Love love their viet crack and ube latte!! So strong and tasty, just the right amount of sweetness to balance the richness of the Vietnamese coffee. The service is great, and I never without grabbing their toast or a pastry. The owner makes everything from scratch in house, we love their English muffins - the works is my favorite. Every time we're in the area, I try to stop by. Would recommend!!
This quiet little coffee shop in Newport has a small parking lot at the end of the block. They have three tables inside and several out along the sidewalk. There is a serene vibe about this place. I ordered a hot Salty Maple Latte and chose a cinnamon roll from the pastry case. It was recommended that I have the cinnamon roll warmed up and I agreed wholeheartedly. My order was ready in a couple minutes and I sat inside to relax and listen to the Brazillian jazz playing over the sound system as I enjoyed my coffee and pastry. The cinnamon roll was delicious. Although a bit light on the cinnamon it made up for it with a frosting to die for. My first sip of of the Salty Maple Latte made me panic as it tasted extremely salty, like a straight shot right out of one of those Morton salt containers with the girl holding the umbrella. I quickly realized the saltiness was just in the foam and beneath it was a slightly sweet latte made with a superb quality espresso. I wasn't brave enough to mix the foam in for fear of making it too salty, so skillfully sipped a bit of foam with each sip of latte. That was my trick to make it wonderful. Hey, whatever works!
Being human is given, but keeping our humanity coffee is a choice. Let's begin this adventure. Humanity Coffee is a charming little coffee shop that serve organic coffee and tea in Newport Beach. They offer specialty drinks with house-made syrup, Viet Crack, breakfast and sandwiches. Interior layout was modest with few art wall decor and a good color scheme design. It's my first time here and also a prime location to the beach. I had an Avo Toasts and a Cold Brew. Both were good for a light breakfast. Service staff was cordial and competent. Prices were fair for the area. Atmosphere was relaxing. Rear parking lot is free albeit limited; although there are car spots adjacent to it but you have to pay $1 for 15 minutes. Overall, this is a nice coffee shop with good vibe. I recommend it.
I got to try this on a nice gloomy Saturday. The Viet Crack smelled like Vietnamese coffee, but the taste did not, so the incongruity was a bit jarring. Iced Americano was all right. The mochi treat was really good, and reminded me of banh bo. The service was great and attentive. Parking lot is limited to a small adjacent lot, but easy.
I have heard good things about Humanity Coffee so we decided to give it a try! I got the ube latte and ube mochi. My husband got the chai tea and egg sandwich. Iced ube latte - 3/5. It was good, just a bit watery. I couldn't really taste the ube and the coffee was not strong. Ube mochi - 5/5. Omg I could eat a whole pan of this! Sooooo good and gluten free :) Chai - 3/5. The chai wasn't too sweet, which was nice. It just didn't have tons of flavor and felt watered down. Egg sandwich - 5/5. This sandwich was sooooo good! Best thing we had! Overall, super cute vibe inside, very nice baristas, service was good, but the drinks needed more flavor for our liking :)
I tried this place for the first time today and really enjoyed their Vietnamese coffee, which they hilariously named "Viet-Crack." It was delicious--not overly sweet or overpowering. I love Vietnamese coffee, but sometimes it gives me too much of a jolt or upsets my stomach. Not with this one, though. It had just the right amount of caffeine. I also loved the fact that they served a cold drink in a paper cup instead of plastic which is more environmentally friendly. Next time, I want to try their ube latte or chia pudding. The interior is small and cozy, with plenty of natural light. One small suggestion would be to replace the large plastic plant with a real potted plant--I think a real one would complement the decor better. I also like that they have a parking lot next to the building, which is a nice perk for Newport.

I'm on the Newport Peninsula all the time, and one thing anyone who knows the area understands is that parking can be tough. Residential, commercial, all of it. That's one of the first things I appreciate about Humanity Coffee. There's a large parking lot right next door, which makes it incredibly easy to park, pop in, and grab a great coffee without the usual stress. Now for the coffee. It's excellent. I always order an Americano, and their coffee is consistently delicious. The beans are roasted perfectly. I'm not sure if they roast in house, but whatever they're doing, it works. And this is a small detail that matters to me, not every coffee shop offers heavy cream. Many stop at half and half. Humanity has heavy cream, which is exactly what I drink with my Americano, so they absolutely have the goods for me. The space itself is really well done. Trendy, clean, thoughtfully designed, and welcoming. I especially love that they have their mission statement and core values posted on the wall. As a business owner myself, I appreciate that level of transparency. It's important for people to know who you are, where you come from, and what you stand for, and they do a great job setting that tone. Price wise, this is another win. You're getting better coffee than the big chains, yet it's more affordable. Anyone who runs a business knows how hard it is to offer a superior product while managing overhead, and they've clearly figured that out. The staff is always friendly, and it shows that the ownership is intentional and truly involved. You can feel that they care about their customers and about the community. That matters. I love supporting local small businesses, and Humanity Coffee is an easy one to support. If you've never been, you've got to check it out. If you're nearby, make it your regular coffee spot. It's cool, it's easy, and the coffee is legit.
What a sweet little spot off of Newport Blvd! Located in the same strip as F45, you'll find Humanity Coffee. We found parking at the adjacent lot and ordered a Brekky English Muff, ECS (egg, cheese, sausage on an English muffin). They have some mochi bars and other pastries in the case as well. I liked the butter mochi. Service was quick and our order was called out shortly afterward. I tried to use the restroom but it's code locked so you'll have to ask one of the staff for the code. The space is small and cozy. The modern aesthetic is soothing and very Zen. There are a few tables inside and outside of the cafe. You could essentially enjoy a productive morning here along with a strong cup of coffee. Cheers!
Matcha 2/5 - I was so disappointed with this drink. I should have know not to order matcha at a coffee place that doesn't specialize in matcha. It tasted watered down even though it was whole milk. The matcha quality was not good. I got a large so it was more than $6. Worker was nice and offered to adjust the drink if needed but with adding more sugar it still didn't help the drink taste better. We came on a Friday afternoon and there was plenty of parking in the lot and only one other person in the store. Don't know if I'll come back here though. read more

