid, the serve is great. They are super friendly but...something went wrong last night. The BBQ did not taste right, the beef and broccoli tasted like the beef had been out and uncooked for too long. The broccoli was bitter. The chow mein was indescribable. A couple of us ended up with food poisoning and threw away full plates..three of the five we purchased went to the trash. Okay, I've been searching and searching for somewhere near my work to help with my fast food Asian cravings without feeling completely ripped off. I see a lot of people giving bad reviews over the Quality and taste of the food. And why I admit, this place doesn't have as good (taste-wise) as some of the other Hong Kong express/ Pandas/ etc...they make up for in Quantity and Quantity! So that being said, come here if you're hungry and not picky...You won't be disappointed if that's what your goal for lunch/dinner is (well lunch AND dinner, as I had it for about 2 1/2 meals).
