It's one of the default lunch spots for us when we can't decide where else to go and everyone likes their food. The one negative I can point out is the parking situation. It does fill up and sometimes difficult to find a parking spot during busy times. We just have to plan to have our lunches a little earlier and carpool from our office. And yes, the glass the teas come in are humongous.

They opened and closed the door for us which was a nice touch because it was busy inside. We ordered the pork ramen, pork buns, and pork soup dumplings. On to the food! Pork Ramen: 3/5 They give you a hefty amount of noodles and pork. They use a thin noodle here which pairs well with the broth. I truly do believe this was around average for ramen as the flavor in the broth was not as strong or savory. The highlight of the entire entree was definitely the pork, which was tender and flavorful. I probably would not order this again. Pork bun: 5/5 The pork buns were soft and fluffy, almost too good looking to eat. There was the right amount of soup and meat inside that made for a wonderful bite full of flavor. Not dry at all. Would recommend ordering this if you visit. Pork Dumplings: 5/5 The star of the show, the dumplings. They were soft and just like the buns, they had the right amount of soup + meat which made for a delicious bite every time. My toddler even ate some and she's usually super picky about meat. Overall, I'd definitely recommend coming here for the other noodles, the dumplings, and buns. You can skip on the ramen. I would 100% come back here to dine in. Quick note that parking gets full pretty quick here.

My date had recommended this location, and it was worth the visit. I decided to order the Chengdu Noodles, with an added 3 level of heat. It came pretty spicy, but definitely burned really flavorbly. The spicy sauce were drenching the noodles with a delicious chunks of ground pork and bok choy. Also tried their chilled Mung Bean drink and that was really, really good. The booth seats were really comfortable. The staff was also friendly and smiled. They don't have physical menus here, so scan the sign thing that's on your table to place your order. Parking can be a challenge here. There's same level parking or under the parking structure. There's also other food places in the same plaza, if you want to visit as well.

Easy parking in the underground lot. - chengdu zajiang noodles (Level 5 Extra Spicy) $13: a little too spicy to completely enjoy the dish, so will go back to lvl 3 next time lol. Love the texture of the noodles and all the flavors complement each other. - red chili sauce wonton (Lvl 3) $13: not memorable - chengdu fries $5: perfectly crisp on the outside, soft center. nicely seasoned with the same spice that's on chinese bbq - spicy beef noodles (lvl 3) $15: tasty, tender beef, would get again - hot & sour glass noodles (lvl 5): so simple with the fried egg. I usually like clear noodles because of the chew, but i actually prefer the egg noodle more here - mung bean drink / cup $2: simple, refreshing, affordable - cucumber salad $6: basic, palette cleanser, but not much flavor. wouldn't get again Will wanna try the steamed egg next time.

My sisters-in-law who live in the area highly recommended this spot when we were deciding on a Sunday dinner the night before we flew out. Among the four of us, we ordered: - Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) - Biang Biang Noodles: least numbing of the noodle dishes we ordered. If you LOVE carbs and not a lot of sauce, this one's for you! - Dandan noodles: this thin noodle dish is slightly more numbing than the Biang Biang noodles, but still bearable and tasty. - Chongqing Special Noodles: most numbing of the three! I had to pause eating this a few times as it was getting a little uncomfy! The noodles are side but thinner than the Biang Biang noodles. I liked that we ordered noodle dishes each with different noodle types, flavors, and spice levels. The Biang Biang noodles were respite from the Chongqing Special Noodles, while the Dandan noodles had the right amount of peanut flavor and "mala." We arrived 45 minutes before closing on a Sunday night (it was a holiday the next day though). We were surprised that there was still a line of people wait in for seats close to closing time! Thinking we weren't going to be seated, we decided to order for takeout. We ended up being the last party to be seated! The staff was kind to transfer our takeout orders as dine-in dishes! The staff had the right amount of customer service and attentiveness for a Chinese restaurant, if you know what I mean haha. For amazing noodle dishes, comfortable seating, and accommodating service, Chong Qing Special Noodles gets a solid five star rating!

At the same time, since it's in the SGV, there are lots of restaurants that are similar and can produce the same food at the same level. Noodles were nutty, filling, and spicy. The only thing I didn't really like were the Chong Qing dumplings. They were a little too thin with too little meat I also couldn't handle the spice but that's on me haha! Staffs were very friendly (sometimes hard to find in restaurants like this)! Someone walked around several times to refill water, in which I desperately needed and appreciated lol

It was our first time at Tam's and we weren't disappointed at all! Tam's has a breakfast menu with plenty of options. The two of us ordered two breakfast combos and each came with a drink, two appetizers and an entrée. My hubby ordered the cold Hong Kong milk tea, which required a $1 surcharge for cold drinks. I ordered the hot Hong Kong milk tea. Both milk teas were delicious--no complaints at all! We both ordered their jook and for our appetizers, we ended up trying all four options since each combo lets you choose two appetizers. Everything was yummy and the portions were generous enough for two people. If you're a party of three and aren't big eaters, I'd recommend ordering just two breakfast combos. There's a parking lot outside since the restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza, so parking wasn't an issue. I'll definitely bookmark this place for future visits whenever I'm in the area. The staff were friendly and very attentive. They regularly checked on us to see if we needed more water. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating, which was a nice option.

You're welcomed into a cozy apace that has some decorative elements even to the music choice. Reminds me of our trip to japan, which I MISS SO MUCH! The sauce was tangy sweet kind of like teriyaki sauce. It was crispy but still so juicy and soft. HANDS DOWN GET THIS! Loved it so much I could have a whole bowl Tsukemen: $22.45. 5/5Stars - If you aren't familiar with this, the broth is separate from the noodles. Its a different way of experiencing noodles. The broth is thick, creamy and flavor profile is on point. Inside of the broth there is mushrooms and pcs of pork. The noodles are cooked perfectly and also comes with pcs of nori, soft boiled jammy eggs and 4 pcs of thick chashu. Portion size lets just say they are generous and we all can EAT ^^, Kakigori (MATCHA) $8/$14. 5/5 Stars - Definite MUST! Its made with Japanese shaved ice, a very creamy soft cream matcha sauce and matcha powder! I cant tell you how good this dessert is. The wife is obsessed and one if the main reasons why we found this spot in the first place. Please try! Service: - Super friendly staff! They are quick to get our order and serve our meal. I asked for more limes for my noodles 2x and both times they were quick.