Humanity Coffee is a cute coffee shop that just opened up on Newport Blvd! It's cute inside but it's more of a grab and go as there are only two tables. Service is friendly. We ordered iced chai and viet crack. The iced chai was bland and just ok. I'd like to try the matcha next time. My husband liked his Vietnamese coffee. I ordered the iced coffee with sea salt foam and I ordered an iced vanilla oat latte to drop off for my friend and also the butter mochi. My friend's exact words were "what is this pastry and what crack did they put in it?" Haha. Will definitely be returning! There were two customers who were seated who were talking extremely loud about their work projects. It's moments like this when I wish people understood the concept of acceptable public noise level. Was pleasantly surprised by humanity coffee's deliciousness. Straight up, I ordered an espresso macchiato (or cortado to some) with oat milk. And then afterwards, went to blue bottle and had a gibraltar. Humanity's espresso tasted much better to me. Friendly service as well. Highly recommended if you like 3rd wave quality espresso drinks. We have been wanting to check this place out for awhile now. We pass by it often and I never remember.. so we set up a friend date to go there and made it happen! The coffee was pretty good. Nothing to write home about but still, good nonetheless. The ambiance is very cute! Like a contemporary boho modern look.. they did a nice job with the quaint space they have.. The service was fine. The girl behind the counter was nice. We sat outside on a scorcher of a day. There's indoor and outdoor seating that faces the street. There isn't a ton of room on the sidewalk. Heads up if you have kids or a pet. The food was the highlight to me honestly. I had an egg/ arugula/ cheese sandwich and that was reaaally good. My husband got the egg and sausage sandwich and he said it was really good as well. The banana bread was the T I T S though. Definitely get that. Overall, great job Humanity. read more

I got there right when it opened and there was some parking spaces, but since I got there at 7 there was nobody there. Parking probably could be an issue later in the day. I've been wanting to try this coffee shop ever since I saw an influencer post about it on Instagram. It's decorated so cute and there's room inside to enjoy your breakfast or better yet, you can pick up your order to-go and walk across the street to the beach which is what I did! The service is exceptional. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and had great recommendations for me. I really enjoyed chatting with her about her new business which she's so proud of and has put so much effort into. My brekkie muffin was great and my lavender latte was delicious. Only downside is for 3 coffees and avocado toast it was $40 which i think is a complete rip off but i guess that's newport for ya. Such a cute coffee shop! There's a small parking lot on the side and luckily I was able to find a spot. It's a small shop, but there are a few tables inside. I tried the Pandan Latte ($6.95 and extra $0.50 for a large). This is one of their specialty coffees for May. The coffee was good, but very subtle pandan flavor. My sister got the matcha latte ($6.25), which is sweetened with their simple syrup. Unfortunately, did not like the matcha. I could barely taste the matcha and it was a very light color. The worker was nice though and asked us to let him know if we wanted any adjustments. The drinks are also on the pricier side. Overall, I thought everything was okay. If I come back, I'll probably try their regular latte. read more

Amazing new coffee shop here in a prime area of Newport Beach. I stopped by with some friends on the way to the beach and was so impressed with the coffee and the selection they have. First off it's so pretty in here! The whole place is a VIBE. The coffee is locally sourced, organic and delicious. The staff is friendly and had great recommendations. Also the food is *actually* good-- so many times the food at coffee shops is just an afterthought but everything was super good! I really liked the pastry selection too. This is the cutest coffee shop, so aesthetic and woman owned! So clean and well thought out. On top of it the owner, Jen is awesome. Always makes us feel so welcomed. The Ube latte and Viet Coffee are our top picks but the baked items catch us every time. She definitely knows how to bake! Best Coffee I've ever tried!!! The vanilla Cold foam is amazing and tastes like vanilla ice cream. We got the viet crack and the cream kissed americano, I definitely recommend those, I will be coming back more often. I absolutely love coming here whenever I'm in Newport! The coffee, food, and snacks are all super yummy, and the vibes are just generally amazing. The baristas are also super friendly and know what they're doing, especially Lauren. My recommendations are always any of the mochis if they're in stock, they're super tasty, especially warmed up! Wow! I am so impressed with this coffee shop. So happy that this is a new addition to Newport. It's such a breath of fresh air especially being close by the beach! The vibe aesthetic is very modern and minimalist style. The service is friendly, impeccable and owner Jen is amazing! She really cares about humanity and your experience with coffee/tea making a difference one coffee/ tea cup at a time. Love that everything is organic so the ingredients are natural and healthy! If you are looking for high quality espresso and authentic coffee beans then you are definitely at the right place for top notch espresso and coffee! There are also food options that are delish! Perfect combo to grab a coffee/tea and or pastry/ sandwich and enjoy nice walk to the beach! Cant wait to come back and would highly recommend checking out this coffee shop!
