We showed up when it said our wait time was 0 minutes and asked the host how much longer and she informed us that app is incorrect and it would be an additional 45 min. Happened upon Humble Bistro late Saturday afternoon after coming back from the Suns first scrimmage practice before their season starts. Surprised to see how small it is in the inside compared to how the outside building looks. Not the amount of seating I would have expected, but a quaint little spot with an old timey classic charm, a dim dinning room & a robust Italian ambiance. Our server arrived just right after we were seated and had water in hand and offered us additional drinks. I stuck with that, while my husband ordered a beer. They do have a nice open bar concept with some outdoor seating as well. After looking over the menu the server shared that everything is made fresh in house and it's a creative chef inspired list of unique recipes. My husband & I decided to order a few things that stood out to share. We went with the wings to start, followed by the caesar salad, the truffle pasta & gentleman's pie. EVERYTHING was amazing! Wings-we had with their spicy Korean which is served on the side. The other dipping sauce was like a cilantro ranch which paired well with the wings. The wings themselves had a nice flavor too! Caesar is a stand out here & a must have. The jalapeño dressing & breadcrumbs were a surprising change from the original version and for a unique touch the added crunch of fried brussels on top was the bomb! I'd have to say our favorite caesar salad out thus far! Still talking about it! The pasta was absolutely delicious & highly recommend! The braised meatballs were in a rich red sauce and were so moist, tender & tasty. The truffle pasta was in a rich light white cream & had a dollop of whipped ricotta on top! This was a standout dish. The gentleman's pie was good. The dough is made in house and is light airy and crispy with blends of amazing flavors on top. Our waiter was extremely professional and pleasant. In asking him more questions about this spot we learned that the owner is originally from Canada. He's also the owner of ALL the Valley's Humble Pie's and the other Humble Bistro in Phoenix as well. He recently also opened a new restaurant called Humble Oysters & Bubbles in Scottsdale. We can't wait to check this place out as it has gotten rave reviews with being a hot new spot in the most "Western Town" in AZ. Highly suggest to come here on off hours as peak would find it extremely difficult to get seated right away and would imagine long wait times. Do not take reservations. They have a social hour daily till 5 PM which they offer about 7 items at a lesser price including that incredible pasta dish! read more

Toppings: half an artichoke heart just thrown on top of anything is patently unacceptable. You need to remove the choke, separate the petals and do your job. Also, what looked to be the butt end of a tree oyster mushroom on this pie was very much not tasty. I love mushrooms but these seemed to be recooked many times. Dough's good guys. What a great experience. Came in on a Tuesday night for pizza and was great experience. Cole was our server and gave us great suggestions. Very intimate lighting, perfect for a date night or girls night. We tried the short rib grilled cheese which was a burst of flavors. I love Humble Bistro!! I have placed a to-go order as well as delivery, but have yet to dine-in. The space has a great vibe and I would love to dine-in one day. I fell in love with Humble Bistro's Not So Humble Caesar salad and Not So Humble fries at first bite, I ordered the two a second time. They're just done so well! The Caesar salad is a Romaine chop with garlic breadcrumbs dressed in jalapeño caesar, topped with crispy Brussels sprout leaves, parmesan and pecorino cheese and a 7-minute egg. I always add shrimp for extra protein. I have never had a Caesar salad like this before. It's definitely my favorite Caesar salad, especially because it comes with crispy Brussels sprouts -- added nutrition, which is nice. The fries come in a gremolata of parmesan, garlic, lemon zest, parsley, chili flakes and a dip trio side: spicy aioli, jalapeño ranch, fancy sauce. Fries are cooked and seasoned to perfection and the dips complement them very well. I look forward to dining in next time! read more

Really tasty and well made cocktails, fairly priced too. For our meal, the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, Short Rib Pappardelle, and the Smorgasbord. I would order each again. The chicken came with cheesey garlic fries that were extremely well seasoned. The short rib was excellent but had a disappointing portion size (because the meat was incredibly good but only lasted a few bites). Only 4 stars because the bartender used a weird toothpick that splintered into my girlfriend's mouth when she went to gently remove the cocktail cherry. That was dangerous. Our very first time tonight. From the door to the table, our experience was just lovely. We order wings, the Maximus pizza, their house wine and the incredible tiramisu. Then wings were crispy on the outside and so tender in the inside. Their sourdough crust is airy but crispy and perfectly salted. We continued to wait as I counted the eight people walking around. After15minutes of no eye contact from any of the young girls who were more concerned with chatting with each other, my husband had to get up and ask the bartender to send someone over! She went and got one of the many servers to come help us. We saw her twice more our entire meal. REALLY GREAT FOOD! We came based on seeing some Keto friendly items on the menu like brussel sprouts and tahini cauliflour. The facility is newish, clean, and well-appointed. All the staff was attentive and friendly. It is evident that they are well managed. We had the cauliflour appetizer, and it was a home run. It was cooked just right and had the perfect amount of heat. My wife's wings were tender and seasoned spot on. I love that they just do salt and pepper and let you dip in sauce as you please. The ranch was definitely house made and fresh. I had a burger without the bun. The patty was a bit small but executed perfectly with top-notch ingredients. Again, the sauce was house made and worth the calories. The Caesar was just fine, too. Our bartender gave us great service and made good cocktails. My only issues are that the music is too loud and they need more craft cocktails on the menu. The music genre is fine, but it's a restaurant, not a nightclub, so please turn it down a little so people can talk.. Otherwise, we think The Humble Bistro makes some fantastic food. Stopped by with 4 people, patio was completely empty and pretty much inside as well. They do not allow dogs on the patio even though online it says they are pet friendly. Our dog is a 15 lbs dachshund that makes no noise and is well trained. Seems a little odd to me to list pets welcome and have a patio and then discriminate against a small trained pet. Weird to turn away business as well when the place was dead. Will not be trying to eat at this place again as the front girls did not seem to have any sort of customer service either. read more
