Humdinger is good spot to sit down, grab a little grub and drink a beer or five. I really enjoyed their sun puncher and my wife enjoyed the lawn order. The food was good, but overpriced which is why it's getting four stars. We ordered the nachos with pork belly and the pretzel. The pretzel was small for the price and the nachos were tasty, but would not pay that price for them again. I just realized we've come to a point in our lives that when we are standing around in a group of friends and trying to decide where to eat we all decide on Humdingers every time! It's just a fantastic place that we know will be good every time and they have different drinks and food choices for everyone. Also extra love to the owner who is always there and seats us fast, even when we have 4 young kids hyper from a trick or treating event (she didn't look scared of our big group but welcoming :) they also have an amazing brunch if you are looking to avoid those weekend crowds! read more

First time here and won't be the last! We sat outside in the perfect AG weather today and our server happened to be the owner. She was helpful in giving us direction in what to get. I got the Carnitas salad which was so good and I will absolutely get that again down the road. My husband and son split a few things so we could try more options. They did the wings, pretzel (sooooooooo yummy), AG dog and the cheese curds. All were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Wasn't expecting to find this hidden gem in the village... Actually, my partner and I weren't planning to stop into AG for a Friday evening. We thought the action would be in SLO. We are IPA fans - West Coast, filtered in particular. So taste of the Jackson Galaxy featuring Galaxy, Nelson and Citra hops quickly became a one-pint order for him. And for her? a pint of the Fog Incinerator, a hazy IPA collar with Fresno-based Incinerati Brewing Co. Unlike other pineapple slushy hazies, this brew was a nice departure -- still juicy and big on citrus, but more orange essence. The Quad IPA, with Mosaic and Citra, was intense -- and yes, my husband dared to say that it was better than a Knee Deep quad he tried years ago. Great beers! Excellent service! I had the Browndo brown ale and the Fog Crusher american IPA hazy which was my favorite. The food is good too, but a bit pricey for what you get. Being vegan, I had the local mushroom tacos. At 2 for $11, I didn't think they were worth it. Tortillas are cheap and they weren't even gourmet mushrooms or organic, they shouldn't have been more than $3 each. Cons: Price of food, and the indoors was full of people obviously not wearing masks, luckily they have a big outdoor area on the sidewalk and no one was out there but me. read more

I just LOVE humdinger!! We've been getting take out from them semi regularly since they opened in March. They have THE best cheeseburger in town. We also love their animal fries. We've tried a bunch of other things (the Reuben, bahn mi, pretzel with beer cheese, wedge salad, fried chicken sandwich, lemon curd dessert jar), all of which were all tasty, but the burger is our favorite. Their beer is also amazing. We just load our online cart with a bunch of different ones to stock the fridge and are never disappointed. I also LOVE the watermelon mint kombucha they sell. This is a wonderful addition to The Village with delicious beverages on tap and beautiful flavorful foods. The mushroom tacos were to die for and I could eat them every day. They have a kick in the pants at the end so just know they're spicy. The birria tacos were so Jack cheesy and smooth and the left overs were just as tasty. For dessert I enjoyed the lemon curd in a jar that has the shortbread on top crouton style. Portion sizes were good and the price was not bad! I would mention more about the beers but I only got through the one Star Husker-coffee edition, which tasted almost like a great breakfast. Chill vibes and has loud live music sometimes. The staff is friendly, and the food is good but not exceptional. The burger was good but nothing special that I could distinguish from any other brewery. My husband liked the quesabirria grilled cheese, and he doesn't generally like cheese, so that was a pleasant surprise. The pretzel seemed odd and was just heated up, so I had to use a knife to cut it into pieces. The sauces paired with the pretzel were not anything special either. My last peeve is when burgers and sandwiches do not come with a side like fries, salad, or even fruit. Especially for the prices you are paying here, the main menu items should come with a side of fries at least. read more

Went this past weekend and was excited for a new brewery in south county. The branding and feel of the place is great. I really like the branding and logo is great. Best thing on the menu is a new and yummy take on french fries. The potato wedges were yum and in fact, we ordered a second basket. Two of the four us dining grabbed the Nashville Chicken Sandwich which was underwhelming. The chicken was smaller than it should have been and the Nashville sauce is more of a maple syrup. They missed the boat on that. Compressed Watermelon salad was good. Liked the peanut touch but don't get how the watermelon was vacuumed sealed to increase taste. Rock fish tacos were bland according to the two others I was with. Beer was pretty good. The fruit sour had an oak taste which is a new experience for us.
